Cuando busco un hotel en una ciudad busco principalmente y por este orden: -ubicación, comodidades (categoría), precio, vistas, atención, desayuno. Ca Sagredo superó con nota todas las prioridades. Hotel con ubicación perfecta, céntrico, a un paso de todo. Limpieza y amabilidad extraordinaria, con todo tipo de detalles de un 5 estrellas, un autentico lujo veneciano. Conseguimos un muy buen precio en oferta y aún así nos pusieron con vistas parciales al canal y piso alto atendieron a nuestras peticiones. Tiene un restaurante con terraza sobre el gran canal, para comer cenar o simplemente tomar algo, también cuenta con terraza bar en la azotea con unas vistas increíbles. Parada de vaporetto en la misma puerta y estación de góndolas. Daniel hablaba español y nos aconsejó en todo. Hotel perfecto por su ubicación, categoría, limpieza, amabilidad, detalles. Lo único un poco peor es el desayuno, que aunque la calidad está bien, no hay mucha variedad y parece una presentación un poco triste, pero vamos que con hambre no te quedas, lo único que quizás estamos más acostumbrados a buffets de desayuno más grandes y con muchas mas cosas. Recomendable sin duda por todo.

Starting with a private boat ride to the hotel is a great way to get there. The location is close to the iconic rialto bridge. When you get in you get a quick explanation of the history and background of the building and it's (former) owners. It has limited number of rooms that are fully equipped and modern by every standard, super quiet airco/heater, high end tv with apple tv, free bar in room, etc. All of which you would expect for the price tag. The location is perfect and if you don't know it and want to reach it by walking, good luck in finding the entrance! Unfortunately the wellness was closed due to Covid. The staff is very helpful and attentive in general. The breakfast was great, you ask what you want and they serve it. The view from the breakfast room was amazing, the chairs for a 5 foot 6 inch (197 cm) are a little challenge, it is like sitting in an old 911! We tried to get lunch and after an initial glitch were able to get the dinner menu. We also tried dinner and were taking the recommendation of the chef, which was the only point we weren't impressed about. Overall i have to say it is worth a short stay to explore the town, and also enjoy this magical place!

Experiencia maravillosa. Situación excelente cerca de la estación, pero también cómoda en el centro con una caminata de 20 minutos. Aunque está a 10 minutos de la cantina. Muchos restaurantes y bancos excelentes a 5 minutos. ¡Camas maravillosas y limpias! ¡La desayuno es excelente! ¡Vale el precio! ¡Volveremos!

El hotel es un cinco estrellas que podría qued**** en un cuatro / cuatro superior. El servicio no es de cinco estrellas y las habitaciones tampoco. El entorno es fantástico y el jardín una maravilla. Esta un poco alejado del centro pero a una distancia cómoda para moverse. Estuvimos alojados en la Suite Presidencial y necesita una puesta a punto urgente. Visillos y pintura no esta a la altura del nombre de la habitación. El servicio de desayuno, no es de in cinco estrellas, es escaso y mal atendido; los productos que se acababan, tardaban más de 20” en reponerlos y sólo a base de reclamar su reposición.

We have just returned from a 2-night stay at this lovely hotel. It is well positioned for all the sights and there is a public water taxi stop next to the front of the hotel. The staff make all the difference. Valentino and another young man, whose name I didn’t get, were on reception for the 2 nights we were there. They didn’t stay behind the desk but came out and circulated and were engaging with all the customers, genuinely interested in what everyone had been doing. As front of house, they were outstanding. We had a side canal view. We paid a premium and being only 5’2” if I leant out, with my husband holding my ankles, I could see the Grand Canal. Not sure I would go for this option again. The room itself was small but very comfortable. We both slept very well. The only ****** was breakfast. I would like this to be self-service. On entering the breakfast room, we were advised that we had to have table service we were automatically given some bread rolls and croissants on the table. I like to have a look and then choose my own size portions, normally small. I observed that several people seemed to want to do self-service, but this wasn’t an option. A lot of rolls and croissants weren’t used as not everyone wanted them and I assume went to the bin. Also I just like to be left to do my own thing at breakfast. Table service for tea and coffee would be good. Unfortunately, this is something that would put me off using the hotel again. The only other small issue for me is the individual shampoo etc in the bathroom. I much prefer refillable dispensers which create far less plastic waste.

El desayuno aunque poco variado es de calidad y el personal ( como el todo el hotel) muy agradable y profesional. Las habitaciones dobles están muy bien, mientras que las individuales son excesivamente pequeñas. No tendrán ni 10 mcuadrados. Un FALLO IMPERDONABLE ES QUE NO TENGA ASCENSOR. EN MUCHOS PAÍSES SE LES HABRÍA DENEGADO LA LICENCIA.

El Sr. Mario es muy exquisito , muy agradable tener una charla con él , y ofrecen un itinerario con todas las indicaciones para los lugares principales que se pueden ver . El desayuno es rico y se puede personalizar con todos los croissants que quiera !

I have just returned from a 4 day trip to Venice and stayed at the Ca Gottardi Hotel, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect, the rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was a great start to the day and all the staff were polite, friendly and went beyond to make our stay amazing. My friend is poorly and was taken ill on our last day and we had to stay another night Diego and his team did everything they could to accommodate us even though the hotel was fully booked. They called the airport in advance to arrange special assistance and helped with a private boat to take us to the airport which came right to the hotel to get us. As I said before I cannot recommend this hotel and the wonderful staff enough. Thank you so much for making our trip one to remember
