After taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village. Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀 They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear. Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time. Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu. Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam. Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. God bless her 🙏🏼 I wish to come again with my family, and i will stay here

La casa de huéspedes tiene un diseño único; no pude encontrar este estilo en ningún otro lugar de Xuegu. Además, es muy económica. Los dueños y su familia son muy amables y serviciales, y ofrecen información veraz sobre las atracciones cercanas. La comida es deliciosa. El único inconveniente es la poca presión del agua en la ducha. El cabezal no rocía bien; solo sale un chorro fino, como un grifo. La temperatura del agua también es irregular. Para alguien del sur acostumbrado a ducharse a diario, esto puede resultar un poco incómodo. La casa de huéspedes se encuentra entre dos zonas concurridas de Xuegu, por lo que no se pueden explorar los alrededores por la noche. Sin embargo, hay una pista de nieve detrás de la casa para hacer snowtubing, y la casa también tiene un tobogán y columpios, así que hay mucha diversión.

The guesthouse owner is very attentive and friendly. They gave you the feelings like you are staying at your own hometown. They are Muslim friendly as they prepared breakfast using seperate utensils and treat you like their own family. There is also Makanan Melayu menu that they prepared for Muslim if you want to eat for dinmer or lunch. The price is affordable. At the guesthouse, there is a poster of snow activities that you can do written in English translation. Just point to what do you want to do and the owner will directly arrange somebody to pick you up and drop off to the guesthouse again once activity is done. I did the ski playground activity and Wu Song Ling , both of the experience is very great. If you travel solo, then this guesthouse is perfect for you as they really caring and attentive to make sure you are safe and comfortable. I also got to eat frozen fruit given by the owner. No need to worry if you cannot speak chinese as the owner is equipped with translation devices. The owner can arrange the bus to come from Harbin City to Snow Valley, and also when you want to go back. The bus drop directly infront of the guesthouse with the owner already waiting to help with your luggage.

The bosses are very friendly and fetched and send us from the yabulixi train station. Upon arrival to the homestay, lady boss free upgrade to a beautiful bigger room for us! I have been communicating with lady boss via WeChat xyxms999 before arrival and she helped us planned the full 5 days 4 nights itinerary including to horse ride, snow play, ski and xuexiang! They literally drive us around to and fro around by their chauffeur. We ordered TB and they help us pick up our stuff too They serve daily breakfast too The room is very new and is exactly as per the photos and housekeeping is awesome The bosses own a restaurant next door and serve super yummy authentic dong bei food that we had our dinner there every night! And they are so nice to give us a discount of the food… Even though this is a homestay but we feel that the service they offer was far so much better than a hotel. They have their big snow area with their own snow play with snow bike and snow car and snow slide and swing too Also they help us buy discounts tickets to all places of interest as well as loan ski gear at a discounted price too… My girls loved it so much that they wanted to go back again!

This probably the best homestay you can get in yabuli or anywhere else. Why? Inform them of your arrival in yabulixi West Station and their driver will come pick you up complimentary. Once back into hotel, you can ask to go for activities or dinners and they are eager to send you there. Breakfast is also served complimentary everyday with different types every morning, just so good and delicious. Mr. Pang and Mr Li and their spouses are very friendly and helpful. You will never regret staying here. The rooms are heated from the floor, not wall so you can walk about with warm flooring. Window is facing small park and beautiful hill, very close to the ski centres. You will definitely love this place.

This homestay is almost at the end of the snow valley street. The room was spacious, comfy and very clean 🤩 They have heated floors and bed which is really superb. And the food here was also affordable and delicious 😋. The bathroom was also no issue cause the shower was beside the toilet and we had bidet sprayer which can connect with the sink outside the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Just that it would have been great if they had prepared a proper bath towel in the room, we needed to ask for a towel in the reception and it was a tiny one. Other than that I just loved the hospitality there and the way they manage the hotel. I would highly recommend it!!!!

Before coming here, we were worried about getting to the accommodation and attractions. But the bosses were really helpful and arranged everything for us thoughtfully allowing us to have a worry-free stay. They prepared dongbei style traditional costumes, organised activities like tanghulu making, fireworks and many more. The room was spacious, clean, and had the traditional dongbei atmosphere that we were looking for. The room was well-heated such that we were able to walk around comfortably in thin clothes and wake up well-rested with smiles on our faces. The boss greeted us every morning with a light hearty breakfast and made sure we started our day right! He even brought us to the moutains and made sure we were well taken care of before leaving. Furthermore, he even arranged a photographer to help us take beautiful pictures for memories. The location was also perfect as it close to convenient stores and delicious restaurants. Overall, we loved our stay so much. They were the most welcoming hosts we have met. Highly highly recommended!

Resumen: Fue perfecto más allá de mis expectativas. Definitivamente elegiré este hotel nuevamente la próxima vez. 1. El gerente de cuentas se comunicó conmigo con un día de anticipación y me preguntó cómo llegar al hotel. Después de enterarse de que era un taxi ferroviario de alta velocidad, inmediatamente me ayudó a organizar una recogida para mañana (porque estaba preocupado por nuestro). El viaje se vería afectado por un conductor *****). En ese momento, estaba muy preocupado por la favorabilidad del 70% del hotel. 2. El hermano mayor que nos recogió al día siguiente ya nos estaba esperando afuera. Después de recogernos, fuimos directamente al hotel. El auto que nos recogió también estaba nuevo y limpio, y quedamos muy satisfechos. 3. Lo que más me sorprendió después de registrarme en el hotel fue que la clienta dijo que le agradaba y directamente me pasó a su suite. La habitación era súper grande y estaba muy limpia. 4. No reservé esquí ni otros itinerarios antes de ir allí. Leí en línea y dije que podía pedirle al hotel que me lo reservara. Luego le pregunté a la señora sobre la pista de esquí número uno del mundo y ella inmediatamente me ayudó. Me tomó media hora. Consiguieron que alguien nos recogiera y me ayudaron a reservar un paquete para esquiar al día siguiente, que era mucho más barato que la estación de esquí. Experimenté todos los proyectos que quería jugar y todos los que conocí estaban muy entusiasmados. I’ll start with the highlight of our stay: the ski rental team at Yabuloni Hotel. Since rentals are included in the stay, we spent a fair amount of time with them, and they are truly world-class. Led by a charming and compassionate boss, the team of four （photo attached) is incredibly professional and approachable. They don’t just hand you gear; they perform thorough safety checks, ensure a perfect fit, and offer genuine tips for the slopes. They made our trip seamless and safe. They will be the reason why we will come back and stay here Unfortunately, the hotel itself doesn't live up to that same standard. The hallways are dimly lit and poorly ventilated, a theme that continues into the rooms. The biggest issue was the bathroom, a persistent, foul sewage smell made us feel like we are using a public toilet that has not been cleaned for years. If this is 5 star standard, i'm afraid they have to do much much better. To top it off, the reception staff felt poorly trained. Despite having plenty of people behind the desk, no one could answer basic questions about local attractions, slope openings, or even help us arrange a driver for dinner around the area. For the price point, they should think of how they can justify their service other than having a world class and helpful ski rental management team.
