I would like to raise a concern regarding our stay on May 15. On the morning of May 15, we woke up to find that the floor was extremely wet, and we also noticed that a large area of the ceiling was wet, which strongly suggests there may have been a water leak. This situation was very concerning and made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. In addition, the air conditioning unit in our room was very noisy, which seriously disturbed our sleep. Our friend staying in another room experienced the same issue with the air-conditioning noise as well. We will be staying at your hotel again tomorrow, and we are worried that the same problems may happen again. Could you please arrange for your staff to inspect these issues as soon as possible and ensure that our room for the next stay will be in good condition, with no leakage and a quiet air-conditioning unit? Fantastic stay and real island getaway!  View and waters are amazing, food was included in our stay (breakfast and dinner) and there are many free activities to take part. The view are spectacular! The rooms were clean and spacious for 2 pax- can fit up to 4 pax.  Favorite activity was to fish from the lagoon and watch the baby shark (white shark) feeding at 1130am and chilling at the hammock infront of the rooms.  Massages are quality if you want some wave asmr as they are done in the outdoor huts but only can do 1 hour blocks and require quick booking/advance booking as the masseuses are limited.  wifi connections are good islandwise but it’s more of chillax resort. The rooms have netflix and youtube.  do bring some night snacks or simple lunch as their restaurants close early at 9pm and ferry out are only during the lunch time

Maayo Hotel in Cebu is our absolute go-to whenever we are in town to check on our projects. It is a wonderfully relaxing place to stay after a long, exhausting day on-site, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere that lets you properly unwind. What truly sets it apart, though, is their top-notch hospitality—the staff is consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Highly recommended!

The hotel is slightly dated, but overall cleanliness is fine. There is a noticeable humid smell when entering the room, and the toilet also has a slight odor. The shower has strong water pressure, which is good, but the water flow from the basin faucet is quite weak. Breakfast offers mostly Filipino dishes, with an egg station and a selection of bread. Night time downstair restaurant you can have your dinner and drinks but they close 10pm .

Fue muy decepcionante que no hubiera pantuflas ni toallas pequeñas. La ducha parecía estar en obras; le faltaba la mitad de la puerta, lo que provocaba que el agua se derramara sobre el lavabo, mojándolo todo. La ropa de lavandería se devuelve muy bien doblada, pero tarda un día, así que recomiendo entregarla con antelación. Los trajes de baño se secan rápido en el balcón. La piscina tenía varios tipos y era muy agradable. La piscina frente al hotel está abierta hasta la noche. Los niños estaban encantados. La comida del hotel estaba deliciosa. El personal era eficiente y muy amable. Los taxis Grab llegan rápido, lo que facilita ir a un gran supermercado a unos 20 minutos. Incluso al hacer el check-out sobre las 5:30 de la mañana, llegó un taxi Grab inmediatamente. Hay seguridad en la entrada del hotel y solo se permite el acceso a los huéspedes, así que nos sentimos seguros. Me gustaría volver a alojarme aquí cuando visite Filipinas. La playa privada era agradable porque no había nadie, pero estaba un poco sucia, así que no pude nadar en ella.

Reservé una noche para un tour de ida y vuelta y me quedé una noche más antes de ir al aeropuerto el último día. Nada más entrar, me recibió un olor a humedad y a bichos. Rocié Maxfosquel por todas partes, pensando que solo eran cucarachas. El aire acondicionado estaba cubierto de polvo, pero el olor a humedad me hizo encenderlo con los ojos cerrados. Por suerte, no vi ninguna cucaracha durante mis dos días de estancia, así que me registré y usé la piscina de la playa. Es un lugar con buena relación calidad-precio para alojarse después de un masaje el segundo día del tour de ida y vuelta y antes de ir al aeropuerto. Si no te vas a quedar mucho tiempo...

