UUsuario invitadoThis was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience.
Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group.
Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent.
We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive.
There are, however, a few areas that could be improved:
1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements.
2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume.
3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold.
4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage.
5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming.
6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree)
Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. We would definitely love to return again someday.

此外，我们也非常享受酒店赠送的摄影体验，这成为了整趟旅程中最难忘的亮点之一。摄影师非常专业且有耐心，在整个拍摄过程中不断引导我们，并拍下了许多非常漂亮的照片。最后，我还特地购买了摄影套餐，因为成品实在太优秀，非常值得珍藏。那边的工作人员也都非常热情、友善、高效率且回复迅速。
不过，酒店仍有几个方面可以进一步提升：
1. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。
2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。
3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。
4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。
5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。
6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排）
尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

BBJlaoxinComo estaba de paso en Kunming, elegí un hotel de la marca Marriott, relativamente asequible y fiable. La ubicación es excelente. Conduje desde el aeropuerto de Kunming y las carreteras estaban en muy buen estado. El hotel se encuentra en una zona concurrida, con una amplia oferta gastronómica y de ocio en los alrededores. En la planta baja hay numerosas calles de restaurantes y muchos locales de famosos de internet. El hotel es muy nuevo, las habitaciones están impecables y las instalaciones son buenas. El personal de recepción es muy amable y profesional, acorde con los estándares de servicio de un hotel de cinco estrellas. El desayuno es bastante abundante y los ingredientes son de muy buena calidad. El servicio del restaurante también es muy bueno. Además, hay un gimnasio y un bar en la octava planta del hotel. El único inconveniente es que el aparcamiento gratuito del hotel está en la cuarta planta del edificio de aparcamientos, al otro lado de la calle. Es necesario llevar el equipaje uno mismo, lo cual resulta un poco incómodo. Sin embargo, a este precio, el hotel ofrece un servicio tan completo y eficiente, además de instalaciones de hardware. Estoy muy satisfecho. Vale la pena recomendar este hotel.

We’ve just returned from Dali, and the place we keep thinking about most is this hidden gem at the foot of Cangshan Mountain — Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse.
Oriental aesthetics in every corner
The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere.
The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined.
Comfort with thoughtful details
Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay.
Warm and attentive service
From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore.
The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day.
A peaceful location near the old town
The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature.
More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. If you’re looking to experience the slower, more peaceful side of Dali, this is definitely a place worth staying.

LLongmushiniumaInstalaciones: Sin duda, un hotel de cinco estrellas. La pequeña ventana da al acuario, y tuvimos la suerte de estar en el tercer piso, donde veíamos con frecuencia bancos de peces y tortugas marinas. ¡Los niños estaban súper emocionados! A la mañana siguiente, también pudimos bucear en el acuario contiguo (una actividad gratuita del hotel, valorada en 380 yuanes). El servicio de atención al cliente y los instructores fueron muy amables. Pagamos 200 yuanes adicionales por la filmación submarina y la interacción con la habitación. ¡Vídeos realmente preciosos que bien valen la pena!
Limpieza: Impecable. Incluso los vasos de cristal del enjuague bucal eran cristalinos y seguros de usar.
Entorno: Ubicado en las montañas, rodeado de zonas residenciales de lujo en construcción. Usamos taxis y Didi (servicios de transporte) para desplazarnos.
Servicio: ¡Excelente! Como nos alojamos durante el Festival del Medio Otoño, el mayordomo nos informó con antelación sobre un evento del Festival del Medio Otoño en el vestíbulo con regalos. Lamentablemente, teníamos la agenda apretada y no regresamos del casco antiguo de Dali hasta después de las 23:00, perdiéndonos el evento. Las dos recepcionistas nos esperaron para registrarnos e incluso nos ayudaron a subir el equipaje a nuestra habitación en la tercera planta. ¡Un servicio excelente! UUsuario invitadoLa experiencia en AnYu fue perfecta. El hotel está ubicado en la ciudad antigua. Los taxis y Uber pueden aparcar justo delante de la entrada, a diferencia de otros hoteles de la ciudad antigua donde hay que caminar desde la calle principal, lo cual es increíblemente práctico.
La decoración de estilo Nanyang es retro y exquisita. Cada mueble y elemento decorativo está elegido con mucho gusto, ¡incluso la caja del extintor! El ambiente es excelente y el sistema de música BOSE está presente en todo el edificio. Secador de pelo Dyson, diferentes tipos de cables de carga en la mesita auxiliar... cada detalle refleja la atención al detalle.
Desde el exquisito té de la tarde y el tentempié nocturno (caldo de setas blancas o leche caliente) hasta el desayuno de alta cocina, cada detalle está cuidado a la perfección y todo es gratuito.
Muchas gracias al personal, que cumple con los estándares de un hotel internacional de 5 estrellas o más. Su hermosa sonrisa te hace sentir como en casa, ¡y sin duda preparan el mejor café de Dali!

