«Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa en el Lex Hotel Cebu del 4 al 7 de septiembre. Uno de los momentos más destacados fue, sin duda, el desayuno buffet: impresionante, con una gran variedad de opciones. Desde ensaladas de verduras frescas, puto sikwate y platos principales como lechón y ternera, hasta estaciones de cocina en vivo donde se puede pedir pasta o tortillas, además de una amplia variedad de panes, croissants y postres. Fue la manera perfecta de empezar el día. Como huéspedes habituales, también agradecimos el amable detalle de recibir cupones para bebidas gratis y una partida de billar. Nos hizo sentir valorados y bienvenidos. El personal merece una mención especial: fueron muy atentos, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y facilitaron cualquier petición. Tuvimos un par de pequeños inconvenientes: en nuestra habitación se oía algo de ruido del tráfico, aunque se hizo soportable después de un rato. El aparcamiento del sótano también era un poco estrecho, especialmente para vehículos grandes como nuestra Ford Ranger. Afortunadamente, el personal siempre estuvo ahí para guiarnos en las maniobras, lo que lo hizo más llevadero. En general, el Lex Hotel Cebu sigue siendo una excelente opción con un servicio excelente, comida deliciosa y una cálida hospitalidad. Con gusto nos alojaremos aquí de nuevo.»

GGioTAll bookings at Nustar Resort include breakfast and access to the Executive Club Lounge located on the 23rd floor of Fili Hotel. Mini-Bar is complimentary with a selection of 2 local beers, juices, and sodas. Nespresso machine with 4 capsules. TWG tea. Bottled water is unlimited. I appreciate the fridge being very cold. Gerlain Paris branded bathroom amenities, as well as bath salts for the large bath. Afternoon Tea (2:30 pm - 4:30 pm) Light snacks with a limited selection of savory and sweet bites, they need to improve on this. Evening cocktails and canapés (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm) Excellent food buffet. I like the lechon quesadillas, jalapeño cheese poppers, and siomai. I appreciate the bartender crafting cocktails from a menu of drinks. I understand the hotel is still brand new, but they need to do multiple inspections before releasing the room to guest. Vanity mirror was dusty from construction. The Butler service was very attentive, many thanks to Ice (Butler) for making my stay pleasant, he would escort me to the pool, and even breakfast buffet at Fili Hotel bypassing the crowd at the entrance. Breakfast Buffet is at Fili Hotel which is extensive and one of the best in Cebu. The problem is the crowd, while Nustar Butlers will escort Nustar guests to a table, there’s no dedicated tables for Nustar guests, which confuses the restaurant staff with seating assignments. Alternatively, the breakfast buffet at the executive club lounge is quiet but with limited options, they should have an a la carte menu to expand options like other international luxury hotels. The security at the lobby entrance is wildly inconvenient and inconsistent, every time you enter you need to prove you’re a guest of Nustar and not a guest of Fili or a casino player. It’s weird that they are sometimes overly strict and many times just ignore people passing by. Guests have a keycard to use elevators what’s the point of the guards that have a list of people’s names and room numbers, if anything that’s a security risk. The pool service is lacking. Shared between 2 hotels and the upcoming grand summit. The pool area lacks service of a 5-star hotel, towels need to be claimed at a towel hut. My expectation is that there are staff that will setup loungers with towels for guests. And since the pool facility is shared with the muncher large Fili Hotel it can get crowded. Fortunately, Nustar has a private infinity pool which was closed my stay. Nustar Resort has potential to be Cebu’s most luxurious hotel, they have the hard product with their spacious luxurious rooms, but they need to improve their soft product - the service from the butlers are outstanding and personal, but everyone else seems to be lost. For the asking price of 250-300 usd per night there’s a lot to expect. Nustar is primed for excellence but falls just short of achieving refined luxury. I’m hoping Nustar partners with Marriott and rebrand under Luxury Collection. Or even Hyatt with Unbound Collection.

UUsuario invitadoWe stayed at the Shanghai-La Mactan Cebu for a week. The resort is absolutely gorgeous with incredible employees- everyone is helpful and courteous. The resort has multiple daily activities including snorkeling which were great. We tried most of the restaurants and they were great! Acqua which was Italian was tasty ; Buko Bar was also yummy! Highly recommended for a relaxing hotel with good pools and calm environment.

The resort is one of the best I've experienced in this part of asia, in terms of the food, room quality, all the hardware and service as well. Aloher was super friendly and very helpful, the front office staff were all kind and warm too. Breakfast was excellent, but might need greater variety in the fruit section. Location was slightly off the beaten track but the private beach as a result was perfect.

