Had a good stay. Its on the white town side of Puduchery with most of the city attractions like Shri Aurobindo samadhi , Vinayaka temple, rock beach and walkway etc. ot walk able distances. The hotels tries to maintain an europian standard and ambience overall which was good, but things like not having door mats from the dusty balcony etc. backfires. Would say the facility and restaurant etc. are more for couples and not targeted for family with kids. Pure veg restaurants like Sirguru etc. are nearby. Parking is outside on the roadside. Overall had a good, no complaint stay. But nothing extra ordinary other than the hotel location. Cost was on the higher side for the facility.

Came to celebrate my birthday and had a nice time. Everyone smiles at you. Got a cake from them too.. Pro: -Service is super fast and feel like luxury. -Indoor pool was great and very clean. -Gym had trainers in the evening i guess. -Breakfast spread was huge with both veg and non veg. English breakfast was also wide. -centre of the city yet so quiet -Bed is huge and rooms are okaying spacious - iPad with lot of high tech - expresso was had to make but they give help u. - good Wi-Fi - valet parking Con: Asked for room cleaning late evening but didn’t do it. Tv controls in iPad for other entertainment apps are hard .(can provide normal tv control extra too

I went to get my France Visa from Pondi and decided to make a vacation out of it. The property is situated in the prime of Pondi, with the finest of sea views. The room opened into the sea view and one hears only the sound of waves at night. While the beach is crowded with visitors in the evening, later evenings and mornings are quite serene. They have a breakfast and rooftop restras and one can enjoy sea view meals all day and night which is the best part about the property. In terms of rooms, there is a lot to be desired as for the price, the rooms are not so great. Service is also below par in terms of employees not caring a lot to make you comfortable inside the room, cleaning schedules or even seating you in restras, I waited for 30 mins at least once to be seated at the roof top vietnamese restra when I had a table booked.

I have always been dreaming about traveling to India and visit Pondicherry! This year, I decided to make it happen! Thanks to my travel agent Services International, who made the reservations for me at the Le Dupleix, Pondicherry, this dream has been fulfilled with aplomb! My brief stay of three nights at this wonderful hotel in the center of town, gave me all the chances to see and experience what visiting Pondicherry is like! The time I took to visit, the guide Babur that accompanied me around town for the day, and the driver Mr Bala from Services International made the trip take place with absolute pleasure! But the staff at the Dupleix headed by Ms Kutiva, Ms Jemima, their housekeeping group with Ms Padmani made my stay here all the more pleasurable! It broke my hear to leave Pondicherry today, but I hope that the chance will come again soon! This time I will plan to visit with my friends and some family as well! I will give The Dupleix a very high recommendation, best to ask for rooms at the ground or second floors! Everything else will just fall into place and make you love reaching Pondicherry even more! Las instalaciones de las habitaciones están un poco anticuadas, el servicio del hotel es bueno y el entorno circundante también es muy bueno. Si no hay comparación con el Hilton en la parte de atrás, todavía es bueno.

We stayed at this hotel for a week .Just a few minutes away from White town but we had a superb experience in terms of cleanliness, hygiene,staff was very helpful,food at their in house restaurant was delicious, housekeeping facilities , professionalism with regard to dealing with customers.Special mention to Miss Vishalakshmi and Miss Parvathy who took care of us very well .Also Nitin who served us so many meals at May Kitchen was very good .The food, all meals especially the French cuisine which we ate once were.prepared well.All in all we had wonderful seven days and would definitely recommend to others to stay at Hotel Aura.

4 stars for the chef, 2.5 for the place. We had gone here for 31st dinner, i suffer from gluten allergy, chef Karna was helpful in guiding and preparing food for me. Although it was really difficult to catch hold of the staff, had to personally go and ask for update on our order. The food was tasty though, we had risotto and bbq cottage cheese with herb rice.

The hotel was pretty decent. This hotel is located 10-15 min away from city centre. So need to plan accordingly. Auto rickshaw is available just outside the hotel. Breakfast - Good choice of south indian and continental dishes. Rooms - Twin rooms were spacious enough for work and sleep. Front desk - Venu and Pavni are helpful and attentive. Only issue is with room cleaning. I had a long stay and the daily room cleaning wasn't up to the mark. Overall it was a decent stay experience.

I rated this hotel four star and deducted 0.5 each for two cons and here are they 1. Location: Location within residential colony with no proper view or anything. 2.the restaurant serves continental food so for lunch or rather dinner you have to stroll for a km or so. Now the pros: 1. The hotel is excellent, rooms are just aesthetically designed, size more than adequate so is the bathroom. 2.the restaurant serves continental as well as South Indian for breakfast. 3. Saw fewer staff as it's a new hotel, but cleaning etc all done. 4. The restaurant a tieup with hotel has wonderful staff. 5.elan at front desk is just excellent