The receptionist 橙子 consistently checked where we were headed and whether transportation was needed, and even reminded us to wear a hat when the UV was strong. Truly thoughtful 👍
I wanted to buy two boxes of flower cakes to bring home, but the shop was quite far from the hotel and I didn’t want to travel that far just for them. Orange took the initiative to bring two boxes back for me from the city. That was incredibly heartwarming 🥹
Even after we checked out, the receptionist 三朵messaged us to make sure we arrived in Shanghai safely 🥹 All these little details show how much they genuinely care about every guest.
There was also a skinny gentleman (didn’t get his name) who kindly reminded us to bring extra clothes or a shawl before we headed to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Valley, as the weather could be colder up there.
Every night, the butler would check if we needed warm milk or hot chocolate before bed. These small, thoughtful gestures really show how sincere and attentive the staff are.
A big thank you to every staff member for the warm hospitality and attentive service that made our stay truly wonderful👏

RRoselynn HuynhThis hotel is honestly so photogenic, perfect for Instagram :)) There are flowers everywhere and the whole place has a very calm, chill vibe.
Their service was really impressive. They contacted us one day before our stay and even arranged a driver to pick us up from Dali train station, which made everything super easy. The butlers were also very helpful, always quick to respond and attentive to anything we needed.
They even gave us a free ride to our next hotel, which was such a nice extra touch. On top of that, they gifted me a cute elephant keychain for good fortune, so thoughtful and memorable.
The location is great too, very convenient to get around.

Nous tenons à remercier l'ensemble du personnel en particulier la dame qui est venue nous aider pour nos bagages . Il était tard. Nous regrettons de ne pouvoir rester plus longtemps. Merci pour le thé de l'après midi c'était beau et bon ai si que pour la soupe du soir. Quelques remarques cependant: les photos du petit déjeuner ne reflètent en rien la réalité. Il n'y avait ni fruits , ni toasts et le choix était très limité et inchangé pendant les trois jours passés. Nous n'avons donc pas pu déjeuner correctement. Pour ma part, un thé, et des morceaux de patate douce. Mon mari, des oeufs durs et un café J'ai fait remarquer la différence entre les photos du déjeuner sur le site et le vrai déjeuner. Le personnel a fait un effort et nous a apporté des gâteaux traditionnels. Merci. J'aurais espéré quelques fruits , que nous avons fini par acheter nous mêmes et du pain .
Une autre remarque concernant la chambre qui était très agréable, décorée avec goût, avec un linge de lit parfaitement propre et un lit douillet. Il y a quelques traces de moisissures dans les pièces d'eau. C'est vraiment dommage. Il faudrait mettre de la faïence peut être. Autre remarque , nous aurions aimé avoir la possibilité d'utiliser une douchette dans les toilettes. Ces remarques se veulent constructives et non pas offensives. Ceci afin de permettre à l'hôtel de s'améliorer. Nous espérons que ce sera le cas pour notre prochain séjour. Merci. Bonne continuation😊.

JJiniJiniEsta estancia fue muy satisfactoria y cambió significativamente mi percepción de las casas de huéspedes.
En primer lugar, la ubicación es excelente, justo al lado de los hoteles InterContinental e Indigo, lo que facilita mucho tomar un taxi.
El precio de la habitación era un poco bajo, pero aceptable. Al fin y al cabo, estuvimos viajando constantemente. La ropa de cama era cómoda y la habitación incluso contaba con un sistema de oxigenación, lo que me permitió dormir muy bien todas las noches durante tres noches consecutivas.
El desayuno del hotel fue una grata sorpresa, con ingredientes de alta gama como abulón y nido de pájaro, todo preparado con esmero.
El único inconveniente podría ser el aislamiento acústico, pero dada la estructura de madera de la habitación, no podíamos esperar mucho más. En general, dormimos bastante bien.
Los artículos de tocador eran de buena calidad, de la línea Verbena de L'Occitane, y los baños públicos de la planta baja tenían jabón y loción de manos de Aesop.