Un resort muy agradable con una pequeña playa, dos piscinas y algunos restaurantes y bares. Las habitaciones son bastante amplias y el desayuno estaba delicioso. Si quieres encontrar restaurantes o tiendas fuera del resort, tendrás que caminar un poco. El trayecto desde/hacia el aeropuerto dura aproximadamente 30 minutos en Grab.

Nos alojamos en el hotel por 3 días. Muy hospitalario, el personal es magnífico. Las habitaciones están limpias, el aire acondicionado funciona muy bien. El desayuno es bueno, pero en algunos lugares tendrás que esperar a que te entreguen la comida. solucionado rápidamente. Se puede ver y oír la construcción cerca del hotel, pero personalmente no me irritó ni me despertó, como dicen en las reseñas. El lado negativo es que el servicio en el restaurante y bar local es muy lento, faltan la mitad de los platos del menú y los precios son mucho más altos que en los restaurantes vecinos. Hablando de restaurantes, hay lugares normales cerca, pero para llegar a ellos tendrás que caminar o tomar un taxi, al menos 750 metros por la carretera pasando por barrios marginales y obras en construcción. Una política muy extraña con respecto a la comida “propia” traída desde fuera del hotel (se espera un cargo por descorche de 250 pesos), esto estaría bien si al menos de alguna manera se llenara la variedad del restaurante y la tienda local. La playa está formada por pequeños guijarros, cercada por el mar casi hasta el final por boyas que llegan hasta las rodillas. Entiendo que esto es típico de Cebú, pero tenlo en cuenta de todos modos. Para su información: se requiere un depósito de 2000 pesos por día por cada habitación o mediante tarjeta de crédito.

Location is good - walkable to restaurants a lot of them are Korean-owned which reflects higher prices except for Filipino-themed cuisine. Hotel rates are higher so I expected a higher level of service however, I was deeply shocked that when I asked for a bucket of ice, they said they charge P100. I am a traveler from the US and my job exposes me to travel usually 3 to 5 star hotels this hotel pretends to be a four-star hotel but the shocking charge of 100 pesos which is less than two dollars. It’s just so ridiculous. It leaves a bad memory of this hotel for me. I think they are monetizing every little thing and that does not make them classy. We were in a group of four, and we also went to the dinner at patio Gavino rooftop and took the Buffet for 1000 pesos per person, but the selection was limited. It was just a good place to experience being on the rooftop however I have been eating out literally every day in my five weeks trip to the Philippines so I can compare prices the 1000 pesos was not justified maybe more appropriate for 600 pesos per person because there was nothing great about the food selection. I also went in the pool and it was a great four hours of swimming, but considering that they catered to a lot of tourist they should extend their full hours to at least until 10 PM because it is super hot in the Philippines. I can’t understand why they have short pool hours when that is really the main attraction of the hotel. What is great though is there bathroom which is air-conditioned and pretty clean to take showers the breakfast is also pretty good and we had complementary breakfast for two days. The staff were great, but I cannot forget the 100 peso charge for ice this hotel should install ice machines in each floor since that is a big necessity considering how hot it is so for the owners I wish you would reconsider your business way of doing things and trying not to charge every little thing. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I do not want or believe I need to go back to your hotel.

We spent a lovely family holiday at Solea Seaview Resort during the Chinese New Year break and had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming. Our room was a good size, in reasonable condition, with clean bed linen and towels. The balcony offered a beautiful sea view, which we truly appreciated every day. Breakfast was also very nice, with a wide variety of food options to choose from. The absolute highlight for us was the number of swimming pools and the fantastic aquapark — free of charge for guests — plus a trampoline area for a small additional fee. The children absolutely loved it! The hotel also encourages guests to leave reviews, and as a lovely compliment, my son received free access to the children’s playroom — such a thoughtful touch. The beach is not the most Instagrammable, but the sea was perfectly fine for swimming practice. One small downside was that the gym operates only from 8am to 8pm, so late-night training isn’t possible if that’s your preference. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 — good value for money and a great option for a family holiday.
