We wanted more than luxury . We wanted a hotel that truly reflected Harbin’s character, heritage, and history. We are glad to have discovered this hidden gem. Mansion 1903 Hotel is probably one of the most charming hotels in Harbin, beautifully blending old-world elegance, modern comfort, and strong Russian heritage. The location is excellent, conveniently close to Zhongyang Street, yet peaceful and refined. The rooms are spacious, clean, stylish, and exceptionally comfortable, while the staff are warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. Their service made our stay especially memorable. The elegant lobby environment, together with the traditional Sarafan and Kokoshnik costumes, also provided a wonderful opportunity for photography and added to the hotel’s unique cultural atmosphere. Special thanks to Mr. Deng for his meticulous sharing and introduction of the antique collections displayed in the hotel lobby. His passion and knowledge greatly enriched our experience.

This accommodation is an excellent choice if you want convenience and comfort in Harbin. The location is unbeatable — just a stone’s throw from Hongzhuan Morning Market and Zhongyang Street, making it easy to explore, eat, and shop without long walks in the cold. We arrived past midnight, and the host was incredibly thoughtful to wait for us in the freezing weather. He even coordinated with our Didi driver and directed him to drop us at the closest possible entrance, which we truly appreciated after a long journey. The apartment itself is simple and practical, with all the essential facilities we needed, including reliable heating. What really stood out was the host’s kindness and flexibility. He kindly volunteered to store two of our luggages for us when we went on a road trip outside Harbin before returning again. For our departure, he also offered to extend our check-out time for just ¥100, which was far better than being stranded in the cold while waiting for our late-night flight. The area is surrounded by many good restaurants. We especially enjoyed 老厨家, which often has long queues — but thanks to the close proximity, we could take a queue number, return to the apartment to wait comfortably, and head back when our number was called. Overall, a great-value stay with an exceptionally considerate host. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a warm, convenient base in Harbin, especially during winter.

After taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village. Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀 They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear. Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time. Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu. Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam. Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. 老闆挺熱心的找不見還出來接 也會推薦下好玩的 冬天住的不冷 就是毛巾和洗漱用品是不提供 最好是自己帶一點 不過這個價位也可以了

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We communicated easily through WeChat. We dined at her nearby restaurant, and she even treated us to extra dishes and discount, which was such a warm gesture. She also offered to fetch us to and from the train station, as well as to the ski area (we bought our ski tickets directly from her, super convenient!). We even engaged her for our Xue Xiang day trip (we paid), and everything was arranged smoothly. The room itself was large, basic and simple, but very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done daily, and amenities were replenished. Overall, we had a great experience thanks to her hospitality. My in law were happy staying here too.

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia en el hotel. El personal fue muy amable. Nos atendieron desde nuestra llegada hasta nuestra salida. También tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una habitación de categoría superior. La habitación era bastante grande y estaba limpia. El personal de limpieza también fue muy amable. Sirven el desayuno en la planta del vestíbulo, que es bastante amplio para trabajar si es necesario. En cuanto a la ubicación, está relativamente cerca de los lugares céntricos en coche. Sin duda, lo recomendamos a cualquiera que busque una estancia corta en Harbin.

El gerente de cuentas se comunicó conmigo con un día de anticipación y me preguntó cómo llegar al hotel. Después de enterarse de que era un taxi ferroviario de alta velocidad, inmediatamente me ayudó a organizar una recogida para mañana (porque estaba preocupado por nuestro). El viaje se vería afectado por un conductor *****). En ese momento, estaba muy preocupado por la favorabilidad del 70% del hotel. 2. El hermano mayor que nos recogió al día siguiente ya nos estaba esperando afuera. Después de recogernos, fuimos directamente al hotel. El auto que nos recogió también estaba nuevo y limpio, y quedamos muy satisfechos. 3. Lo que más me sorprendió después de registrarme en el hotel fue que la clienta dijo que le agradaba y directamente me pasó a su suite. La habitación era súper grande y estaba muy limpia. 4. No reservé esquí ni otros itinerarios antes de ir allí. Leí en línea y dije que podía pedirle al hotel que me lo reservara. Luego le pregunté a la señora sobre la pista de esquí número uno del mundo y ella inmediatamente me ayudó. Me tomó media hora. Consiguieron que alguien nos recogiera y me ayudaron a reservar un paquete para esquiar al día siguiente, que era mucho más barato que la estación de esquí. Experimenté todos los proyectos que quería jugar y todos los que conocí estaban muy entusiasmados. La ubicación es absolutamente excelente, al lado de la iglesia de Santa Sofía, frente al mercado de alimentos de Daoli y a poca distancia de Central Street y el río Songhua. El ambiente de la habitación es similar al de la imagen, la calefacción es suficiente y la higiene es buena, lo que personalmente me sorprende más es que hay una lavadora en el baño, está muy limpio, por lo que puedes lavarlo con confianza. Además, la calefacción es suficiente y por muy gruesa que sea la ropa, estará seca y fragante durante la noche, lo que me conquistó. La ropa de cama también es cómoda. La actitud de servicio del jefe también es muy buena, cualquier cosa que le pidas, básicamente puede satisfacerte. Espero mejorar el nivel de productos de higiene y agregar un acondicionador.
