I had such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt comfortable, welcoming, and well taken care of. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and professional throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist whenever we needed something, and their warm attitude really made a difference. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a relaxing stay. Everything was well maintained, and the bed was especially comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day. I also appreciated how clean the bathroom and other areas of the room were. You can really tell that the hotel puts effort into maintaining a good standard of cleanliness. The location was also convenient, making it easy for us to get around and access nearby places. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What I appreciated most was the overall service. Sometimes a hotel can have beautiful rooms, but it’s the staff and the little details that really make the experience memorable. Here, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. Any questions or requests we had were handled politely and efficiently. Overall, I’m very happy with our stay and would definitely consider coming back again. It was a comfortable, pleasant, and stress-free experience from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with friendly staff and great service. We visited Cebu's second best premium hotel over the weekend to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday quietly. The room was pleasant, but the wooden floor tiles occasionally felt hollow, indicating there might be an issue. I requested butler service, yet it took several hours and multiple follow-ups, which was disappointing for a five-star hotel. The breakfast was underwhelming, especially considering Fili Hotel, a more affordable and superior option than Nustar. I didn't enjoy their breakfast at all. The pools were under renovation; fortunately, one was available for swimming with the kids, but it would have been better if all facilities were operational. Overall, the hotel's readiness seemed lacking, and the staff appeared passive. During check-in, the staff's attitude was unhelpful; the lady was stressed and didn't explain breakfast details or hours, merely handing over the key. I likely won't stay at Nustar again and would prefer Fili if I return. For family stays, I recommend Fili over Nustar.

This hotel really is the Oasis you need after the hussle and bustle of Cebu. The rooms are BIG, Clean and the pools are fantastic. Like everywhere in the Philippines service and staff are 10/10. The staff are sweet and can not do enough for you The beach at this Hotel is man made but the landscape and pools really make it special. Its perfect for a 2 night stay where you do not want to leave the hotel. The surroundings are pretty desolate. But the sheraton has everything you need for luxury, food options and relaxation. Also they play great R&B around the pool

Buen hotel, pero lamentablemente no hay agua caliente, solo agua tibia en el mejor de los casos. Al llegar, me dijeron que la piscina no estaba disponible debido al mantenimiento, que es muy deficiente y no me lo informaron al reservar. Además, estaban haciendo obras encima de mi habitación, lo que generó mucho ruido desde las 7 de la mañana, lo cual fue muy molesto. El personal es increíble, muy amable y servicial, y la comida y el servicio fueron excelentes.

Bonito y pequeño hotel. CR demasiado pequeño. El bueno: Personal agradable. Check-in sin problemas. No se requiere depósito por ”daños”. Limpiar zonas comunes y habitación limpia. Buena cama y ropa de cama. Toallas limpias. Gran flujo de agua caliente para la ducha. Caja de seguridad en hab. TV por cable con buena selección de canales. Aire acondicionado silencioso. Pensando en el Medio Ambiente con procedimiento de reutilización de ”toallas” y embalaje reducido (Se proporciona jarra de agua para llenar con dispensador en el pasillo, dispensadores de jabón de manos, gel de baño y champú). Buen desayuno filipino servido en un pequeño restaurante con condimentos. Ubicación conveniente para visitar el hospital Chong Hua. Zona cercana Parada de taxis. Camine hasta Robinsons Fuente y McDo. El malo: Tazas, pero no tetera. Pequeño CR donde la entrada de 2 personas es imposible, incluso con coreografía. La caja fuerte de la habitación es muy pequeña. Sin frigorífico. Sin tapete CR. El feo: Niños de la calle durmiendo a la intemperie, muy cerca del Hotel. La punta: Pide una habitación donde el WiFi sea bueno. La conclusión: Buen valor para el dinero. Lo suficientemente bueno como para volver. -- fin --

Fantastic stay and real island getaway!  View and waters are amazing, food was included in our stay (breakfast and dinner) and there are many free activities to take part. The view are spectacular! The rooms were clean and spacious for 2 pax- can fit up to 4 pax.  Favorite activity was to fish from the lagoon and watch the baby shark (white shark) feeding at 1130am and chilling at the hammock infront of the rooms.  Massages are quality if you want some wave asmr as they are done in the outdoor huts but only can do 1 hour blocks and require quick booking/advance booking as the masseuses are limited.  wifi connections are good islandwise but it’s more of chillax resort. The rooms have netflix and youtube.  do bring some night snacks or simple lunch as their restaurants close early at 9pm and ferry out are only during the lunch time

Fue muy decepcionante que no hubiera pantuflas ni toallas pequeñas. La ducha parecía estar en obras; le faltaba la mitad de la puerta, lo que provocaba que el agua se derramara sobre el lavabo, mojándolo todo. La ropa de lavandería se devuelve muy bien doblada, pero tarda un día, así que recomiendo entregarla con antelación. Los trajes de baño se secan rápido en el balcón. La piscina tenía varios tipos y era muy agradable. La piscina frente al hotel está abierta hasta la noche. Los niños estaban encantados. La comida del hotel estaba deliciosa. El personal era eficiente y muy amable. Los taxis Grab llegan rápido, lo que facilita ir a un gran supermercado a unos 20 minutos. Incluso al hacer el check-out sobre las 5:30 de la mañana, llegó un taxi Grab inmediatamente. Hay seguridad en la entrada del hotel y solo se permite el acceso a los huéspedes, así que nos sentimos seguros. Me gustaría volver a alojarme aquí cuando visite Filipinas. La playa privada era agradable porque no había nadie, pero estaba un poco sucia, así que no pude nadar en ella.

There is a massive stone fireplace that burns all day, surrounded by mismatched leather armchairs, stacks of vintage board games, and a self-serve tea station with local honey. The Lighting: You won't find a single harsh, white bulb here. Everything is soft amber, candlelight, and the amber glow of Edison bulbs, which instantly coaxes your brain into relaxation mode. The Room: A Sanctuary of Comfort The bed deserves its own dedicated review. Layered with crisp linen sheets, a heavy down comforter, and a chunky knit weighted blanket, it felt like sleeping inside a cloud. [ Window Seat with Forest View ] | [ Velvet Armchair ] ---- [ Stone Hearth / Gas Fireplace ] | [ King Bed w/ Down Comforter ] Every detail in the room was designed to slow you down: The Nook: A deep, velvet window seat packed with plush pillows, perfectly positioned to watch the morning mist roll over the tree line. The Bath: A deep, freestanding copper soaking tub. They provide small jars of handmade cedarwood and lavender bath salts that made the entire room smell like a woodland spa. The Details: No plastic water bottles or generic tech. Instead, there was a vintage-style Marshall Bluetooth speaker playing soft acoustic jazz when we walked in, a ceramic electric kettle, and freshly baked shortbread cookies waiting on a ceramic plate.

It's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.
