Good budget hotel near Tambun. Self-check-in was easy. But the walls are very thin, I could hear people coughing, opening plastic bags and their TV, and I could even smell cigarette smoke from the next room. Overall okay for a budget stay, and there’s a restaurant downstairs that’s open all day. They also dont provide towels as shown in the photo.

Everything is good. I book for my 20th annivesary ❤️The hotel is connected to the mall, the room is clean and big for a king studio room with a clean bathtub. Breakfast is like other hotels but everything is delicious. Nasi lemak with squid sambal is very different from other hotels😍 will definitely come again.

El personal de Sunway ofrece un servicio excelente: son muy amables, pacientes y simpáticos con los niños. ¡Mi hijo está encantado de disfrutar de este viaje al zoológico de Lost World! 5 estrellas.
Solo se puede hacer el check-in después de las 15:00 debido a las pocas habitaciones disponibles, ¡así que NO vengan antes! El personal es muy amable y me llama cuando la habitación está lista, lo cual agradezco mucho.
La ubicación también es muy buena si planeas ir a Lost World, pero aparte de eso, es un rollo ir al casco antiguo o al centro de Ipoh para comer bien, ya que es una zona apartada. Reserva con antelación en Jeff Cellar, ya que está en la misma zona si buscas comida de alta gama pero buena. Sunway no solo debería vender sus propios productos (marca blanca), sino también incluir productos de exterior como patatas fritas o medicamentos. No es muy conveniente que en toda la planta baja del hotel o dentro de Lost World no haya aperitivos de medianoche que no sean de la marca Sunway. 😂

Room age and looks old especially the flooring SPC wood layer already peeled out and loose after we accidentally kicked on it near balcony, but is broken easily due to rain water seepage in from balcony and luckily our feet didn't get hurts after accidentally kick on it, also in detachable condition so really deteriorating . Took RM100 deposit upon check in and we worried they will blame this on us but luckily they didn't say anything.
I hope the management will at least change the flooring, as it can pose dangerous risk and don't let bad things happen over only regret over it.
Breakfast is included, under age 5 is free.

The room that i booked was on the ground floor so its convenient for families as there are no elevator in this hotel. There's Speedmart close by so its very convenient. Ironing facilities only 1 in each floor . Parking are plenty but charges applies for weekdays. Very value for money and I will definitely stay here again.

El hotel lugar muy estratégico. Cerca de Ipoh Prade. Si está interesado en comprar Muruku. Puedes ir a Kampung Kacang Putih a unos 20 minutos del hotel. Si usaste agarrar. Fácil de conseguir. También a unos 30 minutos de gunung lang. Si usa KTM solo alrededor de 15 minutos. Lugar muy estratégico si quieres quedarte. Lo recomiendo 😊👍

It was our favorite destination hotel. Our third visit and longest stay this time. But unfortunately, no more hot Onsen water....😭
Facility is good. The view is amazing.
But what made us return to this place was because of Onsen. Onsen water should be hot. It was just like a heated pool this time.
I don't know whatever the reason is. If they can't keep Onsen hot, that's not Onsen anymore.
It's so disappointing 😞

Overall, it was a pleasant stay the room was comfortable and service was good. However, the parking area could use more space, and the water heater needs improvement as the water turns from hot to warm after some time.

La habitación es grande, pero vieja. Es necesario pagar 1 aparcamiento por día. El desayuno es excelente. Los niños menores de 12 años pagan. La piscina está bastante sucia ya que no hay control, cualquiera sin el traje de baño adecuado puede simplemente saltar. Los alrededores no están mal, con la orilla del río y el jardín japonés cerca.

Es un hotel maravilloso con ambiente balinés. Tan pronto como entró en el hotel, sintió como si hubiéramos viajado al extranjero.
Es un lugar cómodo para quedarse con excelente ubicación.
El personal era amable y acogedor también.

EEnrique MoyaWe were travelling on a rented motorbike from Penang to Ipoh just for a day visit to some restaurants we know. Along the way it rained heavily as we were about 20min from Ipoh. I decided to use Trip.com once again, and find a cheap hotel.
My goodness, what a marvellous surprise for both of us, as it turned out to be such a lovely experience, almost like a 5 star hotel……
The room was gorgeous and facing mountains (west). Everything was perfect and clean. Bed & pillow were clean, smooth sheets and mega comfy!
We didn’t eat at their restaurant, but looked nice (see photo).
We will stay again, when we are back to Ipoh. PERFECT!!

The resort is peaceful and surrounded by nature perfect for a short family getaway to unwind from city life. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and waking up to the greenery and sea view was truly refreshing.
What we enjoyed most was how kid-friendly the resort is. The kids had so much fun with the pools and outdoor spaces, and we could actually relax knowing they were happy and occupied. Breakfast was good with a decent variety, and the staff were consistently warm, polite, and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience for both adults and kids. A great choice for families looking for a calm beach resort vibe. We’ll definitely consider coming back

BbhchongI had a truly pleasant stay at this unit! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—perfect for a relaxing trip. The host’s service was outstanding from the beginning, always responsive and helpful with any questions.
What truly impressed me was how the host handled a situation where I accidentally left a personal item behind after check-out. Their prompt response, clear communication, and the effort they took to locate and arrange the return of the item showed great professionalism and genuine care. It’s rare to experience such thoughtful management, and I’m really grateful.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stress-free and well-managed stay. I would definitely come back again!

If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious stay with a stunning natural backdrop, this is the place to be. The apartment complex is situated on a beautiful hillside, offering panoramic views of Ipoh’s lush greenery and limestone hills.
Apartment Features:
The apartment I stayed in was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It had an open-concept layout that combined a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining nook. The kitchen had all the essentials—fridge, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays. The living room had a large flat-screen TV and comfy seating, creating a great space for relaxation. The bedroom was cozy with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a clean, modern feel with a spacious shower and high-quality amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather.
Service:
While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. They also provided helpful information on local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.

One of the standout features of The Cove Hillside is the range of amenities. The infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking, offering sweeping views of the surrounding hills. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The fitness center is well-equipped with modern machines and free weights, great for staying in shape. There’s also a barbecue area that can be reserved for gatherings, which adds a nice touch for family or group stays. Plus, the complex is gated with 24-hour security, so I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay.

Llu_with_a_viewFantastic stay! Clean, comfortable pillows & mattress (without a bedframe - not a problem for us but just so you know). Nice sized room with hanging area & shelf. Good AC. Sufficient amount of toilets/showers, & shower has hot water. The location is great, close to the train station & by many restaurants. Note: reception is inside the compound, not on the street. Check in was simple and service friendly (though one gent on the desk couldn't help us with any info on buses to the Cameron Highlands). Pool area was cleaned daily. Would stay again.

· Retro Arcade Games & Pool Table: The arcade cabinet had so many classic games for a serious nostalgia trip. After that, switching to a competitive game of pool kept the energy high. These facilities really made our trip unforgettable.

· Water Dispenser in the Kitchen: Incredibly convenient! No need to boil water or buy loads of bottles. Having instant hot and cold water on tap was a game-changer.
· Luxurious Bathtub & Bath Salt: The biggest sweet touch was the owner providing bath salt for us! After a full day of activities, sinking into a fragrant, hot bath was the perfect way to unwind and felt like pure luxury. This small gift added such a personal, caring touch.
