This was our best hotel stay. The atmosphere was calm, relaxing, and incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless, and the bathroom and shower facilities were excellent. Breakfast was delicious, with a slightly different selection each day, which kept things interesting. Guests can choose a noodle soup for breakfast, and we especially enjoyed the tomato omelet—it was both tasty and filling. Our butler, Yang, was attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. We could contact him anytime via WeChat, which made everything very convenient. The views from the room were beautiful, with green mountains and bamboo paths surrounding the property. Every member of the staff was helpful and friendly. Even when someone did not speak English, they always made sure we received assistance, either by finding an English-speaking colleague or using a translation app. It was genuinely sad to leave, and we cannot wait to come back.

Aprovechando que aún no habían llegado las multitudes del 1 de mayo, elegí un fin de semana soleado para visitar el Lago Qiandao. Después de buscar entre varios hoteles, me decidí por el Minghao, relativamente nuevo y de cinco estrellas, que se enfoca en familias. Reservé una habitación familiar en el sexto piso con temática de patitos amarillos y un balcón con vistas al lago, desde donde pude disfrutar de una hermosa puesta de sol. Cenamos en el restaurante Mingxuan Pavilion y probamos la sopa de cabeza de pescado (el paquete de la habitación incluía un cupón de 100 yuanes para la sopa de pescado). ¡Fue genial poder disfrutar de una auténtica sopa de cabeza de pescado del Lago Qiandao sin salir del hotel! El paquete de la habitación también incluía una sesión de fotos de viaje; el fotógrafo fue muy profesional y entusiasta. Además, Ziva, del servicio de atención al cliente del hotel, nos brindó un servicio atento desde el check-in hasta el check-out, ¡así que merece un reconocimiento especial! En general, mi estancia fue muy agradable y lo recomiendo.

Uno de los mejores hoteles en los que nos hemos alojado en China. El personal es muy amable y acogedor. Las aguas termales son increíbles. El territorio es limpio y hermoso. Las habitaciones son frescas, limpias y cómodas. La ubicación, alejada de la carretera principal, lo convierte en el lugar perfecto para unas vacaciones tranquilas y relajantes. De verdad, estamos maravillados con este lugar. 😍

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Qiandao Lake. The room was absolutely stunning, and the lake view was breathtaking. One of the most special features of the room was the bathroom design — the bathtub was positioned so that you could relax while enjoying the beautiful lake scenery, which made for a truly memorable experience. The staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help. I also loved the hotel's interior design, which features a lot of natural wood, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere throughout the property. The breakfast offered a good selection of both Western and Chinese dishes. There is also a nice local Chinese restaurant nearby where you can try the region's famous fish, which I highly recommend. The only downside was transportation. Unfortunately, I missed my train because we were unable to get a taxi for about 40 minutes. Even though I tried to arrange transportation in advance, it was still not enough. The hotel does not provide a taxi service, so I would strongly recommend allowing plenty of extra time if you need to catch a train or have a fixed schedule. Apart from that, everything was wonderful, and I had an amazing stay. I would happily return in the future ☺️

An unforgettable luxury wellness retreat. I discovered Xixi Xin Hotel while searching for a peaceful escape, and it exceeded every expectation. The architecture is breathtaking, blending traditional Chinese culture with modern luxury in a way that feels elegant, authentic and incredibly calming. The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. The suites are beautifully designed with natural, eco-friendly materials that create an instantly grounding atmosphere. Upon entering, you’re welcomed by a Marshall speaker with a curated selection of nature sounds—waves, birds, rustling leaves and crackling fire—setting the tone for complete relaxation. The bathroom is equally impressive, with beautiful curtains opening to a soaking spa prepared daily with fresh rose petals and natural bath salts. Thoughtful touches such as soft linen loungewear and complimentary disposable swimwear made the experience feel effortlessly luxurious. Service is truly five-star. Each suite is assigned a personal butler who is attentive, responsive and genuinely committed to making your stay effortless. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the hospitality was warm, personal and sincere. I was initially hesitant about the vegetarian restaurant, but it was one of the highlights of my stay. The dishes were nutritious, beautifully presented and worthy of fine dining, while still being surprisingly filling. For those who prefer meat, there are also excellent restaurants nearby. The wellness program is outstanding, with daily yoga, Tai Chi, sound baths, traditional Chinese medicine consultations and other healing experiences. Classes run for around an hour and are led by knowledgeable instructors who genuinely care about your wellbeing, creating a deeply relaxing and restorative experience. With only around 8–10 suites, the hotel remains wonderfully quiet and intimate, allowing guests to completely disconnect from the outside world. After just three nights, I left feeling genuinely relaxed, grounded and restored. A rare hidden gem that combines exceptional architecture, thoughtful design, impeccable service and meaningful wellness experiences. If you’re looking for a peaceful five-star retreat focused on luxury, wellness and tranquillity, I couldn’t recommend Xixi Xin Hotel more highly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mi estancia en el Bright Hotel fue realmente maravillosa, superando todas mis expectativas y obteniendo una calificación de cinco estrellas. El ambiente general del hotel es impresionante. La limpieza fue impecable: ¡las habitaciones y todas las zonas comunes estaban impecablemente limpias y luminosas! La ropa de cama era blanca y suave, el baño estaba impecable, y la meticulosa desinfección garantizó una estancia realmente cómoda y segura. El desayuno fue abundante y delicioso: ¡fue un verdadero punto culminante! La variada selección de platos chinos y occidentales, desde pasteles y gachas recién hechos hasta fruta fresca, ensaladas, productos horneados, platos calientes, salchichas y tocino, era de alta calidad. Los ingredientes eran frescos y los sabores auténticos, lo que garantizaba un comienzo del día pleno y lleno de energía. El hotel es enorme, ocupa una gran zona de parque de atracciones, y las habitaciones también son muy espaciosas. Gracias a la recepcionista, Xiao Guo, por mejorar mi habitación; quedé muy satisfecha con mi estancia. El desayuno también estuvo bastante bien. Los parques de atracciones y las aguas termales de los alrededores son excelentes, y el servicio fue impecable. We chose this hotel primarily for its promise of a secluded, nature-connected experience and its on-site hot springs—a perfect antidote to busy city life. The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed. The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety. Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for. Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding. I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully.

Un lugar estupendo para relajarse y disfrutar de las aguas termales y las piscinas. Las villas del complejo son de buen tamaño y están limpias. Hay una selección de piscinas y aguas termales para elegir. Es un complejo grande y montañoso, por lo que para desplazarse es necesario usar los vehículos de transporte de Melex. Es una pena que sea difícil comunicarse con los conductores locales… en varias ocasiones no nos recogieron ni nos dejaron en las paradas correctas. Sin embargo, hay un grupo increíble de becarios de Indonesia que ofrecen un servicio de excelente calidad, al estilo occidental. Sería una gran idea ubicar a estos becarios en diferentes áreas del complejo para mejorar la experiencia del cliente y dar un mejor ejemplo y una mayor orientación al cliente al personal local, que lamentablemente a veces carece de habilidades de atención al cliente. Actualmente, los becarios internacionales se encuentran principalmente en los restaurantes y el spa, pero se les necesita más en la recepción, las aguas termales, las zonas de piscinas y las paradas del servicio de transporte.
