It was our first time visiting Kunming, and we chose to stay at this guesthouse villa with our family. Although there was a small hiccup upon arrival—our Didi driver wasn’t sure of the exact location and I didn’t have a local contact number—the staff quickly came to the rescue. The driver called the villa, and the friendly “Xiao Ge Ge” provided clear directions to help us find the place.
Throughout our stay, Xiao Ge Ge was incredibly helpful, sharing recommendations for local attractions via WeChat and even patiently showing us how to enter and exit the main gate so we could explore the area freely.
We also really enjoyed the warm breakfasts prepared by the kind “Ah Yi.” heartwarming noodles and porridge were delicious and made us feel right at home.
Our rooms were clean, tidy, and exceeded our expectations in comfort, truly making our stay relaxing and pleasant.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and welcoming guesthouse villa experience in Kunming!

We had an amazing stay at Kunming Haiyuan Boutique Homestay (Nanping Pedestrian Street). The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the pedestrian street, surrounded by great restaurants and amenities. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us with our luggage, booking a taxi, and making check-in and check-out super quick and easy. We especially loved the peaceful interior garden with its adorable cats and rabbits, which made the stay even more special.

BBlack LibertineEl hotel está situado a medio camino de la montaña y desde su habitación podrá contemplar el lago Dianchi. En realidad, la habitación no es muy grande, pero el patio privado es grande, donde puedes sumergirte en las aguas termales y disfrutar del paisaje. El ambiente es cómodo y agradable y el personal de servicio es sencillo y amigable. Vale la pena la experiencia de estadía. Si hablamos de las deficiencias, sólo hay algunos problemas con la ubicación del hervidor, lo que resulta incómodo de usar. Además, parece que no hay actividades ni instalaciones de ocio y entretenimiento en el hotel, lo que hace que la estancia sea un poco menos interesante. .

SSarah from ItalyThis was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

UUsuario invitadoOverall the hotel is good and clean. It is excellent location if you want take their high speed train to place like Dali Lijiang and etc.. But if you plan to travel around KunMing city, not advisable cause got few times Didi driver did not send us back to correct hotel as there is similar hotel name with this although we choosen correct location.

UUsuario invitadoOur stay at this guesthouse was the best we had during our trip around China. What made our stay so special was definitely the warm welcome we received from the owners. They made us feel immediately at home and upon our arrival they let us join a family dinner where we had the best home cooked food. I would definitely recommend this place and I will go here again if I visit Kunming in the future.

Mejoramos la habitación doble que habíamos reservado a una habitación cuádruple de forma gratuita. La cama era muy suave y cómoda para dormir. El albergue era único y estaba bellamente decorado. Antes de irnos, el jefe vio que estábamos cansados y nos dio una corona de flores. Fue una muy buena experiencia y una excelente relación calidad precio. Le deseo al jefe un negocio próspero🫶🏻Esta es la primera vez que espontáneamente quiero escribir una buena reseña.

UUsuario invitadoI arrived late and was helped by a friendly man in the reception. The hostel is close to the train station, which was important as I was leaving with an early train. Got a small breakfast to pack with me the next day (included). Fun to sleep in a pod and I slept well, the shower had both shampoo and conditioner, so happy with the amenities. However, the girls room smelled like urin, I couldn’t understand where it came from because it was not from my sheets, the smell was not inside the pod luckily, but somewhere in the room. I might have just been unlucky with the timing, arriving so late as well.

UUsuario invitadoLocation was good in that it was around a lot of shops and stores. Front desk people were helpful in answering any questions that I had. I felt like I didn't have much access to the kitchen in cooking my own stuff. Sometimes I was confused about whether it was okay to eat the food that the chef cooked or those meals were only for guest that paid for it. I appreciate the front desk people for loaning out their phone charger to me on a temporary basis when mine didn't work until I can get a new one.

UUsuario invitadoLa ubicación del alojamiento es bastante buena. Cerca de la estación de tren del norte y de la colina Yuantong, cerca de muchas atracciones turísticas importantes. El dueño es muy amable y ayuda en todo. Instalaciones completas Basura recogida todos los días. Los artículos de tocador se cambian todos los días. El alojamiento está limpio, hay muchos restaurantes y supermercados por aquí, en general se considera bueno. Me gustaría recomendar alojarse aquí.
