The experience was a mix of both positive experiences and areas of opportunity, in the positive aspects the service provided by the staff was great, kudos to the restaurant staff as they were very welcoming and friendly with us. Reception, a couple of things to mention: We had a delay on our check-in due to the room having some issues related to the door, we were requested to wait for 15 minutes after the 15:00 check-in, and we did, after this time I had to reach back to the reception to check if the room was ready, still, had to wait for another 15 minutes. It was a total of 30 minutes out of schedule from the initial check-in due hotel's fault, we arrived with more than an hour of anticipation. There was nothing but an apology, not even a slight interest in offering compensation for the wait time, which could have been a plus in the customer service experience. On the other hand. we had several technical issues entering our room, as everytime we where off the room for a while the card wouldn't work, this was a consistent inconvenience in every single day, at the point that at our last 2 days staying at the hotel we directly reached reception to get the card fixed as we were already tired from previous days to reach the 5th floor for our room and then having to go down to reception to report the issue with the card, reach 5th floor again and AGAIN visit reception because the card wouldn't work, this could have been activelly addressed with either a room change or a technical review, however, it surprised us that instead of the receptionist offering at least an apologize we were told it was because WE used the card on another electreonic device, which never happened, another thing to point out was that at their main elevator someone popped a pimple at the elevator's mirror, and that disgusting pimple stayed there for more than 4 days, which indicates that the facility cleaning is not optimal, following this though at our room the blackout was stained at a corner, and even with having staff cleaning the room that stain remained from day 1 untill we left, probably someone spilled a drink at the balcony and it dropped at the blackout. Positive things: Restaurant service and overall attitude from the staff, ubication was good, close to the beach and with a nice view. AOO: A more customer-oriented thinking, at least showing interest in going the extra mile with their customers, cleaning.

Este lugar es simplemente asombroso. Mi novia y yo decidimos quedarnos aquí las dos primeras noches en Colombia y no podríamos haber estado más contentos con nuestra decisión. Nos alojamos en la suite África: la habitación estaba limpia, hermosamente decorada y tenía mucho encanto. La cama era cómoda y todas las comodidades eran como se anunciaban. Pero eso es sólo la punta del iceberg. El personal aquí es realmente lo que merece una crítica estelar. Llegamos tarde e incluso antes de nuestra llegada, el propietario Marcus nos respondió de inmediato con información sobre el check-in. Cuando llegamos allí, Franc (François) nos estaba esperando y nos dio un recorrido rápido y atento por el BnB y fue muy amable e informativo con todas y cada una de las preguntas que teníamos. Él hizo el viaje por nosotros. Un ser humano tan maravilloso. A la mañana siguiente, tomamos un desayuno increíble que se preparó a la perfección y fuimos recibidos por su tortuga residente en las instalaciones, un chico tan lindo, así como por Marcus, que fue tan acogedor y amable como lo fue por teléfono. Cuando nos fuimos, Roman estaba trabajando y nos preparó un taxi hasta la estación de autobuses y fue igualmente amable y servicial. Podría continuar, pero hazte un favor y reserva este BnB. Volveré la próxima vez que vuelva a Cartagena, y en cualquier momento posterior.

All rooms overlook a central courtyard, which is nice but not practical as people are always passing by so you can’t leave the window open as you get no privacy. The curtain is not a curtain but a rolling blind, so either shut or open. My room happens to be on the ground floor, where the restaurant is. It may be better on the other floors. So just artificial light. There is also no desk in the room. Otherwise the room is decent and clean. The breakfast is simple but good with coffees, juice some fruit and an omelette. The place is secure and the reception have to open for you to go in and out. Location wise it’s pretty good as well as it’s within the wall but not where wll tourists hang out. Pretty safe Check in strictly at 3pm even if the room is available 😅

My stay at Ithia was very enjoyable. First time in Spain. The hotel is about 25 mins away from El Dorado Airport and check in was very smooth. My spanish is very basic but the staff was very patient and answered all of my questions. It is conveniently located right next to Museo National and within walking 15-20 mins walking

Si pudiera darle más de 5 estrellas, se las daría. La verdad, excelente hotel en general. El servicio impecable, la comida deliciosa, las instalaciones son lindas y limpias, el cuarto tiene todas las comodidades, y está ubicado en un muy buen sector. Lo único que quizá podría mejorar es la cobertura del WiFi, pero es un detalle mínimo.

No hay nada que comer cerca del hotel. La habitación del hotel es bastante grande pero el desayuno no es bueno, no hay nada para comer, peor que el Holiday Inn. El hotel no proporciona agua, el minibar cobra una tarifa alta, no hay secador de pelo en la habitación, tienes que ir a la recepción para conseguir uno, la vista al mar es hermosa pero hay muchas hormigas pequeñas en la habitación.

The old historic centre of Cartagena de las Indias, is very expensive thus this was an affordable option. Uber and taxis are also affordable. The breakfeast was very good. The personnel is nice and does not want to cheat you. Airconditioning is working well in this town where temperatures are around 32 degrees. Nice view from rooftop. An Arentinian friendly place in Colombia

Good location in South Bocagrande. Plenty of places to eat and a small mall across the road. Check in and out was smooth. Room was a good size with plenty of pillows and a comfortable bed. Has a minibar fridge and safety box. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. Breakfast was tasty with a decent variety. Pool area is well maintained and shaded. Would recommend.

Aunque es básico, cumple con todas las expectativas básicas. Bien ubicado, fácil de movilizarse y cerca al centro histórico y con playa casi privada. Todo el staff, desde porteros. El buffet de desayuno muy bueno y los consintieron haciendo arepas especiales.

No lo recomendaría dependiendo de lo que estés buscando durante tu viaje. El hotel es viejo, todo está anticuado. La piscina está sucia. Dicho esto, el personal es genial. Así que no querrás pasar más tiempo del necesario allí, pero está bien ubicado. La playa está al otro lado de la calle y hay muchos restaurantes. Es una zona concurrida.
