«Love everything about this hotel,from the peacefulness the moment I arrived, to the welcome tea and snacks, all the way to the room itself. The view was absolutely spectacular. Every corner of the hotel feels thoughtful and detailed; you can truly feel the amount of effort and care the owner and architect poured into this space. I first discovered Muxi Huoshan through Tatler, where they mentioned the owner took 12 years to build it — and now I completely understand why. Although the price is considered high by China standards, I honestly think it’s worth every bit of it. The weather during my stay was amazing too — clear blue skies in the day and a sky full of stars at night. The only downside would probably be the food. It was okay, but for the price point, I do hope it improves in the future. The hotel is also still expanding, with the spa, gym, and museum currently under construction and expected to be completed in about 3 years. But even so, I loved being able to visit the museum while it’s still in progress. Loved every bit of this stay. Will definitely be back 🤍»

«La ubicación es muy conveniente, cerca del aeropuerto. Hay un embarcadero enfrente y tomamos un barco a Xizhou. Un poco más abajo hay un parque de humedales donde los niños pueden jugar a buscar piedras. Las camas individuales se pueden juntar y tienen barandilla. ¡La bañera estaba muy limpia! El aire acondicionado hizo un poco de ruido la primera noche, pero contacté con Olivia sobre la medianoche y me respondió enseguida. Vinieron a repararlo al día siguiente y el ruido disminuyó considerablemente esa noche. ¡Incluso nos ofrecieron un traslado gratuito al aeropuerto! Dali es muy húmedo, pero el hotel era muy seco y me sentí muy a gusto al regresar. El desayuno tenía un menú diferente cada día y la cena china estaba bien. ¡La comida tailandesa era apta para niños!»

«La habitación era fabulosa, con vistas al mar de 140 grados que abarcaban la mitad del lago Erhai. Cada día, al abrir las cortinas, te recibía un paisaje de tres líneas en tonos gris azulado, donde el cielo, el mar y la tierra se fusionaban en una paleta perfecta, ofreciendo un despertar visual de puro disfrute. Como viajábamos con niños y personas mayores, todas eran habitaciones con dos camas. La habitación no era enorme, pero las instalaciones interiores eran muy completas. La separación de la zona de ducha y bañera, así como el diseño empotrado de la bañera, eran muy prácticos y bien pensados. El espejo de tocador con puerta corredera también era un diseño ingenioso: al lavarte, podías disfrutar de las vistas del lago Erhai. 👀😀 El servicio fue aún más atento. Cada vez que bajábamos del coche, antes de llegar a la puerta, el personal de recepción ya estaba junto al vehículo para ver si llevábamos equipaje, ayudándonos a cargarlo y llevarlo directamente a la habitación. La entrega por robot inteligente también permitía que los pedidos de comida a domicilio llegaran directamente al punto exacto. Además, el vestíbulo del hotel en el segundo piso era muy espacioso y acogedor, con un inconfundible toque de estilo de vida sofisticado. Sentarse unos minutos a contemplar el paisaje desde allí era una ubicación excelente. En la zona de villas cercana se escondían varios restaurantes de comida local con especialidades, así que no olvides buscarlos en las reseñas para no perdértelos. Finalmente, no puedo dejar de elogiar a la amable señorita de recepción. Al saber que colecciono tarjetas llave de habitaciones, me regaló un juego de la serie local y un llavero para el equipaje, ¡simplemente hermoso! ¡El Indigo sigue siendo una excelente elección!»

«¡No tengo ninguna queja sobre este hotel! La ubicación es excelente, a poca distancia a pie de las Tres Pagodas (a 10 minutos a la izquierda) y también de la Puerta Norte del casco antiguo, girando a la derecha a 5-10 minutos en línea recta. Los jardines del hotel y el restaurante tienen vistas a las pagodas. Nuestra habitación era enorme, tranquila y tenía todo lo necesario. Además, contaba con detalles muy bonitos: tazas, vasos, cubiertos, todo muy elegante; servicio de preparación de la cama con leche. El desayuno era muy bueno, no muy abundante, pero tenía muchas especialidades locales y platos occidentales estándar. Sin embargo, probablemente uno de los mayores atractivos del hotel sea Kadi, el gerente general francés (especialmente si eres extranjero). Fue muy atento, nos dio mucha información y conocía muy bien la zona. Nos dio consejos estupendos para visitar los lugares de interés locales, la mejor manera de visitar las pagodas, dónde ir exactamente en el lago Erhai (no los sitios habituales) y nos sugirió lugares realmente buenos para comer; solo hay que seguir sus recomendaciones. Incluso consiguió que el chef nos preparara ensalada de pétalos de rosa para el desayuno, ya que los días que estuvimos allí no la ofrecían. El resto del personal también fue genial; aunque no hablaban inglés (excepto Kadi), todos respondieron rápidamente en WeChat. ¡Ojalá nos hubiéramos quedado más de dos días, Dali tiene mucho que ofrecer!»

Contemplar el lago Erhai desde la terraza, con el sol acariciando mi rostro y los hermosos jardines del hotel a mis pies, me hizo sentir completamente relajado. Las instalaciones y el equipamiento son de primera categoría. La limpieza es impecable; la habitación se limpiaba a diario y siempre a tiempo. Las señoras del personal de limpieza siempre me recibían con una sonrisa, lo que me ponía de muy buen humor. El personal en general es muy atento; me ayudaron con el equipaje al hacer el check-in y me indicaron cómo usar las instalaciones del hotel. El desayuno también estaba delicioso. Our room is SPECTACULAR we did not want to leave. You see your choice of hotel is also part of your vacation. Songyun Cliff Hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s in the primest of all locations, each room with a cliffside view and you have access to all breathtaking spots for photo and for scenery appreciation. The rooms are perfectly appointed and best of all our butler service is A-Perfect! A-Qiang attended to us like we are ViPs. All our requests served promptly and with a smile. We asked him to deliver us flower crowns and Shopping bags and he delivered to our surprise! At no extra charge! He is really adorable. You are in luck if you het a room at Songyun Cliff Hotel and even luckier if he is your butler - thoughtful, patient, professional. He is perfect.
