El hotel en general es bueno. Céntrico e instalaciones cómodas aunque las habitaciones estándar son de tamaño bastante reducido. La relación calidad precio por ello no es la mejor. El servicio puede mejorar. No es la atención cálida y amable que podrías esperarte de un hotel de este rango, ni a nivel de reception ni a nivel de meseros. Entiendo que la dirección está haciendo importantes esfuerzos para mejorarlo y es por ello que mi calificación es alta. Una mención especial al gerente Carlos por su atención y amabilidad.

Nos hospedamos del 29 Abril al 6 de mayo 2022, lo único bueno que tiene el hotel es la ubicación. Si se busca un buen hotel y con buen servicio , este NO es la opción. Pagas tarifa de hotel de lujo y te encuentras con habitaciones he instalaciones que requieren de remodelación, mantenimiento y limpieza. Lo más grave es el servicio, tomamos una tarifa que incluía desayuno buffet, entiendo que cuando es buffet cada huésped se sirve, pero debe haber atencion para proveer lo básico necesario, como agua, cubiertos, café, servilletas etc…. El personal no está capacitado para atender a los comensales, te hacen sentir como si te hicieran un favor, pedias agua y podía tardar más de 15 min, si es que tenías la suerte de que llegara. Me toco ver como una señora pregunto si había zatar y el mesero contesto que si, que en la cocina, ella se quedó con la boca abierta de la contestación y obvio el Mesero no se lo trajo. El viernes por la noche reservamos una mesa para el Bufet de la cena, por equivocación dieron la mesa a otra persona a con el mismo apellido, tardaron en darnos la mesa más de 30 min y nos apresuraron a servirnos y a pararnos de la mesa porque ya iban a recoger. Cabe mencionar que perdimos alrededor de una hora para que lo resolvieran, pagamos una cantidad muy elevada por ese bufet, y fue una decepción después del trato del pésimo trato recibido. El día sábado también en el Desayuno nos pararon de la mesa porque ya querían recoger, tienen una terraza muy hermosa pero no es para que el huésped la disfrute. Si se distraía uno, nos quitaban los platos de los cuales seguíamos comiendo. Algo muy desagradable es que los meseros además de MUY mal encarados tenían un MUY mal olor. Cuando iba a terminar la hora del bufet no daban aviso y si te encontrabas sirviendo algo, casi te arrebatan las cucharas de servir de muy mala forma. Invito a la gente de recursos humanos que viajen alrededor del mundo y paguen las tarifas que usualmente cobran en su hotel, y se darán cuenta que su hotel está sobre valuado, la buena ubicación no es lo único que la gente busca al hosped****. Vengo de hospedarme en un hotel en Estambul en el cual pague poco más de la mitad que en el David citadel y recibí un servicio de excelencia en todos los sentidos. Sin duda no regresaré a este lugar primero por el precio, Segundo porque no es un hotel que se preocupe por sus huéspedes, y no me sentí bienvenida por muchos de los empleados que ahí trabajan. A los dueños del Hotel mucho OJO si quieren que la gente regrese busquen gente calificada y a la altura del hotel que pretenden ser.

Todo está a un alto nivel. Pedimos algunas cosas pequeñas en la habitación, eran gratis. Hay un estacionamiento económico, 15 dólares por día. Cogimos una habitación Grand Deluxe que era espaciosa con un balcón y un baño grande. Desayuno excelentes jugos vino comida, servicio de meseros. Fuimos a cenar al restaurante de carnes del hotel, donde tuvimos que esperar para entrar, luego esperamos mucho tiempo por el pedido y los precios eran altos.

There are great staff at the King David. Our trip was made extra special by the Guest service managers who helped advise and plan our itinerary. Jeremy Dery and Jeremy Weiss we’re excellent in attending to us via email with quick and informative response times (even with the time zone differences). Once we arrived, the Jeremy’s continued to take excellent care of us and ensure everything was ok. They helped us modify and change reservations last minute and even got us a late check out! For breakfast, dine with Isaac, Hony, or Wassef. They are entertaining and fun, a great way to start the day. They take care of you and help you order custom breakfasts to your liking. Ibrahim was a great help when we stayed by the pool.

