Had a lovely stay at Bimbi Park, the deluxe cabin was nice and comfy with all the basic amenities plus the amazing full glass panel view of the plain where natural moonlight at night makes it even more magical. We also enjoyed the mini golf , managed to spot a few koalas high up above the branches outside of our cabin and also at the mini golf range. Too bad didn't spot any kangaroos, but plenty of different species of birds out in there! Would be lovely if the cabin comes with binocular that we can use for wild life watching.

La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable. El hotel es un hotel muy agradable y muy agradable. La habitación no era la más guapa, pero era todo lo que necesitaba. Estaba limpia y la cama estaba muy cómoda. Muy grande para un viajero que no quería compartir con extraños, muy acomodable. La denuncia menor sobre el ascensor quedó fuera de orden el último día. Especialmente en el nivel 4 con una condición cardíaca, las escaleras eran un asesino 😬. No pudo haber sido ayudado. Pero el personal estaba en ella 🙂. Gracias a YHA por su gran primera experiencia.

I had a very comfortable stay here and I was surprised at the standard. It seems that it's had a make over recently as everything seems new looking and fresh. The staff member that checked me in was friendly, efficient and willing to assist me with a small issue with my booking. Access is easy, even outside trading hours. I will stay here again sometime. I would say it's also great value. Thank you !

Esta fue mi segunda estancia en Melbourne City Backpackers y, en general, fue otra experiencia positiva, al igual que mi última visita. La única pega esta vez fue una de mis compañeras de piso. Llegó al dormitorio muy tarde y era bastante ruidosa. Alrededor de la medianoche, estaba masticando patatas fritas ruidosamente, y cuando le pregunté amablemente si podía dejar de comer porque el ruido me estaba afectando el sueño, simplemente dijo que era mi problema. En ese momento, me di cuenta de que no era alguien dispuesta a una comunicación razonable, así que decidí evitar una discusión y dejarlo pasar.

Entry is easy to find and friendly staff with pre-served keys in box for late arrival. Room is very tidy and clean with sufficient space, nice wooden lookout and little yard, was a nice stay here, recommend!

Muy bueno hotel, habitaciones y partes comunes muy limpias. Personal muy agradable. Situado en una tranquila zona de Melbourne y cerca de autobuses y tranvías. Un poco ruidoso por la noche, pero el pub se cierra a media noche. ¡Recomendamos al 100%!

The staff at help desk and helpful, gave clear info. Checked in at 6pm no issue, great having the help desk be open 24/7. The entry/cafe/front desk area had a small smell of cigarettes. Bed was comfortable and clean, only carpet was a bit dirty and the room smelled on mixed scents, primarily body odour, mixed shared room so not hostels issue just individuals different smells, ventilation was ok but would not recommend a windowless room with the scents issue. Guests seemed of a young adult demographic: Lots of young, foreign, Door Dash/Uber Eats workers. Bathroom/toilet amenities were sufficient but shower stream was changing from warm to cold water, which would be terrible if it was in the winter, but only slightly uncomfortable in the warmer month of December. Good option for securing luggage you don’t want to keep in the shared rooms.

The manager was very nice, the hotel rooms are located at 2/F but he is willing to help with the luggage carry even without request. The hotel location is fantastic, only 20-30 mins to Melbourne central (one tram only after you get the skybus from airport as well). supermarket, restaurant, cafe, gelato shop around as well. Clean, big room, nice toilet&restroom, nice kitchen, nice laundry. Highly recommend that hotel, definitely my priority choice if I come to Melbourne again. The only bad side is the room at 2/F that you have to carry your stuff up and down if you buy lots of things. And watch out especially in rainy day as it’s a metal stair.
