It has been a great 5 days and 4 nights in Lijiang. My stay could not have been more than memorable if not for this place. It was the best ever decision made. First of all, the location is the most important reason as I wanted to stay inside the old town. Just within a few minutes walk, I was already at the main square of the old town and walking distance to both North gate and South gate was also less than 10 minutes walk. There were many food, retail options and convenience stores everywhere. The hotel provided a pick up and transfer service which made it even better as one did not have to carry your own bags to the hotel. The communication was very smooth, prompt and clear. Despite the proximity of the hotel with the main old town square, it is surprisingly a very quiet and peaceful abode. Secondly, the hotel itself is very beautiful with a mixture of modern and traditional design. One can also see a beautiful panoramic view from the second floor. The room has new and high quality furniture. What i also appreciated was the efficiency, room service done promptly and everything was replenished well. The common area where breakfast service is served is spacious and comfortable with plenty of sitting area. There was also an afternoon tea daily served either at your room or at the common lounge area, with a variety of drinks to choose from. You must also try the coffee too! One cup is always not enough as it's that tasty. There is also a room to host Chinese tea drinking if one is keen to experience local pu er tea! Finally, the hospitality is one of the best I've ever experienced in China. The hotel manager, Ms Li is very genuine, friendly, kind, resourceful and hospitable. She is always checking on my welfare and ensuring that my stay is nothing less than comfortable. She is able to provide recommendations and suggestions on what can be done in Lijiang, saving one a lot of time and effort. If you are willing, she could also assist with booking. Together with her team, Xiao Long and Xiao Ping, all of them meticulously took care of me with their best ability. If you want a good relaxing trip, please choose this hotel, you will never regret it! Thank you once again for making my stay in Lijiang a memorable experience. Looking forward to coming back again.

Este edificio te permite experimentar plenamente la atmósfera de Lijiang. Ubicado cerca de la Roca del León, es un lugar donde los turistas que visitan Lijiang vienen a disfrutar de las vistas nocturnas y panorámicas del casco antiguo. Sin embargo, los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de estas magníficas vistas desde sus habitaciones sin tener que pagar para ir a buscarlas. Es una vista despejada que te dejará sin palabras. El alojamiento también está muy cerca del famoso Molino de Agua y la calle Sifang en el casco antiguo de Lijiang. Como está en un piso alto, quienes lleven maletas grandes podrían preocuparse, pero el personal sale a ayudarlas. Este servicio se aplica tanto al hacer el check-in como el check-out; aunque nuestra maleta era muy grande, de 71 cm (28 pulgadas), debido a nuestro largo viaje, la llevaron como si fuera algo habitual. Una de las mayores ventajas de este lugar es la amabilidad del personal. Aunque no era posible comunicarse en inglés, pudimos comunicarnos sin problemas a través de WeChat. Incluso nos ayudaron a empacar pan, leche y fruta antes de nuestra excursión matutina y nos ayudaron a pedir comida a domicilio. Siempre que teníamos preguntas sobre Lijiang, las respondían rápidamente por WeChat. El desayuno también estaba delicioso. Comimos fideos de arroz, un sabor que cualquier persona asiática disfrutaría. Como está ubicado en una zona elevada, los alrededores de Lijiang eran campos de maíz. También servían batatas y maíz, que estaban riquísimos. Además, fue agradable que un simpático gato gris visitara la entrada del alojamiento todos los días. La desventaja es que, debido a su ubicación en una zona elevada, y a que los senderos del casco antiguo de Lijiang tienen piedras y escaleras resbaladizas, además de que el propio alojamiento tiene escaleras altas, no es adecuado para recorrer el casco antiguo, especialmente durante la temporada de lluvias, para personas con problemas de rodilla o personas mayores. Sin embargo, incluso para estos huéspedes, si les asignan una habitación en una planta baja y salen por la puerta contigua del casco antiguo de Lijiang para tomar un taxi hacia el sur, donde hay mucho que ver, no debería haber problema. Dejando de lado estos inconvenientes, este alojamiento merece una alta puntuación por su personal amable, su precio razonable, su delicioso desayuno y, sobre todo, por las vistas nocturnas. Además, si vienen, no dejen de probar las naranjas del vestíbulo. Fueron las mejores naranjas que he probado en mi vida.

