Hoteles en Cebú con balcón

Un buen hotel a un minuto de la costa: puedes correr y hacer snorkel rápidamente. Hubo un problema al momento del check-in: la cisterna del inodoro no funcionaba, era casi imposible de usar. Ofrecieron una palangana con un cucharón, lo cual no ayudó mucho, y cuando les preguntaron sobre el cambio de habitación dijeron que estaban completos. La gerente intentó arreglarlo con sus propias manos, pero no funcionó y nos sugirieron que fuéramos al baño de la habitación de al lado. Cuando se les preguntó por qué no podíamos mudarnos allí, dijeron que era una salida anticipada y que aún no lo habían limpiado. Media hora después limpiaron y se mudaron. Si no fuera por esta situación, en general sería un buen hotel. Toman 1000 pesos como depósito y lo devuelven sin problemas. Renté una mascarilla por el día por 100 pesos.

Ubicación: Relativamente cerca del aeropuerto, a unos 20 minutos, pero no hay restaurantes, salones de belleza ni centros comerciales alrededor del hotel. En días lluviosos o cuando vayas a un centro comercial a comprar recuerdos, te recomendamos utilizar un coche Grab (por cierto, el coche Grab desde el aeropuerto hasta el hotel cuesta unos 1.500 yenes). Habitación: tipo cabaña, lo cual es poco común en la isla de Mactán. Incluso el tipo básico es bastante espacioso y tiene una cabina de ducha y una bañera (es una pena que la cabina de ducha no drene muy bien). Tenía una Nespresso (cafetera de cápsulas) y 4 cápsulas, y en la nevera había 2 botellas de San Miguel (cerveza filipina), 2 botellas de zumo y mangos secos. Estos eran gratis. Había chanclas disponibles como pantuflas, pero si no te gustan las chanclas, te recomendamos comprar pantuflas desechables de Hyakuyen y traerlas contigo. Había un colgador de toallas en el balcón, pero no alcanzaba para secar los bañadores mojados, así que creo que sería mejor traer un colgador de alambre, un colgador cuadrado, un pellizco y una cuerda para lavar ropa. (Hay servicio de lavandería, pero no había lavadoras ni secadoras en el hotel.) Pueden entrar pequeños insectos, por lo que es mejor tener un insecticida simple (no se permiten aerosoles en el equipaje de mano ni en el equipaje facturado). tal vez. Instalaciones: Hay dos piscinas, una de las cuales es una piscina infinita. Aunque era un poco estrecha, había una playa privada donde se podían ver peces nadando. Creo que los zapatos marinos son imprescindibles ya que la arena es rugosa y rocosa. Se pueden alquilar snorkel, chalecos salvavidas y kayaks de mar de forma gratuita. (Snorkeling sólo una vez al día). También se realizaron actividades como motos de agua y paseos en banana boat. El club infantil tenía una gran instalación de juegos interior (de esas que se ven a menudo en los centros comerciales) (no sé mucho sobre el programa porque no lo he usado). También hubo actividades gratuitas como aquabic y vóley playa. Por la mañana te entregan en tu habitación una copia impresa que contiene estos horarios, pero el horario es bastante vago (creo que es típico de Filipinas que sea flexible). Puede que fuera temporada baja, pero puedo aceptar que algunos restaurantes estaban cerrados, algunos salones de belleza y gimnasios estaban cerrados y la tienda tenía una selección muy limitada. Servicio: Me alegra que el personal siempre me salude cuando paso. No es que tengan un servicio particularmente de alta calidad, pero como eso no era lo que estaba buscando, quedé más que satisfecho con el precio.

This is a hidden gem and we highly recommend this resort! Pros: - It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel! - Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people. - Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless. - I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help. Cons: - The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours. - The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences. - The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby. - Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort, and overall, it was a beautiful experience. The resort itself is well-maintained, with lovely landscaping and comfortable amenities. The serene setting really enhances the overall experience, making it a great place to unwind for a two-night stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the friendly staff. From the reception to the poolside attendants, everyone was warm and welcoming. The pool guys were particularly nice, adding to the relaxed vibe of the resort. However, I did find that the food needs significant improvement. While the dining options were ample, the quality and variety fell short of expectations. To truly enhance the guest experience, I believe that more attention to the menu and food preparation is necessary. This aspect would play a crucial role in my decision to return. Another area that requires attention is the communication regarding trips and activities. Unfortunately, we often found ourselves headed to the wrong locations, only to be redirected to another part of the island. Clearer information about where to go for excursions would be greatly beneficial for guests. In summary, Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a beautiful destination with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. However, improvements in food quality and clearer communication regarding activities are essential for a more satisfying experience. With these adjustments, I could see myself returning, as the stunning views and peaceful environment are truly commendable.

Reservamos las 4 noches en el hotel porque está a poca distancia del centro comercial Robinson y de otros restaurantes. Reservamos el hotel principalmente para dormir, porque nuestros tours comenzaban muy temprano en la mañana. La reserva incluye el desayuno, pero como salimos para realizar excursiones antes de que abra el desayuno, el personal nos preparó amablemente sándwiches y cafés todos los días para llevar. La habitación está limpia y es cómoda como en las fotografías. Reservaría este hotel la próxima vez. Por cierto, recomendamos el masaje tailandés Thewi cerca de allí.

Este lugar es maravilloso. El personal es agradable. La tienda de dives en el interior es grande. La ubicación es buena. Calma en la noche, pero también segura.

I love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect. They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball. Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from. There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite. Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby. They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room. I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it.

Recommend for families who want quiet place. Nice pool and very nice access to the sea. We had very good relaxing time.Location is far from central part and Cebu, but there is NewTown Mactan not far by taxi. The only thing that need to be improved is the food. Breakfast menu variety and food taste doesn't match with resort. Need to have better chef and personnel in live cooking station. Vegies not well washed or not fresh. Food taste frankly speaking is awful. It doesn't worth the money paid .If food is improved I definitely stay again there

I like how the hotel receptionist are warm and welcoming. The room is also clean and spacious. A suggestion is that there should be a slipper and towel for guest. And bell should be alert whenever there are guest arriving specially if they have many and heavy things because when we arrive for check in it was just us ladies who pushed the cart and mind you it has stairs to enter the front desk. A little kindness won’t hurt. Overall place was nice just put effort on customer service. That would really help.
