Hoteles con vistas a la montaña en Kunming

Fue una estancia sumamente satisfactoria, una experiencia verdaderamente maravillosa. Solo estuve en Kunming dos días antes de ir a Dali, y después de comparar muchos hoteles de cinco estrellas, me parecieron todos bastante antiguos. Sin embargo, este hotel parecía nuevo y tenía muy buenas reseñas, así que decidí probarlo. Nada más entrar, me impresionó su espectacular diseño. La decoración era increíblemente sofisticada, demostrando claramente que el hotel había invertido mucho en los detalles, a diferencia de otros hoteles que solo se basan en una fachada bonita para atraer clientes. Este hotel era todo lo contrario; cada detalle contribuía a una experiencia perfecta. El restaurante también era excelente, y el desayuno se servía hasta la 1 de la tarde: ¡un detalle muy considerado! Incluso incluyeron un tentempié nocturno. Aunque el hotel no está en una zona turística, me sentí completamente a gusto pasando todo el día allí, lo que me permitió relajarme por completo; realmente me sentí como en unas vacaciones. ¡Sin duda volveré a elegir este hotel la próxima vez que visite Kunming!

Estaba agotado física y mentalmente por las horas extras continuas, así que busqué específicamente este hotel para una escapada de bienestar, y la experiencia superó con creces mis expectativas. El hotel está escondido en una zona tranquila, lejos del bullicio de la ciudad. Con sus jardines frondosos, iluminación suave y un sutil aroma natural, mi mente se calmó en cuanto entré al vestíbulo. Las habitaciones tienen un diseño minimalista y relajante, con un excelente aislamiento de luz y sonido. La zona de yoga estaba bien equipada y el personal era amable y discreto, nunca interrumpió. Dormí profundamente toda la noche. Después de dos días, toda la ansiedad y el cansancio acumulados desaparecieron por completo. Realmente logré una doble sanación para el cuerpo y la mente. Es perfecto para quienes necesitan soledad, desconectar y regular sus emociones. Ya lo he guardado para volver a reservar repetidamente.

La habitación era un poco más pequeña de lo esperado. Por la noche, el aire acondicionado se apagó solo a medianoche mientras dormía, y hacía tanto calor que no pude cubrirme con la manta. Como resultado, a la mañana siguiente me desperté con un ligero resfriado. El servicio fue muy bueno; el personal de recepción me ayudó a subir el equipaje a la habitación. Ofrecen desayuno, merienda y refrigerio nocturno, y el sabor de todo era bastante aceptable. En general, a excepción de que la ubicación es un poco remota. Por la mañana, al hacer el check-out y bajar en el ascensor a la planta baja, vi que habían fregado el suelo. Sin embargo, a juzgar por el penetrante olor a pescado que me invadió nada más salir del ascensor, diría que lo hicieron con agua de muy mala calidad.

En primer lugar, un agradecimiento especial a la señorita de la recepción por habernos mejorado a una habitación doble con vistas de 270 grados. La ubicación del hotel es en la esquina de la calle, muy visible y fácil de encontrar, y hay una rampa para sillas de ruedas que facilita el subir y bajar el equipaje. ¡Al hacer el check-in, incluso nos dieron un pastel de flores recién horneado! La habitación es muy grande, especialmente el baño que tiene lavabos paralelos y una bañera, ¡lo cual es genial! Aunque el gimnasio no es grande, afortunadamente siempre está bastante vacío, al menos las cintas de correr estaban libres cuando fuimos, jajaja. La lavandería de autoservicio suele tener cola durante las horas punta de la noche. Todo en la habitación está bien, excepto que no hay escritorio, lo que podría ser un inconveniente si tienes necesidad de trabajar. Además, la manija para ajustar la temperatura del agua en el baño es muy sensible, y sin quererlo el agua puede salir demasiado caliente, hay que tener cuidado. Aparte de eso, en cuanto a la ubicación y el entorno, ¡no hay nada de qué quejarse!

We booked a Deep Sleep Pro Pillow Room after heading my friend stayed in Atour hotels in China 🇨🇳 + our great stay at Atour hotel in Dali. One of the main reasons we chose this room type was the pillow, which was incredibly comfortable and supportive in Dali. However, the pillows here were completely different :( When we asked the reception about it, this lady first response wasn’t very helpful but another gentleman staff offered to put a “Pro 3” pillows for us to try - which wasn’t the same one :( Thankfully, a third staff we spoke to was very kind (she worked night shift on 15th July) and took the time to contact the Dali hotel for us. We then learned that the pillow we liked was actually customized for that hotel and not a standard pillow across all Atour properties. We really appreciated her effort and excellent service 👍🏻 The room and bathroom were a decent size, but the hotel felt a little older and less modern than the Atour hotel we stayed at the night before. 16 July at 1am, pleasant surprise was the robot delivery service for food orders. The robot brought deliveries to our room remarkably quickly, and we were genuinely impressed by the speed + efficiency! The location was average. The hotel is about an 8-minute taxi ride from Wuyi Road (五一路) and around a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station. It is located on a neighborhood street, a temple next to hotel will hear some music instrument/prayers however it didn’t disturb our sleep in particularly. Overall, the stay was just okay, but the experience didn’t quite match the expectations set by our previous stay at Atour Dali. The excellent service from the helpful receptionist and the fast robot delivery service were highlights, but the inconsistent pillow experience and less convenient location were disappointing tho!

Wanted a special place for some relaxing time together. Do not want to try the usual hotel in the city. After going through the photos, decided to give it a try. And voila….. absolutely no regrets choosing this hotel. The service provided was top notch, the staff are friendly, courteous and prompt. Housekeeping staff always clean up the villa to a level which I had no way to complain. Always willing to go the extra miles in providing personal services to the guests. The Villa I booked had a private hot spring and a huge garden which had the best view in my opinion. Every evening, we are able to watch the sunset in our private garden. It was really out of this world, couples must definitely try it. Everyday the hotel will provide a fruit basket and top up the bar counter with drinks and snacks at no costs. The ever-friendly staff (Miss Lee) even told me to let her know if there are any fruits I would like, she would arrange to fill it up in the fruit basket. She even check with me a few times if there are anything she could do to improve the stay with the hotel. Kudos to the management team for instilling this high service standard. Miss Lee even contacted me after I check out to ask for my feedback. Keep up the wonderful work. I will definitely be back. For this trip is filled with so much wonderful memories. Thanks to the team.

Servicio🙋♀️: El personal es amable y atento, eficiente en los trámites y responde a las necesidades. 3. Ambiente🌟: Elegante vestíbulo, ambiente tranquilo en todo el hotel🔇 y áreas comunes limpias. 4. Higiene🧹: Limpieza exhaustiva en todo el hotel, baños limpios y sin olores, y ropa de cama limpia y cómoda🌙. 5. Habitaciones: Habitaciones amplias con buena insonorización, ropa de cama cómoda, todos los servicios y acceso a internet sin problemas. 6. Resumen: En general, una experiencia perfecta, excelente relación calidad-precio, ¡muy recomendable!

We are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.) Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.
