Daugirdas Hotel is located close to the river in old-town Kaunas. It consists of two conjoined buildings, an old one and a newer annex. Our room was on the 3rd floor of the older part of the building and a bit dated. It was fairly large with a double bed, sofa, and desk, all clearly quite some years old but clean and well-kept. Our bathroom was large, too, and had a small balcony facing the street. Shampoo and shower gel were provided when it comes to toiletries. An on-site bar-restaurant provides drinks and dinner - normally, the restaurant seems to be located on the 1st floor, but when we stayed in June, dinner was only served at the outdoor terrace on the 4th floor. Unfortunately service seemed to be very stressed out (probably they were understaffed considering the number of tables and guests) which translated into a snappy, unfriendly attitude towards us as guests. Food was ok - the starter, tuna tataki, was really nice, but both mains (a salad and a burger) were nothing special and rather uninspired. Breakfast is served in the vaulted cellar, buffet-style, and rather simple. Compared to other hotels, the variety and quality of food were at a relatively lower standard. The room with its vaulted ceiling was impressive, the flip side of the room’s layout and simple furniture was that it was very loud just from people having normal “breakfast conversations”. Overall not bad, but probably not a hotel to remember and return to.

First, the good things about this hotel: one- a fantastic location, very close to the Old Town and within walking distance from the modern part of the city, parks, river, and most of the tourist attractions. Two: you can rent, free of charge, an electric scooter and have a ride on many cycling lanes and visit Kaunas that way. The restaurant had good ambiance, nice staff and served a decent dinner. Unfortunately, there is more bad things about the hotel. There is no human staff presence. There is no reception, everything is done by phone, you get a code, which opens the doors and for anything else, you have to ring a number. This might have worked but the phone in our room was broken, and we ended up having to ring from the UK mobile at international call rate. We were offered a different room, but we weren’t happy about its comfort. When you eventually manage to get through to someone, they will be helpful and react quite quickly, but it is an extra hassle. The cleaning is ordered by pressing a button on a device on the wall, otherwise no one will come to do it. You also check out by pressing a button on the same device. All this is not very clear, the device is behind the door. It would be better if there was a kind of an information pack in the room to explain this. The room itself was on the fourth floor with no lift. Fine for fit people, especially if you have to carry your suitcase upstairs, but not so much if you have a mobility problem. As the room was in the attic, it had a sloping ceiling so if you are a tall person, you might have a problem moving about. Curtains were a shambles, impossible to draw across the whole (arched) window. Wardrobe tiny, not to hold clothes for two people, even for a short stay. Television did not work properly. No city map which normally would be offered by the reception. No hooks or shelves in the bathroom so nowhere to put your things. For a water bottle, which normally is complimentary in 4* hotels, you will be charged 4 EUR. Breakfast was quite varied and good for continental guests. If you are used to having your cereal, you might have to ask the staff to especially give it to you. Whatever is lacking, the restaurant staff will do their best to provide it for you. However, this is not a standard you expect from a four-star hotel. So, all told, it was not a bad stay but lacked 4-star class.

He estado aquí con nuestros colegas holandeses, que nos ha pasado un buen tiempo: tan nuevo, limpio y brillante, diseñado con la comodidad y la belleza en mente. El hotel está situado en la orilla de la ciudad antigua y del centro histórico de la ciudad, en las tiendas de comidas, en las atracciones y en todas las distancias de caminar.

La suerte es muy buena, acaba de cumplir Kaunas 611 cumpleaños, hay actividades exclusivas, demasiado animadas, siento que gente de media ciudad se ha ido a la ciudad vieja. El hotel es muy bueno, pero fuimos en autobús a Riga a las 5 de la mañana siguiente y no disfrutamos del desayuno.

Hoteles en Hipster: El hotel es agradable, la ubicación es buena. Lugar Hipster. La experiencia con Trip.com fue extraño. Reservé una habitación con desayuno, también estaba escrito en un recibo. El hotel dijo que el desayuno no estaba incluido. Así que fue una mierda

La habitación más bonita en todo nuestro viaje al Báltico. Muy elegante diseño 30/40. Teníamos una agradable habitación grande con 2 sillas muy cómodas y una mesa. Había un escritorio. La habitación tenía un baño y un baño separados. Había un baño. La habitación era de 207 y los electrodomésticos eran un poco extraños, ya que no funcionaba la luz, a menos que la luz central estuviera encendida. El hotel estaba muy central a unos 10 minutos de la antigua ciudad. El desayuno era bueno con varias opciones para comida caliente o fría. La selección de frutas fue la única debilidad. Quizá este hotel era un hotel de 4 estrellas con el dueño anterior. Creo que el número de estrellas debería ser reconsiderado. Nos quedamos en una suite. La habitación es Niza. Es en 2 niveles con el área de dormir en la parte superior. La habitación era limpia. ¡No hay desayunos No hay restaurante No hay sauna No hay spa No hay sala de entrenamiento moderna Está un poco diferente en la página de inicio ...... pero durante la estancia fuera fue ”de orden” ....! Así que en este hotel de 4 estrellas, lo único que encontrará, El hotel dispone de una habitación con cama.

El hotel es muy limpio. La habitación es muy agradable, espacial, incluso tenía 2 baños, muy limpio y provisto de todos los suministros como la toalla y la pasta dental, gel de ducha, champú, toallas, etc. muy cerca del centro comercial de Akropolis y también la estación de tren.

La habitación es muy confortable, muy confortable y muy confortable. Algunos probablemente preferirían un bar abierto o un restaurante de noches tarde cerca, pero si sobrevives a la ciudad (los pocos restaurantes y bares) cerca de cerrar a las 22, y estás en ella para dormir una buena noche, Ibis Kaunas es realmente bueno para dinero.

Stayed in this hotel for4 nights in April 2023 and ordered 2 rooms. The location of this hotel is excellent! on the main street where lot of coffee shops, restaurants, bars and shops and it is only a ten minute walk to the old town. The clean rooms were modern and spacious and had all the amenities we required and are quieter. Our rooms (208 & 209) were two stairs that divided between the bathroom and the living room, at night no backlight for the stairs and it is dangerous in the dark. This is why these rooms are not suitable for disabled people. We had breakfast included in our rate - was ok. However, breakfast area was very dated . We definitely recommend this hotel if you were planning to stay in Kaunas.
