En un primer momento, nos hemos mostrado muy dudosos en la reserva de este hotel (el 14 de junio de 2022) después de leer algunas críticas negativas anteriores, todas escritas al mismo tiempo ”hace 4 meses”. La recepción del hotel fue amable, amable y útil desde el momento en que nos dirigíamos para hacer la reserva hasta el momento en que nos entregó las llaves al comprobar. La noche de invierno fue fría y encontramos la habitación cómoda, limpia, grande y cómoda. La tarifa era más razonable y nos sentíamos muy valiosos por dinero. se apreciaron..

La habitación era limpia y agradable. El inicio de la sesión fue rápido y eficiente. Tenía todo lo que necesito. Muchos restaurantes muy cerca.

We were welcomed by a friendly, smiling receptionist, Tharindu. He was very helpful, bringing out a luggage trolley for us and showing us where to park while checking in. In our room, we were greeted by a platter of mini desserts and a card congratulating us on our 30th Wedding Anniversary, signed by the manager. We then re-arranged the room to suit us for 2 days and nights, including swapping out the desk chair for some more comfortable chairs. We were very grateful for Tharindu's easy nature and helpfulness. The room was extremely quiet, only once or twice did we hear a door shut, otherwise we weren't interrupted by any other guests and their movements. We were on the top floor (6th) which had great views to the north, over the Monash City Council outdoor and carpark area with plenty of trees. At night, the Glen Waverley buildings lit up, providing a surprisingly exciting vibe, we felt like we were in another city, in another state, not 12 mins drive from our house! The Glen has plenty to offer with shopping, cinema and a myriad of restaurants. Our hotel was just a 10 minute walk from everything, so we were able to go out several times to have a meal, a movie and the odd bit of shopping for some breakfast supplies. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant, but they were very kind to let us borrow some crockery and cutlery for our stay. Everything about our stay was positive except for the small matter of having to park off site. The car park underneath the hotel costs $20 per day, so we decided to park 1km away in neighbourhood streets for free. Most of the parking around The Glen is limited to 2 or 4 hours, so you'll need to walk a fair distance to find parking spots.

BADLY MANAGED 2 years ago the first stay and it was bad in many senses Functionality, consistency are factors which counts to judge a hotel. Luxury is up every one and for many to stay in a hotel it's luxurious Not for me, in the past 23 years I stayed up to 240 nights per year in hotels (ACCOR since they exist) across Asia and they set the standard. This hotel here is lacking in everything behind a Asian ACCOR standard, mind you we are a part of that world. Housekeeping does a half job Breakfast buffet the same every day, no Asian varieties like a fried rice or noodles, just booting old western food selection Results in booting head chef and non entrepreneur GM Both should not be here!

La habitación de la habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. Pocos toques, como la mejora de la habitación a una suite, los chocolates de bienvenida, recuerdo mi orden de café de la mañana y botellas de agua en mi habitación fueron muy apreciados. Lovely people were willing to go the extra mile to make our stay as nice as it could possibly be. The hotel was close to food and to business so it made life easy as transport wasn't required. Our room was very nice and had all the features required to relax after a hard day's work thank you.
