After a friendly & fast registration, we were told the room wasn't ready yet which was fine since we were an hour early. Decided to have coffee at the hotel's coffeehouse while we waited. About 15 minutes later the very nice front desk officer (didn't take down his name, sorry!) actually came over to our table with our room key to let us know our room was ready. Our room was a smoking room on the 17th floor. It was a very decent sized room with a comfortable extra sized king bed & large tv screen. Fridge & aircon was cold, bathrobes & slippers provided. Loved that each side of the bed had power outlets. The bathroom mirror has backlit lights that are controlled with a touch button on the mirror itself. Water pressure & water temperature control were great. The shower stall was big, which I appreciate. I have to make a special mention about breakfast. Halfway through our meal, we saw some of the staff standing by the wall. They stood evenly spaced out all through the restaurant. I thought, hmm, maybe a vip is coming. Music came on, so then i thought somebody's birthday? My jaw dropped a bit when they started dancing haha. I've gone to dinners that came with a show but this was the first time I've seen a breakfast show. Bravo though to all the staff for being so sporting!! Not sure if breakfast needed a show but it was certainly very entertaining lol. Food was good, amazing spread with lots of variety. Seating was spaced out so it didn't feel cramped. Lovely decor & quick on the plate clearing. All in all, this was a very good stay. My first time at a harris property & definitely won't be my last.

Stayed at Panbill Residence Serviced Apartment during my family trip to Batam, and overall it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. This place is suitable for travelers who prefer a quieter and more relaxing environment instead of staying right in the busy city center. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the staff service. The team was very friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever needed. I would especially like to mention a staff member named Berkat, who truly went the extra mile to accommodate our requests and ensure that our stay was comfortable. His helpful attitude and dedication made a very positive impression on us and added warmth to the overall experience. The environment of the residence is peaceful and relaxing. Unlike hotels located in crowded tourist areas, this property offers a calmer atmosphere that feels more suitable for families or travelers who simply want to rest and unwind. The surroundings are quiet, and the overall ambiance is comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the room tidy, and the facilities provided were sufficient for a family stay. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment-style setup gave a more homely feeling compared to a standard hotel room. One thing to take note of is the location. The residence is located quite far from Batam’s main city or town area, roughly around 20 minutes away depending on traffic. This means you may need extra planning if you intend to travel frequently into town for shopping or dining. Fortunately, the property provides a scheduled shuttle bus service, which is very helpful. However, guests will need to follow the shuttle timing strictly, as it operates based on a fixed schedule. Overall, Panbill Residence Serviced Apartment offers a comfortable and relaxing stay with excellent hospitality from the staff. While the location may not be the most convenient for those wanting quick access to the city, it is still a good choice for families or travelers looking for a peaceful accommodation experience in Batam.

Hotel is still going through some upgrading at the back of the building. Which does not affect the guest at all. Was taken aback by the height and transparent lifts welcoming us. Very grand entrance indeed. However, the colour is out dated. Is it supposed to be underwater theme or inside a ship theme. But the most distinct feature that struck my nose was the air freshener. I really don't like it. Apart from that, room was spacious, clean & bed a little soft for my liking. Toilets big and clean. But I noticed at the under side of the toilet bowl is not cleaned properly. Bathing liquid is not enough for 3 of us. Would be better if wall mounted pumps used instead of small refillable travel bottles. Breakfast spread is substantial and tasty. With the affordable price. Will definitely come again.

Se dio una habitación de fumadores mientras que había pedido una habitación no fumadora en mi reserva. Tuvo que pedir un cambio de habitación. La puerta de la habitación era difícil de abrir a pesar de utilizar dos tarjetas de acceso. De nuevo tuvo que pedir al receptor que se aseguren nuestras puertas de la habitación. Así que hubo algún retraso antes de que podamos realmente descansar después de un largo día. Se proporcionaron instalaciones básicas como el kit dental, el champú y lavado del cuerpo. La habitación era de una magnífica dimensión. El desayuno estaba bien y tiene una estación Maggie. Es sólo un 5-10 minutos de coche al centro de ferry Batam.

