Stayed for one night. Arrived super late for check in and the concierge was very kind and stayed late to help us. Room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Breakfast was good. Something to note is that parking was in a nearby garage and is not covered by the hotel. Overall would recommend if you’re in the area!

Great location for on route to Cardiff. Free parking and breakfast and great for late check in . Friendly staff and great to have Dove soap, shower and shampoo. 👍

Hotel is located very close to motorway junction. Easier for travellers for a nights stay. The hotel also have enough car parking space. Unfortunately the room I stayed had a very bad odour. The shower and toilet were also cramped but I dint mind as I was staying only for a night. Not ideal if you are staying for couple of days and planning to spend most of the day in the room.

Ella explicó todo sobre nuestro bono claramente, y incluso cuando tuvimos que ir abajo para preguntarle algo (porque no estaba prestando atención, pero mi marido era 😅), ella todavía era tan paciente y amable. La experiencia fue sorprendente. Había una noche muy buena la cama era muy cómoda, la comida y la cena en el salón eran deliciosas, y el servicio en todo era de primera calidad. El hotel era insensible, la vibración era tranquila y todo se sentía perfecto. Recomiendo realmente Mercure Newport a cualquiera que planee permanecer en la zona. Si usted está visitando o ya vive en Newport, tiene que experimentar lo limpio, lujoso y tranquilo que es. Es un ambiente tan relajante y acogedor! 🖤✨

La casa de la ciudad es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. Necesitaba pre-reservar restaurantes y spa que significaban que no podíamos usar el spa, y algunos restaurantes como reservamos el viaje por la mañana y no quedaron reservas, tuvieron que tener servicio de habitaciones que duró más de una hora y media para sandwiches y no comida caliente. Después de las 22:30. El desayuno es bueno, aunque muy largo esperando 40 minutos al día de salida, utilizamos el restaurante de firma como Olive/restaurante principal incluso más ocupado. El bar con cantante y músico fue relajado y ofrece lo que buscabamos, pero menos de 16 libras por cocktail es fuerte. Usamos el salón de firma para un prosecco gratuito (entre 4-6) el día de llegada pero cerrados temprano para nunca volver a utilizarse. La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy fácil, pero no es muy fácil, pero no es muy fácil. ¿No puede conectarse a la pantalla si usan la manzana, sólo androide? No hay flanillas en el baño y no hay baño de burbujas para el baño que era una vergüenza. La habitación es muy confortable, muy confortable y muy confortable. Always spotlessly clean. Reception always very nice. Rooms have all you need. Comfortable and Clean. USB sockets, reading lights and lamps, Samsung 32” Smart TV compatible with with mobile phones, tablets and pc/lap. Desk with desk lamp and luggage storage along with open wardrobe and bedside drawers/unit. Large full size mirror. The Queen size bed is comfortable and has plenty of pillows/bedding. Bathroom is one of the best I have seen In hotels with modern and clean fittings. Subway tiling with chrome finish fittings, large bath with waterfall shower and over bath shower attachment for when just your hair needs washing. Huge fitted mirror with lighting and ample space for your toiletries etc. Towel rail and door hooks all complete the better than most bathroom. Towels and toiletries/hand wash/kettle and mugs, glasses, quality hangers and the attention to details all complete a good value room. The hotel flows on to the pub/ restaurant. Being Green King the food is all good. An extensive food and drinks menu. Easy and user friendly app allows ordering from your table for food and drinks. Overall the convenience of both hotel and bar with good service and good value a highly recommendable place to stay whether your here for business, leisure or just a night or two r&r The New Inn @ Green King always hits the mark. If you have breakfast with room it's served at the restaurant with hot & cold options Continental and Full English. Both perfectly presented and quality products. Parking for guests is free and input of car registration avoids any after stay fees.

Nice hotel, comfy rooms, good base for Newport and Cardiff area. Homely, family vibe.  Have been before and would return. Great cooked breakfast with fried bread!

El hotel está en el centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentra el centro de la ciudad. Fair to say that I had very little sleep and I will never stay here again.

Some of the frontline staff charged me a different card payment than the booking agent had agreed to. This made me feel very confused. Fortunately, their senior management, Mr. Deepy, listened patiently to my explanation and understood my discounted room rate. He explained everything clearly and eased my worries. After a few days, the card was finally charged correctly.
