UUsuario invitadoThe room is big with all the amenities. Our room is facing the sea, we were able to see the sun rise, super gorgeous! The onsen is also great, free for us, and it is open to the public with surcharge. The hostel location is 10/10, close to the Aoshima island, and there is a big park nearby! We enjoyed our stay.

UUsuario invitadoWe stayed for 2 nights, excellent location & amenities. Room was spacious, clean and very modern. USB ports available next to bed, fully functional room. Bed and pillows were soft & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent; both qualities and selection. Paid car parking just behind hotel, at reasonable flat rate per nite. We love to use the JR hotels, the hotels are always at strategic location and highly rated.

We booked half board which was worthwhile as the food quality was great and especially when restaurants close early within the area, saved us looking for dinner. However, there are a few time slots we need to abide to, which is fine as attractions usually are closed by late afternoon anyway.
There is onsen in this accommodation, but it's not big. Enclosed onsen with no external views, and the water has some medical component added thus making the water reddish which may deter guests not accustomed to the color.
The Ryokan location is convenient for walking to a few attractions (for those who enjoy walking about 15-30mins to either attraction), which include Takachiho Kagura performance (pre-booking required), Takachiho Gorge, Takachiho Amaterasu Railway - scenic train ride.
Do note the train rides cannot be pre-booked, and end by 3PM in the afternoon.
And Takachiho Gorge Boat Rental should be pre-booked, with time slot bookings open 7 days before.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel is beautiful and it has great amenities (top restaurants including a high ranked steakhouse,, an amazing bakery, a gym, hot spring, laundry room and several stores including a kimono rental store. The hotel is located close to malls and the subway station. The staff are very kind and are always willing to assist even if they are not proficient in English . The breakfast buffet is also great and was included in my reservation. Visiting the steakhouse is a must , it is a tad pricey but worth the expenditure. Miyazaki is known for its beef and chicken. My only negative comment pertains to showers in the standard rooms (there are three kinds of rooms). The showers are very dated, have a weird smell and the shower heads are what you would normally find in a bathroom from the 70s. The rooms are spacious and clean. However, if I had known the showers and tub were so old I would have upgraded to a deluxe room. Overall the hotel is great and it is well priced for its amenities.

UUsuario anónimoEl hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, a pocas paradas se encuentra el autobús para el aeropuerto y viceversa, a una distancia a pie a la estación Miyazaki y a la estación Miyazaki Minami, si no quieres caminar, hay opción de tomar el autobús a ambas estaciones. La calle de compras de Tachibana y su vecindario están cerca.

UUsuario invitadoThe Single room is very spacious and the bed( small double)is consider big for one person. The hotel spa is superb and breakfast is sumptuous. You must try their weekend buffet, the spread and quality of food is good.
The only thing I find weird is that all guest must changed to the slipper the hotel provided to move around within the facilities. Anyway, overall experience is good.

EElleCWe originally booked one of the newer renovated rooms but when we changed dates, only rooms in the “separate” building were available. Was a bit worried the rooms in the separate building would be very old and dingy but pleasantly surprised to have a comfortable stay. Of course, the room is slightly dated (maybe feels like 1990s-early 2000s) but still very clean, comfortable snd spacious. Do note that it is a tatami room so you have to be used to sitting and sleeping on the floor so it might not be suited for older people or those with mobility issues. Meals were simple and tasty. The road to the hotel is narrow and slightly away from town but considering the price, it’s good value for money.

CChubby Girl On Tour🛌 The room was perfectly suited for two people, even with two large pieces of luggage. A minor drawback was that the air conditioning felt a bit warm. 🌬️
🏨 The hotel’s location near the JR train station and the shopping area is just a 15-minute walk.
🚙 Parking is available in the basement for 1000 Yen per night. I’d recommend dropping off luggage at the entrance before parking for convenience.
👩🏻💼 The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more comfortable.

DDanoettThe morning breakfast is as expected of a typical Jap hotel & ends at 830am, kind of early. The location is 5 bus stops, roughly 1.2km, away from Miyazaki JR station. Although there’s a mini separate gender hot pool onsen to enjoy but it operates till 930pm, kind of early too. But I do see some using beyond 930pm so not sure if that’s the norm. Plus point are (1) soft pillow choices at lift lobby to bring up for extra usage, (2) hot & cold drinks 24 hrs & (3) hotel is located within shopping belt. There’s no key card but given a paper that contains PIN number to open your hotel room door. Room is very clean but small for 2 luggages.

UUsuario invitadoBeautiful new modern hotel, rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast has an ample selection. Restaurants within walking distance right outside hotel for dinner. Short drive to shrine and Takachiho Gorge. I would stay here again when I visit.