The rooms were nice and clean. My only issue was with the breakfast. While the breakfast buffet had a good variety, the overall quality was disappointing. The rice was hard and dry, the potato wedges seemed steamed rather than fried, the noodle soup lacked flavour, the spaghetti was overcooked, the drinks were diluted, and the curry chicken contained many small bones. In addition, food items were not replenished promptly, and several pots were empty for extended periods. The coffee machine was also not working on the days we dined there, and when we pressed the ”Milo” option, plain hot water came out of the coffee machine. Unless there are improvements to the breakfast service and food quality, I would likely skip the buffet on a future stay. With that being said, my family and I enjoyed the iftar dinner.

We are a couple that loves a mix of relaxation and adventure, so we decided to try the ATV riding offered at the resort. It was an absolute blast. Racing through the trails together brought a fantastic rush of adrenaline and added an exciting, adventurous spark to our romantic vacation. The staff guiding the ATV experience were professional, safety-conscious, and made sure we had the best time possible.Of course, no luxury stay is complete without great food, and Montigo Resorts delivered perfectly on that front. Our package included a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, which quickly became something we looked forward to every day. The spread was incredibly generous, featuring a wide variety of both local and international dishes. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the live cooking stations to the fresh pastries and tropical fruits. Starting our mornings together over a delicious, hearty breakfast with beautiful resort views set the perfect tone for the rest of our day.What made this trip truly amazing was how seamlessly the resort blended high-energy fun with peaceful romance. Whether we were splashing around in our private pool, getting mud-soaked on the ATV tracks, or relaxing in our spotless villa, every moment felt special. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel valued from check-in to check-out. It was the perfect escape for me and my fiancé, allowing us to connect, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy a flawless blend of luxury and adventure. We left Montigo Resorts feeling completely refreshed and deeply in love with the place, and we already cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

Lo que me gustaba es la vista de Batam. ¡Yo seré honesto, quería quedarme en el Turi Resort, donde habitualmente me quedé, pero estaban totalmente reservados. Así que traté de la vista de Batam, y me quedé flabberga. Tengo una habitación en el edificio principal con vistas al mar, y fue increíble. Las habitaciones han sido renovadas y son limpias, modernas y cómodas. Hi Joices, my reviews , is this good for all ? I recently stayed at AP Premier Hotel and I must say the experience was truly outstanding. The main reason I continue choosing this hotel is because of the exceptional customer service provided by the staff. A special appreciation to Joices, Wani, Alin, Yani, and Salsa for their warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness throughout my stay. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of. The hotel facilities and environment perfectly suited all my needs, making the stay both relaxing and enjoyable. Beyond the names mentioned, every member of the team — from room service, housekeeping, welcoming staff, to the drivers — shared one common objective: putting the customer first. Their teamwork, dedication, and genuine hospitality are truly commendable. I would also like to sincerely thank the hotel management for employing and nurturing such excellent staff. It clearly reflects the hotel’s high standards and commitment towards customer satisfaction. Great work to the entire AP Premier team — keep up the excellent service!

Big shout out to the bell boy for being so accommodating throughout our stay. The hotel is a bit old, although efforts are being made to upkeep it. Location wise it is pretty near to the eateries and commercial hubs. Breakfast, however, is a bit on the disappointing end. They really could've done better on the food quality. For the price I really can't complain much, although it's my first time in batam I do wonder if it is possible to get a better place for what I'm paying.

IHG. Holiday Inn. It seems like this hotel at Batam has been neglected. Many of the amenities are lacking in maintenance. The pool, gym, kids club.....the list goes on. Staff are excellent. But why has the hotel not kept up with maintaining it well when it's such a popular hotel. Covid took havoc world wide. But many hotels have bounced back and are welcoming guests with renewed hope. Hotels needs to constantly upgrade so that guests want to keep coming back. Slippery walkways, itchy body after sleeping on the bed and toilets that lack are some of the features at Holiday Inn Batam. Time to see how you can improve your rating. Its a great hotel if you improve on the upkeep. Never too late to start. Looking forward to coming back in 2026 if there are improvements.
