LLinscorpzFirst time trying the steingeberger brand hotel - the service standard turns out to be better than the other international brand hotels. Location is just a stone’s throw away from Berlin hbf, super convenient. Greeted with a smile at check-in, huge lobby area. Room is much bigger than most Germany hotels, clean, comfortable, heated bathroom flooring. Provide bathroom robes. Would be even more ideal if the hotel is able to provide water daily instead of just day 1.

LLambert_I stayed at the nhow Hotel Berlin with friends for 6 nights around New Year's. While there were some positive aspects, overall, the experience felt quite inconsistent for a 4-star hotel.
The positives:
- The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable.
- Soundproofing between the rooms was good.
- The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
However, there were numerous issues that detracted from the experience:
- Reservation Mix-Up: I had specifically requested two single beds instead of a double bed, but this was not reflected in the room assignment upon arrival.
- Missing Amenities: Basic items in a hotel like bathrobes and slippers were missing from the room, and we were told to order them via room service. Unfortunately, the app didn’t work, and no one at the reception answered the phone despite multiple attempts on different days.
- Light and Noise Issues: While the rooms were soundproofed well from other rooms, we could hear everything happening in the hallway. Additionally, there was a gap under the door, letting light from the corridor into the room at night, which made it impossible to have complete darkness.
- Wellness Area: The wellness area was underwhelming. There was no jacuzzi, only a sauna and a hammam, and the hammam was out of service. The gym locker room lights stopped working after a certain time, and towels were unavailable later in the day.
- Misleading Information: A brochure in the room mentioned that phone chargers were available via room service. However, we were told at the reception that these were no longer provided for free and had to be purchased for €20.
While the hotel wasn’t bad overall, these recurring small issues added up and left us feeling that the service didn’t meet the expectations for a 4-star establishment. It’s a shame because we did enjoy our stay to some extent, but the lack of attention to detail was disappointing.
If I return to Berlin, I won’t rule out staying here again, but I’ll definitely check other options first.

LLenalunBuena relación calidad-precio. Está entre dos estaciones de metro y es fácil llegar a los principales lugares turísticos. Se encuentra en un barrio tranquilo con dos supermercados a 5-8 minutos.
La habitación está limpia. Las instalaciones y servicios son, en general, bastante nuevos. No hay mucho que objetar. Una opción muy segura.

Reservamos 3 habitaciones dobles. Tenga en cuenta que el precio es diferente entre las habitaciones dobles y las dobles.
Llegamos tarde por la noche debido a retrasos en el vuelo y estábamos muy cansados. Durante el check-in nos dijeron que no había más habitaciones dobles porque el hotel estaba lleno. ¿Qué sentido tiene pagar más por habitaciones dobles si el hotel no las reserva para nosotros?
Cuando pedimos que se añadiera una cama adicional, nos dijeron que no había suficiente espacio para ella. Esto no es cierto, ya que ya habíamos estado en las habitaciones y eran grandes y con mucho espacio.
Después de mucho regateo y después de que el encargado de noche hiciera un espectáculo entrando en la oficina del hotel durante unos minutos, volvió para decirnos que podía cambiar una de las habitaciones y poner una cama adicional.
Seguíamos sin estar satisfechos, así que insistimos en que el hotel podía hacer algo para rectificar el problema. Después de otra ronda de montaje, el encargado de noche volvió y dijo que ahora podía añadir una cama extra a otra habitación y que también nos daría un descuento del 50% para 2 de las habitaciones.
Además, dijo que podíamos llevarnos las 2 botellas de agua mineral (que son de pago) gratis. Los frigoríficos de las habitaciones tienen sensores para detectar si se han llevado las bebidas. Al día siguiente, nos pusimos en contacto con la recepción para asegurarnos de que no nos cobrarían. La chica que nos atendió lo comprobó y nos dijo que había una nota que decía que no nos cobrarían. Cuando recibí el extracto de mi tarjeta de crédito, encontré un cargo por las 2 botellas de agua mineral. 16 euros. Ridículo.
A lo largo de esta dura experiencia, debo decir que la actitud y los modales del encargado de noche fueron realmente malos. Por ejemplo, no recuerdo haberlo visto sonreír en absoluto, ni siquiera cuando vino a hablarnos por primera vez sobre las habitaciones.
Esto estropeó nuestras vacaciones. Hilton es una marca de hoteles de alta categoría, pero el servicio nos deja un sabor de boca muy amargo.

UUsuario invitadoEl registro de entrada y salida es por cuenta propia; incluso hay que programar la tarjeta uno mismo y nunca hay nadie detrás del mostrador. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas, con balcón, cama cómoda con muchas almohadas y cojines, y televisión con muchos canales (aunque la programación está en alemán o al menos doblada). Incluso te dan unas bonitas zapatillas, un hervidor de agua, té y café, y hay muchos enchufes para cargar dispositivos en la habitación. Hay caja fuerte, microondas y una pequeña cocina para cocinar, con platos, cuencos y cubiertos. Incluso podemos usar la lavandería (con lavadora y secadora) en el sótano y usar toallas y cajas de pañuelos adicionales si lo necesitamos. La ubicación está muy cerca de la estación de tren de Alexanderplatz (a unos 5-6 minutos a pie). El supermercado también está a unos 5 minutos, lo cual es enorme, solo hay que tener en cuenta que cierra los domingos.

EE.ajamiDas Hotel ist modern, stylisch und die Lage ist wirklich ausgezeichnet.
Trotzdem muss ich sagen: Für diesen Preis hätte ich woanders deutlich mehr bekommen.
Was mich überrascht hat, ist das fehlende hoteleigene Fitnessstudio. Die Kooperation mit McFit ist okay, aber Gästen dann noch 10 Euro zu berechnen, wirkt bei einem Haus dieser Kategorie etwas unpassend. Eine echte Kooperation hätte kostenfreien Zugang ermöglicht. So fühlt es sich eher wie ein Aufpreis als ein Service an.
Ähnlich beim Room Service: Für diesen Preis erwarte ich eine tägliche Zimmerreinigung ohne Nachfrage. Umweltfreundlichkeit ist wichtig, aber Sauberkeit gehört zur Hotelqualität — und sollte nicht der Punkt sein, an dem man spart.
Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel mit tollem Design und guter Stimmung.
Empfehlen kann ich es, aber beim nächsten Mal würde ich andere Hotels in Betracht ziehen, weil Preis und Leistung hier nicht ganz zusammenpassen.
