It’s the third time we came to Yufuin. Previously, we stayed in onsen hotels with meals provided. This time we are staying for 2 months in Japan to experience the local life, and Yufuin was our third stop, where we stayed for 6 nights. The service is top notch. The host responded very quickly whenever I had queries, and very clear instructions for free pick-up were given days before check-in. As we stepped in the house, the air- conditioner had already been turned on there were 3 big bottles of water in the fridge which made us feel so welcome. They collected our trash every day and asked us what we needed. The guesthouse is an independent unit full of beautiful Japanese decorations. It was sparkling clean and thoughtfully furnished with everything you need. A first-aid box was provided. We were given 12 sets of clean towels and toilet amenities, including toothbrushes. We have stayed in different apartments before and have never experienced this. More importantly, the kitchen was well equipped with everything—many cutlery items of different sizes and even wine glasses. There were a hot pot and a frying pan, a toaster, rice cooker, coffee machine, and even a dishwasher. You can't imagine there is even a massage chair! The bathroom was designed like an onsen. You can simply add some onsen powder to enjoy a hot bath. You can easily access different attractions on foot. The location is about a 20-minute walk to the nearby supermarkets, 25 minutes to the main shopping streets, and 30 minutes to the JR station. If you drive, it is even easier. For us, we enjoyed walking and seeing the beautiful scenery, so it was not a problem for us even though we didn’t drive. Every day we walked to the supermarkets and bought fresh produce to cook. We had so much fun making different dishes and hot pot. When we asked for a whetstone, the host quickly gave us theirs, and the next day, they bought us a new one. They even gave us sake as a gift. On the day of check-out, the host drove us to the JR station and helped us store our luggage in the visitors’ centre. Next time when we come to Yufuin, we will definitely stay here again. It’s really great value for money.

Uno de los problemas es que no hay ascensor, pero el personal es amable y útil para llevar el equipaje. Las paredes son un poco finas, por lo que puedes oír algún ruido de las habitaciones vecinas, pero tuvimos suerte de que otros huéspedes fueran respetuosos, por lo que no fue un gran problema.

Esta es mi segunda casa de huéspedes en Beppu. Como ya me había alojado en un dormitorio compartido, pagué un poco más para elegir una habitación con tatami. Era una habitación enorme para una persona. Pasé cuatro días durmiendo plácidamente y en silencio en la espaciosa habitación. Me calentaba en las aguas termales del primer piso por las mañanas y por las noches, cocinaba cómodamente fideos udon que compré en la cocina compartida, y carne a la parrilla. El baño era compartido.

The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious. 

Location: Very close to the bus and train station! Convenient if you need the transport. or if you want to visit Yufuin Floral Village and Kirin Lake, it’s walkable! Check in/out: Check in is done on the tablet on the second floor which was done pretty quickly and afterwards for check out there’s no procedure just make sure to leave at 10. Room: More spacious than expected. It has the amenities plus appliances (fridge, microwave, hair dryer). It’s fairly clean just some things dusty like the tv remote probably because it isn’t used much. My door was right next to the other room and sometimes when they open or close it it sounds like it was mine so i get startled haha maybe this is more on the customer side. Overall, i stayed for 2 nights and am greatly satisfied with my stay. I would consider booking this place again if I visit Yufuin again.

El hotel es muy nuevo, se siente adecuado para conducir por sí mismo, necesita mucha fuerza física para llevar el equipaje. Reservado una habitación mayor, hay mucho espacio, suficiente para hacer diez grandes maletas 😂😂, la cama es otro espacio separado, no es fácil encontrar este tipo de habitación, y el operador tiene que prestar atención a la inspección en el tiempo.

Las instalaciones eran viejas, pero el personal era amable y la comida era buena En particular, las fuentes calientes de aire libre están enterradas en la naturaleza y me gusta un poco.

Strategically located next to the beppu station. It's within 2 mins walk to the bus to yufuin. Very convenient. It's a nice place to stay at. Choices of amenities are quite limited but it's enough. The room is big l, bigger than any other budget hotel I stayed in. It was a pleasant stay!

El hotel está totalmente bajo el estatus de hotel, con instalaciones totalmente renovadas, habitaciones decentes, fuentes limpias de hotel y lo más importante, personal de hotel agradable y social con agradables sonrisas. El baño con vistas a la montaña le dará una memoria inolvidable y el balcón con montaña verde le dará la tranquilidad y la belleza de la naturaleza. El desayuno buffet y la cena se sirven con amplias opciones de comida deliciosa y de calidad. La habitación de relajación está llena de diversión para recuperar el equilibrio del cuerpo y la mente después del sabor de los diferentes cobardes. Volveremos.
