Prices of hotels in Mauritius can be high, especially those to the coast. Palms Horel offered a quite good solution in Quatre Bornes: it’s affordable (about 60 EUR a night) and not that far from more touristic places (about 30 min drive to the Capital, Port Louis, or the beaches of Flic en Flac). We were there for a 1-week business meeting. Facilities were very good. And any issues (happened) were very quickly solved by the staff …the staff (all, from the reception desk to the hotel manager) is definitely the key of Palms. Incredibly nice and helpful. The lady managing the meeting room area (and the coffee breaks) is a gem. The man and lady keeping the bar, the ladies in the restaurant and those at the reception were so nice. The Hotel staff was so helpful to accommodate on short notice for our Muslim colleagues who started the fasting of Ramadan during the meeting). And all issues linked to payment supposed to be done in advance (meeting room, 17 bedrooms) were dealt with in full confidence when on site! Thank you for that Ms Manager! El hotel está en ebene, similar al parque de alta tecnología, es conveniente para la oficina, el desayuno del hotel está bien, no hay gimnasio, pero las instalaciones son más prácticas. El estacionamiento es muy conveniente con una gran cantidad de espacios de estacionamiento. El personal de servicio es entusiasta y muchas necesidades pueden resolverse de manera oportuna.

El hotel, precioso con unas vistas espectaculares. El personal muy amable. La comida , con opciones veganas y vegetarianas, muy ricas. La habitaciones siempre la encontraba muy limpia. Piscina maravillosa con vistas al mar. Muy agradable estancia.

This property exceeded our expectations because of the wonderful services and staff. The room #2 was directly beside a small pool that offered shaded swims after a warm day. The room itself had a fridge , microwave and a bolted room safe. It was a good size room with a workspace for us as we tidied up bus for the next few months. TV with a small variety to watch and an air. conditioner. The property offered a significant and varied breakfast including a fresh juicer for orange juice. The varied menu included items such as sweet rolls, fresh breads and occasionally crepes. The crepes my husband stated you couldn’t eat just one of with hazelnut and bananas . He enjoyed his samosa and hot sauce when they were offered. As well as breaded vegetables and crispy rolls to sit beside your choice of eggs. Those were my favourite a plain omelette unfolded to add cheese and ham or chicken slices with hot sauce, fries when they were available. With a yoghurt and fruit. Plenty of tea and coffee ti wash it down with and of course cereals for the kids. Services such as a juice upon arrival to fill out you paperwork, set the tone as our hostess discussed the tours available. We used shuttles to and from Flic en Flac beach or Cascavelle Mall were perfect for our adventure . We shopped both at Jumbo Express down on the corner at the beach area, as well as the Cascavelle Mall. We were further encouraged to jump on buses to go to Port Louis and La Morne look out or further beyond to Cao Baie. While we did not feel the need to rent a car and drive about there were many people who had taken advantage of the inexpensive rentals. This atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Chill friendly and full relaxed, We loved Flic en Flac beach that seemed to go on forever and although we came to this area to dive which was very disappointing for reef and fish. We loved everything else it offered.

Tomé mi madre en vacaciones de vida en mayo, y después de varios días de viaje desde los Estados Unidos occidentales, finalmente llegamos a los Sands. La playa en los Sands es la mejor de esa línea de playa, por lo que es mucho más fácil caminar más allá de la baja cuando se morde en los pies. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es un hotel muy agradable. ¡Nos quedamos en la costa opuesta después de un viaje a la isla de Reunión, y nos olvidamos de ello, y deseamos estar de vuelta a los Sands. Si puedo volver a Mauritius, seguramente recoger los Sands para mi estancia!

El hotel no está muy lejos de la costa y se tarda media hora en caminar. El precio es muy razonable, por lo que esta ubicación está bien. Otras comodidades también son muy buenas, lo único malo es que comer no es muy conveniente. La cocina del hotel es muy sencilla y no hay nada para comer.

Estuvimos alojados en el hotel con mí esposo una semana. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, frente a la playa, solo hay que cruzar la calle, la zona es muy tranquila, con un supermercado Jumbo al lado. El ambiente es muy agradable, con un lobby, que es donde se sirve el desayuno y la cena, muy agreste, lleno de plantas y muy cómodo para relaj****. Está todo muy limpio y prolijo, la comida rica y variada y el personal muy amable, siempre de buen humor y muy atentos a todo. Agradecemos sobre todo a Hans que, ante un inconveniente, lo solucionó de inmediato y tanto él como todo el personal estuvieron siempre muy pendientes. La playa es hermosa y muy solitaria, lo cual nos encantó, salvo los fines de semana que se llena un poco de gente pero nos alejabamos unos 100 metros y volvíamos a encontrar la paz de una playa casi desierta. Me interesa dejar esta opinión ya que había leído algunos comentarios desfavorables sobre el hotel. Excelente estadía en el Aanari! Volveríamos!!
