MMuszsWill start woth the positives. Amazing location, most of the staff were very kind and helpful, the gardens are fantastic and the play area is great when waiting between outings, the room was spacious enough for a family of 4.
Unfortunately the hotel left a sour taste though. During checking the reception staff decided to stop communication in English and instead to speak chinese to my partner although she had nothing to do with the trip organising and proceeded to ignore my questions until my wife asked again in chinese. We were not told any of the usual check in information such as WiFi, breakfast times, facilities, etc.
Our room wasn't ready at 2:30pm as the previous tenants just checked out, told to wait 40 minutes. Waited an hour and a half, no check ups, no apology.
We tried to get a late lunch at the market (all day dining) it is infact not all day, it's only breakfast and dinner.
We got to the room, it had ***** hair and blood in the toilet. Broken electrical outlet with the facade falling off (very dangerous for a family room) and water damage on the wall. The cleaners did do an amazing job in the following days.
Breakfast and dinner and the market had undercooked meat causing myself and my wife to get food poisoning and spend the next 24 hours stuck in the room being sick.
The children's play areas floor it broken with no warning and my child tripped and hurt her self.
We have stayed at many intercontinental hotels and not experienced staff this before, especially from receptionist. Luckily the rest of the staff were amazing and the general facilities were ok. We hope it was just a bad day for them and we will be staying at intercontinental again for the next leg of our trip in xishuangbanna.

OoshynkayUn lugar y una habitación absolutamente increíbles. No todo el mundo habla inglés, pero fue bastante fácil comunicarme con ellos por WeChat y gracias a la función de traducción integrada. Es un poco difícil de encontrar, pero solo porque llegué a las 2 de la madrugada y estaba oscuro. Sin embargo, esto no debería ser un problema si llegas con una hora de luz natural razonable. Además, el lugar está dentro de la World Horti Expo, así que puedes salir y explorar durante tu estancia. El servicio fue excelente; tengo muchas restricciones dietéticas y se encargaron del desayuno a la perfección, preguntando exactamente qué no puedo llevar y personalizando el desayuno para que fuera adecuado. Disfruté cada segundo de mi estancia y lo he estado recomendando sin parar a mis amigos que vayan a Kunming.

UUsuario invitadoWanted a special place for some relaxing time together. Do not want to try the usual hotel in the city. After going through the photos, decided to give it a try. And voila….. absolutely no regrets choosing this hotel. The service provided was top notch, the staff are friendly, courteous and prompt. Housekeeping staff always clean up the villa to a level which I had no way to complain. Always willing to go the extra miles in providing personal services to the guests. The Villa I booked had a private hot spring and a huge garden which had the best view in my opinion. Every evening, we are able to watch the sunset in our private garden. It was really out of this world, couples must definitely try it. Everyday the hotel will provide a fruit basket and top up the bar counter with drinks and snacks at no costs. The ever-friendly staff (Miss Lee) even told me to let her know if there are any fruits I would like, she would arrange to fill it up in the fruit basket. She even check with me a few times if there are anything she could do to improve the stay with the hotel. Kudos to the management team for instilling this high service standard. Miss Lee even contacted me after I check out to ask for my feedback. Keep up the wonderful work. I will definitely be back. For this trip is filled with so much wonderful memories. Thanks to the team.

AAliya0302It is definitely more wedding venue, more local oriented, very nice territory around, good for photoshoot and stuff , nice and friendly staff helped me a lot, but it was a bit confusing in general, like i booked it cause of hotsprings and outdoor pool, turns out you cannot use the outdoor pool and from all hot things was working only one stone bath. So basically we ended up in a very strange situation when 3 groups of people have or to wait in line to that bath or seat on each other. However Indoor pool was nice, big and clean, but bring your towel. The room itself is ...let's say not cosy and a lot reminded a changing room, probably cause of sink right next to the bed. So sum up, good place to have fun, massage, spa say, nice photos and so on, but maybe not a best place to stay for tourist.

Like something out of a romance novel, from the extravagant entrance, to the sweeping stair cases, to the Louis 16th furniture, including artwork, gilt edges, romance and comfort... it had the lot. The Spa facilities were amazing. Pools, pools and more pools! Manicured grassed areas, intimate treed walkways, arches, marble, stone, statues, ponds and fountains. Just delightful. The staff were amazing as well. No English at reception, but they were quick with the translators. Definitely felt like a queen at this place. Location was a bit strange...half way between city centre and airport, the surrounds were primarily industrial, and main attractions were about 20 minutes away by Didi, but the price to convenience ratio was still good. Definitely recommend it, even if just for the furnishings!

It’s located right across the road from the Dianchi Lake and very close (within walking distance) to major tourist attractions in Kunming. This is a relatively small hotel with an elegant and relaxing ambiance. Rooms are beautifully furnished and very spacious. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of delicious options. The hotel restaurant offers an extensive menu for lunch and dinner and is open nonstop till late hours in the evening. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. In fact, we ate at the hotel restaurant all the time during our three-day visit in Kunming. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place, especially for leisure travelers who want to stay in a quiet area and be close to tourist attractions.

Staff at the hotel and hot spring are all very friendly and helpful. It would be great if buffet meal is offered for lunch and dinner. Overall, it’s a nice resort to relax and enjoy the hot springs.

MM291230****到的當晚覺得酒店裝修有些老舊 ，一些電氣設備會出現不能用的情況，但是當第二天拉開窗簾有被驚喜到，外面有泳池和高大的樹葉圍繞感覺像是在泰國。
另外就是小管家張葉萍的服務很貼心，我們入住時間太晚忘記詢問早餐時間，以至於錯過早餐，但是她聯繫了餐廳幫我們重新做了一份，服務態度超級棒的，早餐的米線和鮮花餅也很好吃，一直在和朋友説和我之前在大理吃過的不一樣，餐廳的鮮花餅更加鬆軟酥脆，內裏的玫瑰花蜜不是特別甜結合外皮，口感融合的剛剛好。雖然外表看起來一般般和普通的鮮花餅一樣，但是真的很推薦嘗試喔