O my God... where do I begin?... The hospitality & love the staff shows is apart from anything I've experienced in Jerusalem! It is the.most moderately priced hotel (yay for that!), but the breakfast you get is nutritious & vast enough, the mint teas or coffees you can pour yourself throughout the day are a very special touch, and if you need a pick-me up lunch or dinner they make that available to you, too, with no hassle just love, and it's delicious! They renovated the 3rd floor, which is really special with marble floors, a big TV screens and very nice rooms! Lower floors are less expensive & modest, but they're all you need when you're on a pilgrammage, and was perfect for me! Also... this is the clincher: you begin the Walk of Jesus from this very point to the Garden of Gethsemane along Palm Sunday Road, then through Lion's Gate and Via Dolorosa to the very, very Church of the Holy Sepulchre! And this, you must walk for the full experience or you're seriously short-changing yourself! - Which means, you should be based at this hotel! The best upscale & quaint restaurant & cafe is right beside the Hotel and everyone says they ate the ery best shewarma of their lives here! Also... another clincher: the Mount of Olives Hotel is right beside the Ascension rock from whence Jesus ascended! A must visit! Orthodox churches & monasteries are all around the Hotel so again, a perfect choice for Orthodox Christians, and remember, you can walk to Old Town Jerusalem from here or take a local bus! And you have the best wide angle view of Jerusalem from the Lookout Point, overlooking the Dome of the Rock & the Golden Gate! And on a personal note: someone stole my iPhone from the OldCity, so I had to ask staffers umpteen times to use their mobile phones for whatsapp communications with my security advisor, and they were always obliging, understanding patient & compassionate! The location of the Jerusalem Panoramic hotel is excellent for visiting sites by foot such as the City of David, mount of olives and the western wall all a 20 minute walk away. Although the valley is very steep so you need to be fit to do these walks. Or you can get the bus from around the corner. The hotel is easily accessible from Ben Guiron airport by taking a train & two buses which takes around an hour. You must buy a rav kav first from the airport and put money on this to use public transport. Cash is not accepted. Be sure to activate your ticket as soon as you get on or you will be fined 100 NIS with no exceptions. The area itself doesn’t have much going for it, there are a few small shops but you are far away from the New Jerusalem, no ATMs, or anywhere to top up your Rav Kav. So it’s best to go out for the day and get everything done then come back at the end of the day. The room is spacious with two very comfy twin beds, two chest of drawers, a wardrobe, desk, chair and kettle. Although the kettle cannot reach the plug from the desk! There are two large windows which have some views of the old city and a balcony you can go out on. There aren’t enough plug sockets, there is only one in the room and one in the bathroom. The tv uses the other plugs. This was an inconvenience as I had to stagger my charging of devices. The air conditioning is very loud at times although I got used to it. There is a mosque near by and the call to prayer is at 4.30am which can be startling when you first hear this as it it’s very very loud! I got used to this after a few days though and could ignore it. I assume this is the same wherever you stay though as it echos round all of Jerusalem. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and combined bath, shower. There is a good stock of toiletries which get replenished. With soap, shampoo, toilet paper, coffee, sugar, paper cups & stirrers. It’s all very dusty and dirty though. The hotel provide an excellent breakfast with fruit juice, tea, milk, fruit, salad, meats, pitta breads, toast, butter, jam, potatoes, vegetables, fried & scrambled eggs. On some days pastries and cake as well. The view is excellent you can see a panoramic view of Jerusalem which is such an incredible way to start the day. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and can sort any issues out for you. The TV didn’t work for my first night but I asked the worker and he fixed it by the time I returned the next day which was great. On a down note the hotel is in serious need of renovation, there is a lot of dust, dirty floors, plug sockets falling out, chipped paint work. The Jerusalem Panoramic hotel is fab if you want a no frills experience. The location is great for sightseeing in the day, with many sites within walking distance or a short bus or taxi journey. I was so lucky that my travel agent in Cairo booked this hotel for me. It was perfect for me. The breakfast was yummy, my room was spotlessly clean, and it was a simple bus ride from the old town. Taking a bus would normally make me wonder, but trust me, the short bus ride was so simple and cheap and was a great way to take in the entire city . I am a 68 year old woman and was traveling solo. This hotel is nestled in a friendly, safe neighbourhood and at sundown...well Its Mount Olives, so the view a 10/15 walk away was extraordinary. ! The staff at this hotel were the kindest of any hotel anywhere that I have stayed anywhere in the world. I know this is strong statement but it is so. I will return to the Commodore Hotel, Mount Olives, Jerusalem again next year. I am so lucky to have stayed here.

This is not the first time I stay at Victoria Hotel in Jerusalem. They did a full remodeling and looks and feels as a 5 stars hotel. friendly staff thru out makes you feel special. Great hotel with friendly service. Ramzy the hotel general manager was attentive and polite to guests. Only 15 minute walk to Holy sepulchre church through Damascus gate. La verdad que nos sorprendió de inmensa manera. Incluso nos pareció mejor que en las fotografías. Las habitación amplias, confortables y sobre todo muy limpias. El baño, de igual manera, muy amplio, moderno y limpio. La ducha una autentica maravilla, amplia y con la presión y temperatura del agua perfecta. Además nuestras habitaciones incluían un amplio balcón donde sent**** comodamente con vistas a la ciudad antigua de Jerusalén. La cama, amplia y muy cómoda. El servicio muy atento y simpático. Nos ayudó y nos hizo sentirnos muy cómodos en todo momento. En el último piso hay un bar donde poder tomar algo tranquilamente y con unas maravillosas vistas a toda la zona antigua de Jerusalén. La ubicación también es muy buena, situado en la zona nueva árabe y cerca de varias puertas de la muralla que dan acceso a la ciudad antigua. El desayuno, tipo buffet, muy amplio y de gran calidad.
