Este hotel de color Provencal es tranquilo y sin ruido incluso al aire libre, y ofrece habitaciones agradables para vivir en el centro de la ciudad. La cama es cómoda e inmecante. La máquina de café y las bebidas suaves (cerveza, soda, etc.) en el frigorífico se ofrecen gratuitamente por primera vez. El restaurante ofrece un menú interesante y variado, y su zona exterior es muy agradable. La terraza debajo del árbol de lima de tres siglos, la mascota del hotel, ya no está disponible. Esto debe corregirse, ya que la ubicación sombría es ideal para almorzar y cenar en verano. Situado a 30 minutos en coche del aeropuerto de Zúrich y en las afueras de la antigua ciudad histórica de Baden en las orillas del río Limmat, a poca distancia del hotel, este establecimiento merece una visita.

Hoteles en Baden: Este hotel está situado en el centro de Baden, a 10 minutos a pie. Habitaciones muy espaciosas y bien curadas en los detalles. Bella terraza en el techo para tomar el aperitivo. Bueno también el desayuno no es enorme pero sin embargo hubo una buena elección pecado falta la trinchera el domingo. Personal muy amable y excelente precio

A wonderful stay in a unique and historic hotel. Every bedroom is different and you enter through sound proof doors on the indoor balcony. Spotlessly clean and cool rooms. Bird song fills the atrium. We did not eat in the restaurant but had a substantial breakfast. No indoor bar, but drinks outside the front door.Car parking is around the corner 5-7 mins in a public car park. At the time we were there, the building next door was being renovated, so building noise is inevitable. A quirky but very enjoyable experience.

I would like to inform people when booking online for this hotel and Spar that you may not end up in the historical beautiful old hotel we thought we were booked into when booking online! We were directed to a modern hotel away from Spar which sadly was not up to standard. And certainly not a Boutique Spar! We felt misrepresented and very upset as we had travelled three and half hours to get there from home! My sister was visiting from SAfrica and I wanted to surprise and spoil her with a Spar get away! The Reception staff were welcoming and had helped us with directions as even our GPS coordinates were taking us around the block several times. Speaking to the Receptionist, she informed us that we were in fact not staying in the Historical building but their other sister hotel and this was why we could not recognize the hotel! We were looking for the Historical building that we had viewed on the website and booked! Interesting to note that several other guests experienced the exactly same issue! However based on our feeling of misrepresentation and the sub standard hotel, we were not willing to stay there, so we left! We were informed that we would not receive a refund of nearly 1500 francs for our three day stay! This hotel was far from up to standard! Floors dirty, scratches snd scuff marks all over the floor, hardly any furniture, just generally a very shabby appearance! The room had two camp beds ( it looked like) pushed together, with thin mattresses!! The curtain was too short and looked shrunken! I can honestly say it was not a place that I would choose in the first place and my booking was based on the other views of a beautiful looking old character hotel! We loved the look of the Spar inside the buildings, with lovely photos showing a really welcoming pleasant look and experience! There was also not hotel parking! One would need to walk a distance to get to the Spar which for us was the main purpose of our visit!! I feel it only right to inform others when booking on the online site that you may very well experience same problem as us! All in all a very disappointing experience!! We ended up driving another three and half hours home !!

We were on the 12th floor of this strange tower block hotel with a great view of Baden, but there was no air conditioning and the fan was all floppy so we had to hold it up with a prop. The room was not super clean. There was a kettle but only one cup and one tea bag for two people. When I went to reception for more tea bags the guy on reception was trying to serve a whole bunch of people in the restaurant and forgot about me. Resources are spread too thin. Back to the room: most of the UK channels on the list of available channels to watch did not work. Breakfast was not great. Processed ham and cheese portions on separate plates wrapped with cling film. No one present to serve coffee - had to go and find someone in the restaurant on the floor below. There was no cooked breakfast. My husband asked for scrambled egg and the answer was « No because of Covid ». We could not see the connection between Covid and scrambled egg. Staff were friendly, however.
