The room is spacious, facilities are actually good. the private onsen in room is not huge one enough for 2. speaker there are using a good brand, foods are good, just make sure you got some snacks for yourself before going in. they do provide some snacks .

The hotel is short distance away from the major sightseeing spots at jozankei, but still walkable distance. That allows a tranquil and relaxing environment which you can truly enjoy the stay and immerse yourself into the nature. The resort is beautiful and room is super spacious. The buffet is wonderful. All the food are very fresh which make you feel very healthy. The onsen are nice. However, I found the temperature of outdoor bath too high. I feel recharged after the stay, both physically and mentally.

I loved Nukumori No Yado Furukawa! I was an American solo traveler, but my wife is Japanese (we have 2 boys), so I am very familiar with Japanese culture. I wanted to go to a place that Japanese people would love, not a tourist-focused place. From the moment I entered, the service was excellent. I was greeted, checked in quickly, then accompanied to my room for explanations of how everything operates. My room was very comfortable. The facilities, including bath area, foot soaking areas, lobby, lounges, etc. - were all clean and comfortable. The lounge next to the lobby was a cozy place to relax, and most of the lounges included food and drink during at least some point of the day. I visited in mid-October so the leaves were changing color and the temperature outside was crisp but not too cold. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. I hope to return again with the rest of my family. Highly recommended!

Sólo tuvimos una noche para permanecer en este hermoso paraíso 🥲🤍 Fue la mejor estancia de nuestra viaje de 10 días en Japón y definitivamente estaríamos de vuelta para permanecer aquí otra vez 🤍 Ubicación: en la ciudad de Jozankei Onsen que es aproximadamente una hora + fuera de Sapporo. Sin duda si estás en un grupo, sólo reserva un camión, fue alrededor de $80++ para 3 de nosotros! De lo contrario, recuerde reservar el shuttle de autobús Onsen temprano a priori 🥹 La zona alrededor de Onsen no es mucho más que otras casas Onsen, un pequeño café y otros lugares de fotos turísticas. Back to the Ryokan: this was my first experience being in one and I'm so glad I chose this place! I stayed here for four nights during the Snow Festival. The location is near the main street of Susukino and very convenient. However, I found the hotel's operations lacking, as the reception was often unattended in the mornings. The twin room was quite cramped for two people, making it difficult to pack and unpack. With only three laundry machines (one of which was broken), the facilities felt insufficient for the size of the hotel. While the breakfast had a good variety and didn't get boring, don't set your expectations too high for the 'signature' seafood bowls

The newness of the hotel was inviting. Having chosen the Corner Junior Suite room, it was extremely comfortable for my family with 2 boys. 1 bathroom felt abit slower waiting for my turn but I can easily go for a shower and use the onsen as well!! Couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the Onsen level was so grand and efficient. They have a level dedicated to the onsen pools and shower facilities, another level for lounging and gym. My kids wanna go back to this hotel again.

El hotel ofrece un servicio de autobús desde la estación de Sapporo (terminal de autobuses), pero las reservas solo se pueden realizar por teléfono. No se aceptan solicitudes por correo electrónico. Llegamos un domingo y el autobús ya iba lleno al salir de la estación, así que conviene reservar con antelación. El hotel es algo antiguo, aunque los baños públicos parecen haber sido renovados recientemente. Las piscinas onsen públicas son grandes y relajantes, pero el suelo de baldosas de piedra puede estar resbaladizo tras un uso prolongado, así que tenga cuidado al caminar por la zona de baños. El bufé ofrece una buena variedad de platos. Disfruté especialmente de la sopa miso de vieiras, el sushi artesanal y los postres. El restaurante era animado y estaba lleno de familias japonesas y turistas extranjeros. Un pequeño inconveniente fue la fruta de temporada, como el lichi. Sería mejor que el hotel se asegurara de lavar bien la fruta antes de servirla. La conexión wifi del hotel es potente y estable, a diferencia del gran hotel spa del lago Toya en el que me alojé hace unos días.

Bed is rock hard. After 4 nights, I have serious back ache, plus I'm lacking in sleep, due to how hard and uncomfortable the bed was. The pool facility wasn't fully open (it only does so in August). The last week in July at least opens the some of the outside area for use, but it doesn't fully open until August. They'd also made the 25m outside pool a wipeout/ninja obstacle course so, if you want to actually swim [do some lengths etc] then the only place you can do this was initially only open in August and even then it is now taken over by an obstacle. The indoor sections are open all year round. You have to pay extra to access the slides - not too crazy at 500 or 600yen depending on the day for unlimited access (you're given a wristband). Breakfast was ok. Wide variety of foods - some of which I wouldn't normally associate with breakfast, but still nice to have choices. Signage claims it gets busy after 8am. This is definitely not true - it's busy when it first opens at 7am and then slowly gets quieter over the 7~10 opening times (last entry at 9:30). Can't speak about weekends tho. Shuttle bus is busiest at the 5pm time slot. Overall, a ”resort” that claims to be 4 stars it most certainly isn't. 2 stars yes. 2.5 maybe. But the whole place just feels quite dated and far from the luxury expected from a ”4 star hotel”. Apart from the bed as I've already mentioned, the room was a good enough size but all the decor and controls were old. The Aircon control was worn and glitchy (button presses would turn it off etc) but at least it worked and made the room the temp we wanted. The lighting panel has had so many changes there are stickers on it to blank out buttons which no longer function - fair enough, but maybe spend a bit of money on a decent upgrade??? This hotel isn't cheap!
