We stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable. From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip. All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable. We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding. A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!). The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special. Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.

The hotel was easy to find and had ample parking, which made arrival really convenient. Check in was smooth with a proper check in counter available and having Bila Bila Mart nearby was a nice bonus for grabbing anything we needed. There’s also a swimming pool and gym, the pool was a little crowded during our stay but the gym had plenty of space and was well equipped with the basic equipment you’d need for a workout. One thing I particularly liked about the room was that the shower and toilet areas were separated which made the bathroom feel much more practical and comfortable to use

Spent a night here. The location is average, but there are plenty of parking spots available. There’s even a 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient. They’re very strict about checkout time, they even called and WhatsApped to remind me 😅. Room was cozy and comfortable overall.

Stayed at Hotel 1969 and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were polite and kind throughout our stay, especially the concierge, who also acted as our airport transfer driver. Although I did not get his name, he was very responsible and ensured we arrived at the airport on time. We also enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading off, which was perfect and satisfying. The hotel location is very convenient, with many coffeeshops nearby. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely return again.

Nos alojamos en la habitación superior. Encontré un par de pelos en la ducha y la tubería del lavabo tenía una fuga. Como no había muchos invitados, el nivel de ruido era bueno, pero se notaba que las paredes son delgadas. El personal es lo suficientemente servicial cuando se le pregunta, pero no es proactivo ni amigable. En medio de la nada, pero en todas partes hay un corto trayecto en Grab (demasiado lejos para caminar).

Mi estancia en Dawa Brickhouse superó mis expectativas. La habitación era excepcionalmente limpia, acogedora y bien mantenida, con todo lo que se ofrece para una estancia cómoda. La zona alrededor era hermosa y tranquila.. Vale la pena, y definitivamente volvería 😍😍😍

¡Este hotel es muy recomendable! Al principio tenía mis dudas tras ver tantas buenas reseñas, pero tras registrarme, puedo confirmar que en este hotel el cliente es lo primero. Mi familia y yo vinimos de viaje a Ipoh desde Johor Bahru y llegamos al hotel una o dos horas antes de la hora prevista (hora de entrada: 15:00). Para mi sorpresa, nos permitieron entrar antes, lo cual fue genial porque estaba un poco cansado después de conducir varias horas. El servicio de recepción fue muy amable, la habitación estaba muy limpia y la limpiaban a diario, el desayuno también estuvo bien, hay aparcamiento privado con guardias de seguridad, pero el espacio es un poco limitado y suele estar lleno, así que no me extraña que tanta gente recomiende este hotel. ¡Un precio muy económico que merece la pena!

Worth the price you pay! Great location, just beside the highway. Everything is clean, aircond was functioning well, the room is nice. It’s just that the small fridge is not functioning and the water pressure is kinda slow. But I don’t really mind. The front desk was also nice. I will reconsider staying at this hotel again for a short staycation.

Overall Rating: ★★★☆☆ The apartment's biggest advantage is its excellent location. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and shopping options within walking distance, making it very convenient for families and larger groups. The host was responsive and replied promptly when we raised issues during our stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance of the property fell well below our expectations. We encountered ants throughout the apartment—including the living room, sofa, dining area, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms—which made it difficult to enjoy our stay. Although the host provided insect spray after we reported the issue, the infestation was so widespread that spraying the entire apartment was neither practical nor a comfortable solution. Several areas were dusty, the curtains had a noticeable layer of dust, and the bedsheets and toilet rolls appeared old. We were also charged RM60 for an extra bedsheet for two nights, but the condition of the bedding did not justify the additional fee. The sofa showed signs of wear, and one of the ceiling fans was noisy during operation. For larger groups, please note that when someone showers upstairs, the downstairs bathroom cannot be used properly due to water pressure issues. We were informed that this affects every unit in the building, suggesting it is a known issue rather than an isolated incident. The facilities were also disappointing. The jacuzzi was unavailable during our stay and appeared to be non-functional, making it more decorative than usable. The host initially agreed to compensate us for the cleaning fee due to the cleanliness issues, but we did not receive any further update after that. Overall, the apartment has great potential because of its strategic location, but significant improvements in cleanliness, pest control, maintenance, and facility upkeep are needed before I could recommend it to others. Pros Excellent location with many restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. Responsive communication from the host. Cons Widespread ant infestation throughout the apartment. Dusty environment, including dusty curtains. Old bedsheets, worn furniture, and additional bedding charges that did not reflect the quality provided. Noisy ceiling fan. Water pressure issue prevents simultaneous use of upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Jacuzzi was not usable, just a decoration. Compensation for the cleaning issue was promised but never followed up.

PROs: Cute and clean unit. Perfect for a group stay in Ipoh. Located near the town; able to reach by car within 5-10mins. Everything in the unit is working properly except the WiFi. There’s even a washer for laundry. Recommend to bring your own toiletries and laundry detergent. Overall it’s a great place for quick getaway. CONs: Bad building management, which is no fault of the unit owner. Rude security guards, unclear signage both inside and outside of the parking lots, even worst is the wretched traffic management. If you are driving and parking in this building, I suggest you go slow and take your time looking out at the signage, lest you fall victim to their management’s ridiculous rules. This was my second stay at The Anderson condo, while I knew from the first stay that their parking lots had poor lighting and signage, I’m surprised that it can get worse.
