Our stay in Papman in Kunming was handsdown our best hotel experience in China. The staff was extremely attentive and proactive without ever encroaching on our privacy. Kelsy was super helpful with navigating the city - not least because his English is absolutely excellent. The rooms were absolutely fantastic - gorgeous interior design, great layout and fantastic view. The breakfast buffet was also a fantastic experience. Freshly cooked noodles with a variety of toppings was our favourite dish! Thanks again to the entire staff of Papman, you guys were awesome! Wish you all the best!

Hands down the best hotel in the Kunming KMG airport area. You must stay here! I am a huge fan! I live in China and travel through KMG airport often for layovers and have stayed at the Ji Hotel right inside the airport. That hotel is okay (and has the location advantage of being right inside the terminal) but feels very stuffy and many of the rooms have no windows. In many ways that hotel isa broom closet compared tithe DoubleTree 🌳 🌳. The DoubleTree by Hilton blows that Ji Hotel (and most others in the KMG area) out of the water💦! For an extra 10 minute private van ride, the upgrade in conditions is significant and well worthwhile. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast is a true 5 star masterpiece that has LOTS of options for both western and Chinese tourists, including made to order egg station, made to order noodle station, and an incredible fresh salad 🥗 bar with high quality ingredients (very hard to find in China 😜). The service staff is top notch with great English at check in and very helpful all the way through. The hotel is brand new and everything is sparkling clean. The elevator is very fast and modern and the furnishings are all tasteful and elegant! There are so many free extras that make this an incredible value: -Free Private shuttle in brand new Buick 🚐 van -Free hand baked chocolate chip cookie on check in -2 free bowls of local Yunnan noodles delivered to your room for you -Free Puer tea tasting

Es perfecto para quienes necesitan soledad, desconectar y regular sus emociones. Ya lo he guardado para volver a reservar repetidamente.

Esta fue nuestra segunda estancia aquí. Como hotel de tránsito en Kunming, Emily sigue siendo nuestra encargada, ¡y es realmente un tesoro! Our stay at InterContinental Kunming was exactly what you would expect from a true five-star international luxury hotel. The property is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, and offers a peaceful resort-like atmosphere that feels like a welcome escape from the bustle of the city. The grounds are stunning, especially with the beautiful jacaranda flowers in bloom, which made the hotel even more picturesque. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of quality options to start the day. What truly stood out, however, was the Concierge team. I would especially like to thank Mr. Smulin and the entire team for their outstanding professionalism and dedication. Prior to our arrival, they assisted with receiving several packages on our behalf. When an issue arose involving a missing package, Mr. Smulin and team went above and beyond to help track it down, coordinate the recovery process, and even arrange for it to be forwarded to another hotel on our itinerary. This level of service is rare and demonstrates genuine care for guests. Their responsiveness, attention to detail, and commitment to helping us resolve the issue made a huge difference to our trip. Thank you to Mr. Smulin and the entire Concierge team for your exceptional hospitality. I would gladly recommend InterContinental Kunming to anyone visiting Kunming and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Recientemente visité Kunming y me alojé en el Hotel Haili Binya Wanda Hot Spring. ¡La experiencia fue fantástica! Como siempre, una de las principales razones para elegir el Sofitel fueron sus camas. La comodidad de alta calidad y el sistema SOFITEL MYBED son imprescindibles en Kunming. El hotel conserva la grandeza de un hotel de lujo tradicional. Desde los botones hasta la recepción, pasando por el servicio de habitaciones y el servicio de limpieza, todos fueron no solo entusiastas, sino también muy profesionales. Durante mi estancia de tres días, tuve varios problemas con la recepción y agradecí enormemente la atención y profesionalidad de Xiao Xue, quien me ayudó a resolver muchos problemas de forma sencilla, clara y eficiente. Hello everyone. We stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2024. Initially, we booked the hotel for 5 days, then we extended, extended and in the end, we stayed there for 11 nights. The hotel is new, clean. The rooms have good quality robes, toiletries. We were quite satisfied with the breakfasts. We were pleased with the availability of freshly squeezed juices. The main staff does not speak English, but this is not a problem, since the on-line translator saves us, and the staff tries very hard to understand what you want from them. The only person who speaks excellent English was the manager Sam. A man passionate about his work. He told us a lot about the hotel and what is nearby. And there is a lot there: a park with playgrounds, a bungee jump, and a birdhouse with parrots. Sam showed us a place next to the hotel, which is a set for films. Boat station, where you can take a boat and take a walk on the lake and go straight to the hotel grounds. The hotel itself is in a great location, in a lowland, on the shore of the lake. If you plan a trip to Kunming, then it is far from the city. But we needed a quiet and beautiful place. And we got it. With the window open in the evenings and mornings you can hear the fish splashing in the lake and the ducks quacking. It was great to sleep, as the mattress and pillows are of excellent quality. We will definitely come back here and will recommend it to our friends. P.S. Once again, we say a huge thank you to Sam, he not only told and showed us a lot about the hotel and the surrounding area, he also helped us solve some issues with our luggage at the airport. A wonderful, responsive person. The hotel management is very lucky to have such a person on their team.

Excelente hotel con un desayuno insuperable de máxima calidad y variedad. Buena atención y buenos detalles del personal. La vista desde la habitación muy buena. Piscina cubierta perfecta. Si tuviera que resaltar algún aspecto negativo sería únicamente que la calefacción era insuficiente y la nevera enfriaba solo ligeramente. Los aspectos positivos superan ampliamente esos 2 pequeños detalles negativos. Si vuelvo a Kunming volveré a reservar este hotel.
