The room is spacious, facilities are actually good. the private onsen in room is not huge one enough for 2. speaker there are using a good brand, foods are good, just make sure you got some snacks for yourself before going in. they do provide some snacks .

A renowned 5 ⭐️ hotel conveniently connected to the Sapporo JR station within 10 mins straight stroll. The Daimaru shopping mall 🛒🛍️ is situated right above for tax free retail shopping. The hotel looked 👀 grand & posh, & bit pricey, probably because it coincided with the Sapporo Snow & Ice Festival ⛄️❄️🧊 which is within short walk to Odori Park. With special access to the Club floor privileges, we enjoyed additional pampering F&B indulgence 🍷🧀🦐 . The hotel room is big & spacious but the overall facilities & decor are a bit nostalgic. The service is good👌 Sadly not much nightlife in this area, in comparison to Susukino area which comes to life @ night with more oishi eateries & great shopping 🛒 🛍️

If I could give it more stars, I would. Everything was perfect. It was amazing to see the harp player play on the lobby. My wife and I really loved it. The room was large and great! Every little thing was perfect!! The dining room was very nice. It was the best place we have stayed in.

The hotel room did not come cheap, but overall, we had a pleasant stay aside from a hiccup during check-in when the staff forgot to inform us that our room was ready and kept us waiting. The public onsen was great and we spent more time there than the private in-room onsen. The free ice-creams, drinks and ramen (during supper time) were delightful touches. Pillow gallery offered options of different types of pillows was great! The hotel is shoes-free, meaning one has to remove our shoes and store in the lockers at the entrance and move around shoeless or in the tabi socks provided. The yukata pyjamas provided were comfortable, so were the beds. The use of sliding doors meant one will not hear of slamming of room doors by other guests. It is a cosy hotel to stay in. What we did not like was the lack of a sheltered drop-off point to unload our luggages and the sensor lights at the hallway of the room. As it could not be dimmed or switched off, it would light up brightly when going to the toilet in the middle of the night.

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities. The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here. The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi. Overall, this Marriott was a real gem. Because of such a pleasant experience here, I’ll definitely consider staying at other Marriott Courtyard hotels in the future.

Superb onsen hotel with very chill lounge. Food was great and location is good. Ample parking spaces. Room was quite spacious with own private onsen. Public onsen is also very decent. Good place to stay in Jozankei 👍🏻

We’ve stayed here for 7 nights. Which was a bit longer stay for Sapporo. However as the weather was so bad with heavy snow, so we did enjoy our stays in hotel during the snowy weather. The breakfast is so great and we expect it every morning, as it includes a variety of foods so you always can find something to enjoy. All staffs are very friendly and welcoming, especially two male & senior chefs at ramen and omelette. We also bought spa in our room rate, so every night we did enjoy a pleasant spa( though it’s not hot spring). In front of hotel, there is a small mall - BIVI , which with some good restaurants ,nice cafe (Gentle Bagel) and coop. Even at the heavy snowing days, you have no worries to spend time in. B1 with very practical laundry service , costs are fairly . If you have budget, you can choose only room (without breakfast and spa) plans, which is with very CP, strongly recommended.

The Hotel location is about 7 mins walk to Odori Station Exit 1. The 'Streetcar' station was about 3 mins walk from the hotel. Super convenient. Walking distance to underground shopping mall. The hotel room was spacious about 28 sqm in view that most hotel in Japan is quite small. The breakfast spread was superb. Best in Sapporo. The hotel was very generous to provide FREE Hokkaido snacks with hot and cold drinks at Lounge Area from 3 pm to 9pm. Overrall our stay was excellent.
