Esta es una joya escondida de hostal, no muy lejos de la Puerta Norte del Casco Antiguo. Podrás disfrutar de la vista nocturna del casco antiguo y es increíblemente tranquilo, lo cual es fantástico para alguien con el sueño ligero como yo. El dueño fue muy amable y nos ayudó con el equipaje tanto al registrarnos como al salir. El hostal tiene ascensor, así que no hay que subir escaleras. El aire acondicionado central y la calefacción por suelo radiante del baño eran excelentes, y el lugar estaba impecable; no hubo problema alguno. El servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto fue en miniván, mucho mejor que un taxi y muy cómodo. Estaba tan emocionado por llegar a Lijiang que no tomé muchas fotos. Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with paying our driver, but the hotel staff and manager stepped in personally to resolve it, ensuring the driver was paid and allowing us to settle with the hotel directly. This kind of hands-on, problem-solving service was truly remarkable and reflective of their par-excellence standards. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of thoughtful design and customer care. The room amenities were top-notch, meticulously curated to enhance the guest experience, demonstrating the management’s attention to detail. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered breathtaking views of Dragon Lake reflecting the majestic Snow Dragon Mountain, with the serene surrounding nature elevating the experience to another level. Even our bathtub provided a stunning view, adding a touch of luxury and tranquility to our stay. Every staff member was courteous, professional, and eager to assist, whether it was arranging local excursions, recommending dinners and restaurants, booking spa sessions, or scheduling a photoshoot. Their coordination and professionalism were next-level, making every moment of our stay seamless and enjoyable. Despite the language barrier, as I don’t speak Chinese, the staff bridged this gap effortlessly, ensuring clear communication and making us feel completely at ease. This level of care and coordination is rare and deserves high praise. Our time at Bantang·White House was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The staff are super nice at this hotel! We got the room that faces the mountains so the view was really good. They are also able to drive you to the closest old town called SuHe Old Town for free! Make sure to add them on wechat and you can easily communicate with them.

Después de aplicarme los primeros auxilios básicos, fui a la recepción a recoger nuestro desayuno para llevar. Mencioné de pasada la quemadura, y el recepcionista detuvo inmediatamente lo que estaba haciendo, trajo ungüento para quemaduras y bastoncillos de algodón para tratar la herida 🩹, priorizando la seguridad del huésped. Fue un trato muy humano. Al regresar al hotel después del viaje a la montaña nevada, estaba completamente agotado 😮💨. Overall i am satisfied my one night stay in The Rock. However, i am not so impressed with the afternoon tea. Normally a good quality afternoon tea comes with sufficient cakes, scones, fruits, biscuits. But the afternoon serve by The Rocky is rather pathetic. Breakfast served was okay but no great. I see both the afternoon tea and breakfast should improve. I did not consider taking lunch or dinner in the hotel as i do not know what they are serving. If i am returning to 玉湖村，i may not stay here again. There is no pull factor to attract me back.

This was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。 2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。 3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。 4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。 5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。 6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排） 尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

El hotel tiene un estilo arquitectónico antiguo, bien mantenido, y las habitaciones son amplias y limpias. El desayuno buffet ofrecía una buena variedad. Más tarde, también probamos una olla caliente de carne de yak en el hotel, que estaba deliciosa. Lo que más me impresionó fue el servicio, especialmente Kim. El hotel también ofrece muchas actividades en las que participar. Definitivamente volvería si tuviera la oportunidad.

Alojarse en este hotel durante varios días para descansar en mi viaje fue una decisión acertada. La ubicación es muy conveniente y el ambiente en general es tranquilo y confortable. La recepción responde con prontitud y cualquier problema se resuelve rápidamente. Fue muy reconfortante descansar aquí después de un largo viaje, y sin duda volvería a alojarme aquí la próxima vez que esté por la zona. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a los viajeros que busquen un lugar para descansar.
