Requested for a higher floor away from the bar but got a room on the 6th floor, just right above the bar on the 3rd floor. Rooms are not sound proof so we could hear the bar playing music till midnight plus we can hear sounds from the other room when walking in the corridor. On our last day we decided to have the hotel breakfast and the live meat grilling station started producing a lot of smoke, making the entire hotel lobby choked up with smoke due to poor ventilation. Had to shift outdoors to continue our meal. Location is also far from most attractions but it was not much of a problem since grab rides are easily available an affordable.

The hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

If you are looking for a place that is away from the noise you can consider this hotel, it’s not that far from Nagoya and Grand Batam mall with grab which cost about IDR60-75k depending on the choice of vehicle. The room we got was worth the price paid for but I recommend for lake view as the one I chose was the view of the garden but what I see is the apartment just across our windows. The room is well maintained and clean, nice and comfy bed and pillows. Do take note that you hear music from morning till almost 10pm which was played from the open bar even I was on the 8th floor. Those who are thinking of using the gym, there is only 1 treadmill and the rest of the electric equipments are not working but you can do your run outside as the area is a gated private residential. Food for breakfast was provided with many options and my daughter and I was very happy with the varieties and I was surprised that they even have steamed sweet potatoes and tapioca which I have not seen in most places I’ve been, it was very thoughtful of them. The staffs are very friendly and always ready when you need help and kudos to the restaurant team that serves breakfast, they are very attentive and fast and stayed calm even when the place was packed of people on the weekends . Overall my stay was very pleasant and happy to come back again.

La única gripe es que la prueba de sonido es bastante pobre. Me sorprendió a las 4:00 por alguien que golpeaba una puerta. El ruido de tráfico también es audible en el nivel 5. También hay un vacío por debajo de la puerta adyacente a la siguiente habitación. La calidad del sonido, lo que dijo, la difusión del desayuno fue buena con un acogedor Starbucks en el sitio.

His helpful attitude and dedication made a very positive impression on us and added warmth to the overall experience. The environment of the residence is peaceful and relaxing. Unlike hotels located in crowded tourist areas, this property offers a calmer atmosphere that feels more suitable for families or travelers who simply want to rest and unwind. The surroundings are quiet, and the overall ambiance is comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the room tidy, and the facilities provided were sufficient for a family stay. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment-style setup gave a more homely feeling compared to a standard hotel room. One thing to take note of is the location. The residence is located quite far from Batam’s main city or town area, roughly around 20 minutes away depending on traffic. This means you may need extra planning if you intend to travel frequently into town for shopping or dining. Fortunately, the property provides a scheduled shuttle bus service, which is very helpful. However, guests will need to follow the shuttle timing strictly, as it operates based on a fixed schedule. Overall, Panbill Residence Serviced Apartment offers a comfortable and relaxing stay with excellent hospitality from the staff. While the location may not be the most convenient for those wanting quick access to the city, it is still a good choice for families or travelers looking for a peaceful accommodation experience in Batam.

The resort is located at a good location and the sea view room had a great view of the Barelang Bridge and the sea.. The staffs at the resort are friendly and always carrying a big smile.. Free shuttle service with a fast responding WhatsApp chat ensure everything is smooth.. It will be better if there are more restaurants in this resort.. currently, I think there are only 3 after walking around the resort… one below the check-in lobby, one at the beach club and one seafood restaurant

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Great location and value for money. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Room was relatively clean except ants on the table. However the toilet was a little dirty. The sink kept getting clogged. Ac was great and cold. The lift is very slow.

IHG. Holiday Inn. Se parece que este hotel en Batam ha sido descuidado. Muchas de las instalaciones carecen de mantenimiento. La piscina, gimnasio, club infantil .....la lista se mantiene. El personal es excelente. Pero por qué no se ha mantenido bien cuando es tan popular. Covid tomó la chauvinista en todo el mundo. Pero muchos hoteles han vuelto a la calle y están recibiendo a los huéspedes con una esperanza renovada. Los hoteles necesitan actualizar constantemente para que los huéspedes deseen seguir volviendo. Caminos de pie, cuerpo picante después de dormir en la cama y baños que carecen son algunas de las características del Holiday Inn Batam. El hotel es un hotel muy bueno si se mejora en el mantenimiento. No es demasiado tarde para empezar. Esperando volver en 2026 si hay mejoras.