BBeverly J. BeverleyWe love Nustar so much! This is probably our 5th time here! Stayed here from Nov 5 to 7 as it’s Mine and my bros bday and it was after Typhoon Tino. As always they are very accomodating, friendly and helpful and gave me a piece of cake and fruit bowl but this time I ask for a happy birthday note on the monitor for background pic for me & entire family as celebration but they keep telling me they will send someone up but no one really came from the IT department . I did expect a happy birthday greeting on the monitor it would have been very special, but I understand as maybe they are so busy and under staff because of the typhoon and instead of 2 pm check and we were able to check in very late like 5:30 pm because they’re probably under staffs but all of these did not ruin our overall stay as new star staffs are all very welcoming. We had birthday dinner in the good luck hotpot which is just inside Nustar as well. Thank you Nustar for being very welcoming , friendly and hand on chest when Greeting guest is such a Nustar trademark  please trade me a guest feel welcome and at home

GGordonThis is a hidden gem and we highly recommend this resort! Pros: - It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel! - Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people. - Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless. - I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help. Cons: - The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours. - The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences. - The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby. - Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

YYasuyoshiUbicación: Relativamente cerca del aeropuerto, a unos 20 minutos, pero no hay restaurantes, salones de belleza ni centros comerciales alrededor del hotel. En días lluviosos o cuando vayas a un centro comercial a comprar recuerdos, te recomendamos utilizar un coche Grab (por cierto, el coche Grab desde el aeropuerto hasta el hotel cuesta unos 1.500 yenes). Habitación: tipo cabaña, lo cual es poco común en la isla de Mactán. Incluso el tipo básico es bastante espacioso y tiene una cabina de ducha y una bañera (es una pena que la cabina de ducha no drene muy bien). Tenía una Nespresso (cafetera de cápsulas) y 4 cápsulas, y en la nevera había 2 botellas de San Miguel (cerveza filipina), 2 botellas de zumo y mangos secos. Estos eran gratis. Había chanclas disponibles como pantuflas, pero si no te gustan las chanclas, te recomendamos comprar pantuflas desechables de Hyakuyen y traerlas contigo. Había un colgador de toallas en el balcón, pero no alcanzaba para secar los bañadores mojados, así que creo que sería mejor traer un colgador de alambre, un colgador cuadrado, un pellizco y una cuerda para lavar ropa. (Hay servicio de lavandería, pero no había lavadoras ni secadoras en el hotel.) Pueden entrar pequeños insectos, por lo que es mejor tener un insecticida simple (no se permiten aerosoles en el equipaje de mano ni en el equipaje facturado). tal vez. Instalaciones: Hay dos piscinas, una de las cuales es una piscina infinita. Aunque era un poco estrecha, había una playa privada donde se podían ver peces nadando. Creo que los zapatos marinos son imprescindibles ya que la arena es rugosa y rocosa. Se pueden alquilar snorkel, chalecos salvavidas y kayaks de mar de forma gratuita. (Snorkeling sólo una vez al día). También se realizaron actividades como motos de agua y paseos en banana boat. El club infantil tenía una gran instalación de juegos interior (de esas que se ven a menudo en los centros comerciales) (no sé mucho sobre el programa porque no lo he usado). También hubo actividades gratuitas como aquabic y vóley playa. Por la mañana te entregan en tu habitación una copia impresa que contiene estos horarios, pero el horario es bastante vago (creo que es típico de Filipinas que sea flexible). Puede que fuera temporada baja, pero puedo aceptar que algunos restaurantes estaban cerrados, algunos salones de belleza y gimnasios estaban cerrados y la tienda tenía una selección muy limitada. Servicio: Me alegra que el personal siempre me salude cuando paso. No es que tengan un servicio particularmente de alta calidad, pero como eso no era lo que estaba buscando, quedé más que satisfecho con el precio.

JJOJO RAFAELESStayed for 2 nights with my family — our first time to try the new building/wing — and it truly exceeded our expectations. We were given two adjacent rooms with a common access area, making it feel like we were staying in our own private suite. The rooms were impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. The pool view from our rooms was soothing and relaxing, setting the perfect tone for a family getaway. Breakfast at the 12th floor was a delightful experience. We used to dine at Abalone in the OJ Wing during previous stays, but this time was extra special — great variety, excellent food quality, and warm, attentive staff who made the morning even more pleasant. The service throughout the resort was consistently exceptional — from check-in, housekeeping, and dining staff, everyone was courteous, welcoming, and always ready to help. Facilities are well-maintained, and the entire environment truly makes it feel like a premium family vacation destination. Highly recommended for family bonding and leisure. JJesse AcasoI'm kinda disappointed in my stay here because the fact that I compared this branch with Panglao branch, so i was expecting the same amenities. The service were the same all smiles to all the customers but I'm disappointed for the amenities because my room doesn't have hot shower and the building needs for detailed upgrade. I booked on this building as I was hoping it's newly renovated the place was new however some furniture way outdated and needs a more thorough upgrade. Love the earth restaurant still 🩷🧡💛