Before we even arrived, the team had already contacted us and seamlessly arranged our airport transfer and pickup to the accommodation, which immediately set the tone for an exceptional stay. Accommodation: The accommodation itself exceeds a 5-star hotel standard. From the moment you enter the room, it is clear that every element has been carefully considered. The design, attention to detail, and overall comfort reflect the work of a top-tier designer. As designers ourselves, we truly appreciated the thoughtful colour schemes, lighting choices, and smart conveniences throughout the space. Features such as the fully automatic toilet, comfortable shower, and stylish humidifier added to the sense of luxury and refinement. It is this meticulous attention to detail that truly sets this accommodation apart from others. Location: Located in Yuhu Village, a charming Naxi village, the setting is both authentic and peaceful. The village atmosphere, friendly locals, and lovely coffee shops and bakeries make it a joy to explore. A particular highlight is the close-up view of Yulong Snow Mountain, which adds a breathtaking natural backdrop to the entire experience. Customer Service & Staff: The customer service was outstanding. We received thoughtful, personalised tips and guidance to make our stay in Lijiang as enjoyable as possible—far from generic recommendations, the suggestions were clearly tailored to our personal interests and needs. The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and generous, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. It is evident that they love what they do, and that passion translates into an atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. We were deeply touched by the manager’s generosity and thoughtful parting gifts. La casa de huéspedes está muy cerca de la Puerta Norte de la ciudad antigua, a pocos minutos a pie, lo que hace que sea muy cómoda para moverse. El patio está lleno de flores y el ambiente es muy agradable. En la azotea hay un mirador desde donde se pueden admirar las vistas panorámicas de la ciudad antigua, y si tienes suerte, incluso puedes ver la Montaña Nevada Yulong dorada por el sol naciente o poniente. Las vistas tanto por la mañana como por la noche son excelentes. Las instalaciones de la habitación son muy completas, incluyendo secador de pelo Dyson, dispositivos inteligentes, inodoro inteligente, e incluso humidificador y máquina de oxígeno, lo que hace que la estancia sea muy cómoda y sin preocupaciones.

Best stay in Yunnan, they deserve a 10.0 rating!!! The owner has a very good taste, the rooms and common area are both well designed. Just renovated 2 years ago. None of the corners is not instagrammable. The yulong view is perfect, you can see the view from the room and common area. Never forget to mention about their service. I didn’t get the names of the receptionists (a guy and a lady), both are really friendly and helpful, love their smiles. They provide free rides to shuhe and dayan guzhen

El personal del frente de escritorio era muy agradable para compartir su colección de té para que intentas. Fue una agradable estancia.

This is a place that only exists in dreams. Snow mountains, huge green grasslands and adorable animals everywhere -the scenery was truly unforgettable. I fell in love with this place the moment I arrived. For people who are always busy and stressed with daily life, I highly recommend staying here. It is the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe and feel peaceful again. The whole environment is calm, quiet and very healing. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is also very convenient, very near to Baisha Ancient Town and they even provide free shuttle service. One of my favourite stays in Yunnan and I would love to come back again someday.

Cleanliness: room was slightly dusty. Spiders and insects in the room, but expected because it has many oriental decorations that require constant cleaning to prevent dust accummulation. Location: convenient, it’s of walking distance to the north gate, easy to stroll around to different parts of the ancient town. Service: I have never given a bad review for the service attitude of any accomodations which I’ve stayed at in China, but I honestly think that the service here is mediocre and more reactive than proactive. They fulfil the basics of bringing your luggage up to your room, giving directions to the laundry and breakfast areas and arranging for pick up from the station to the hotel for a stay of at least three consecutive nights. I cannot speak for all the service staff, but the service staff that mainly tended to me during the stay definitely needs to be improved. He was helpful when I needed help for the laundry setting. However, when I needed help with booking tickets to snow mountain (I’m a foreigner and do not have a local number), it was a rather frustrating experience. He shared that the booking of tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain can be done 3-4 days in advance, and he could help me when I arrive at the accommodations. When I arrived, it was 4 days in advance but he was rather nonchalent and did not manage to help me secure tickets for my intended date of visit and had to eventually rely on the tour group to help change dates. The night before the tour visit, I had to reach out on wechat to ask about when and where the meeting point is for the tour. Even after the tour, I even had to ask several times to pay for the tour tickets as he had helped me to secure the ticket to the glacier park cablecar eventually. I had already shared that I could not transfer money on wechat and could only do via scanning his wechat/alipay qr code or vice versa. I feel that given that you guys are located in Lijiang and located near to Jade Snow Mountain, you should have encountered other customers who need help with the booking and this shouldn’t have been such a stressful tour booking experience. Amenities: they have two all-in-1 washing machine and drying amenities which was rather helpful. In the original room which i had booked, the air con leaked at around 10pm+. I texted the service staff on wechat and another staff came 5-10minutes later to check. This staff said it’s normal for the air con to leak at times especially if it’s blocked. After checking, he offered to change rooms for me. He helped me to move my luggage to the new room. There was no form of apology by any of the staff on the day itself when the incident happened. It was only on the next day when I requested for check-out transportation services to the railway station for the following day, where the staff who mainly tended to be apologised for the aircon leakage and offered complimentary transport services to the railway station. I’ve stayed in many accomodations in Yunnan but this was the most disappointing stay thus far and I will definitely not be back again.

The best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip to Yunnan. We got a free upgrade from the owner, and the benefits that come with the room were aplenty (afternoon tea, great breakfast set, a tea-making session etc). The owner also helps us buy a nice, affordable day tour to Dali, which we enjoyed tremendously. The hotel itself is new and spacious, and our room has the view of a peaceful small river. The surrounding area is serene and quiet, with a handful of quaint cafes, restaurants and bars. It feels like a complete contrast of the other commercial side of Lijiang. Overall, we loved the stay. Will definitely recommend this our friends.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at 望山雪 Hotel. The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing — exactly as shown in the listing photos, if not even better in person. Waking up to that scenery every day was such a highlight of the trip. The room itself was very impressive as well. The features and amenities felt modern, advanced, and thoughtfully designed, making our stay extremely comfortable and convenient. What truly made this stay special, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was sincere, warm, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both beautiful views and heartfelt service.
