Even before we reached the hotel, they reached out to inquire if we needed assistance traveling from Dali, showcasing their commitment to guest comfort. Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with paying our driver, but the hotel staff and manager stepped in personally to resolve it, ensuring the driver was paid and allowing us to settle with the hotel directly. This kind of hands-on, problem-solving service was truly remarkable and reflective of their par-excellence standards. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of thoughtful design and customer care. The room amenities were top-notch, meticulously curated to enhance the guest experience, demonstrating the management’s attention to detail. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered breathtaking views of Dragon Lake reflecting the majestic Snow Dragon Mountain, with the serene surrounding nature elevating the experience to another level. Even our bathtub provided a stunning view, adding a touch of luxury and tranquility to our stay. Every staff member was courteous, professional, and eager to assist, whether it was arranging local excursions, recommending dinners and restaurants, booking spa sessions, or scheduling a photoshoot. Their coordination and professionalism were next-level, making every moment of our stay seamless and enjoyable. Despite the language barrier, as I don’t speak Chinese, the staff bridged this gap effortlessly, ensuring clear communication and making us feel completely at ease. This level of care and coordination is rare and deserves high praise. Our time at Bantang·White House was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding work—thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

We had an incredibly pleasant stay at Mo Shan, with a calm and comfortable room that provided a perfect place to rest after exploring the old town. The hot spring bath was particularly relaxing and secluded terrace added a nice touch to the overall experience. Breakfast was also a highlight — the freshly prepared noodles were delicious and a great way to start the day. What truly stood out was the level of care and attention from the hosts. They were consistently helpful, assisting with organizing and booking day trips, and even preparing takeaway breakfast for early morning departures. The availability of a self-service laundry room was also greatly appreciated during our travels. Finally, the support with luggage — especially coordinating and helping carry it from within the old city to the taxi pick-up point — made a real difference and showed genuine attentiveness. Overall, a thoughtful and well-managed stay, combining comfort, hospitality, and practical support for travelers.

Para este viaje a Lijiang de cuatro días, me alojé en el InterContinental, principalmente porque viajaba con mis padres. Había reservado el hotel con mucha antelación, pensando que sería inconveniente para mis padres alojarse en una casa de huéspedes (tendrían que caminar mucho por caminos de piedra). Por eso, elegí el InterContinental, principalmente por mi confianza en la marca. Sin embargo, esta vez me sentí un poco decepcionado con el InterContinental. En primer lugar, debo destacar que la ubicación del hotel es excelente, lo que facilita visitar la ciudad antigua; en segundo lugar, las vistas del hotel son bonitas. Pero las deficiencias del hotel también son muy obvias: las instalaciones están anticuadas. Nos alojamos cuatro noches y el inodoro estuvo atascado tres noches, y la mosquitera también estaba rota (no se podía abrir la ventana para ventilar). Notifiqué el problema varias veces y el personal del hotel respondió con bastante rapidez y con una buena actitud. Overall i am satisfied my one night stay in The Rock. However, i am not so impressed with the afternoon tea. Normally a good quality afternoon tea comes with sufficient cakes, scones, fruits, biscuits. But the afternoon serve by The Rocky is rather pathetic. Breakfast served was okay but no great. I see both the afternoon tea and breakfast should improve. I did not consider taking lunch or dinner in the hotel as i do not know what they are serving. If i am returning to 玉湖村，i may not stay here again. There is no pull factor to attract me back.

This was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。 2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。 3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。 4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。 5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。 6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排） 尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

Mi esposa y yo viajábamos juntos, volviendo a Lijiang después de más de veinte años, y elegimos el Hotel Jieluofu Garden. Llegamos alrededor de las 9 de la noche. Después de registrarnos, descubrimos que el restaurante ya estaba cerrado y, como teníamos un poco de hambre, pedimos comida para llevar. Sin embargo, tardó cuarenta minutos en llegar. Cuando el gerente de recepción, Liu Fei, se enteró, inmediatamente nos trajo fruta y algunos bocadillos para que pudiéramos aguantar la espera. La amabilidad de Liu Fei es realmente admirable y algo de lo que nuestros colegas deberían aprender. Mi esposa y yo nos sentimos muy conmovidos, así que le dimos un pulgar arriba especial 👍👍👍. Además, las habitaciones y el ambiente del hotel también eran muy buenos, y sin duda nos alojaremos aquí de nuevo la próxima vez que vengamos a Lijiang.

Alojarse en este hotel durante varios días para descansar en mi viaje fue una decisión acertada. La ubicación es muy conveniente y el ambiente en general es tranquilo y confortable. El hotel ofrece un amplio margen de tiempo para la salida, teniendo en cuenta los horarios de los viajeros. El personal es amable, flexible y muy atento. El entorno general del complejo es precioso y las instalaciones para cargar dispositivos y la lavandería de autoservicio son muy prácticas. La recepción responde con prontitud y cualquier problema se resuelve rápidamente. Fue muy reconfortante descansar aquí después de un largo viaje, y sin duda volvería a alojarme aquí la próxima vez que esté por la zona. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a los viajeros que busquen un lugar para descansar. Mi vuelo cambió de hora y, tras hablar con el mayordomo, me ayudaron a extender mi hora de salida, por lo que les estoy muy agradecido.
