UUsuario invitadoHotel de tesoro. Se encuentra bajo los pies de la montaña. El entorno es elegante y con un tono de color, la vista del diseñador es muy buena. La habitación es grande, las instalaciones están completas y la limpieza es muy limpia. Más para un servicio, la comida del hotel también es muy deliciosa. El personal de servicio es suave y detallado, se comunicará con el tiempo de la tienda, se lo recibirá entusiasta y ajustará la temperatura de la habitación de antemano. Nos sentimos cómodos para hacer el viaje lleno. Al principio había reservado un día, pero me gustaba mucho, y continué. Hay un gato en el hotel, los niños les gusta mucho, persiguen y juegan con gatos. Después de Dali, debe ser nuestra primera opción. (en realidad, más bonitas que las fotos)

Breakfast was beyond expectation.. a real bonus point! The owners and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful - showing us around, and sharing places worth visiting.
Definitely recommending this place! Will come back again.

Not only was the location amazing (the hotel overlooks the Erhai and Cangshan, making breakfasts and any meals eaten extremely picturesque and peaceful) but the staff was incredibly kind, doing everything they could to ensure we were comfortable with our stay. On the day of our arrival, a staff came to pick us up from the taxi and carried our luggage to the hotel, making sure we wouldn't get lost. On our last day, another staff member took us to the bus station, carrying our bags and waiting until the bus came to pick us up. The hotel is located just off the main street, still next to the main shopping area, but allowing for a more quiet and peaceful environment. Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the furniture to the rooms to the plants. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful and welcoming, Cloud House! Appreciate you!!!

Ubicación: El hotel goza de una excelente ubicación en la orilla sur del lago Erhai. Basta con una excursión de un día en coche para explorar la ruta oeste y otro día para explorar la ruta este. Se puede dar de comer a las gaviotas justo abajo y dar un paseo en barco. El transporte es extremadamente práctico. La ubicación del hotel en la orilla sur del lago Erhai, con vistas desde la ventana orientada al norte, crea la ilusión de estar en la orilla del mar, dada la considerable distancia entre las orillas norte y sur.
Instalaciones del hotel: Las instalaciones del hotel son nuevas, limpias y ordenadas. Muchos de los elementos son inteligentes, y la atención al detalle refleja el esmero del dueño del hotel, lo que resulta en una experiencia general muy buena. Recomiendo encarecidamente la habitación con baño termal; un baño relajante después de un día de turismo es increíblemente relajante.
Servicio del hotel: El dueño fue increíblemente amable y respondió con paciencia a todas mis preguntas sobre viajes. El desayuno también estuvo delicioso, un comienzo perfecto para nuestro viaje. Nos recibió con calidez cada vez que nos vimos, haciéndonos sentir especialmente bienvenidos. Con mucho equipaje, el hotel nos ofreció servicio de recogida y regreso al aeropuerto y coche, e incluso el propietario nos ayudó personalmente con las maletas. Fueron muy amables con los niños, que quisieron charlar con él.
En general, el viaje fue excelente y la estancia en el hotel fue maravillosa. Tanto si prefiere relajarse y desconectar en el hotel como si, como nosotros, sale a explorar todos los días y visita los lugares de interés, le recomendamos encarecidamente alojarse en el Hotel Qianyu.
Por último, le deseamos al propietario mucho éxito y prosperidad.

JJovin_WongI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dali Ancient Town Meishan Guesthouse, and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way.
Location – unbeatable and worry-free
The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. As soon as you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful ancient streets and alleys, full of local character. 2-3 mins walk away from the Bars. Attractions, cafes, shops, and amazing food are all within walking distance, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay felt completely worry-free.
Service – warm, genuine, and unforgettable
The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is without a doubt the host. The lady boss is unbelievably friendly, considerate, and welcoming. She is super nice, enthusiastic, and very meticulous in everything she does. From contacting me in advance, patiently explaining routes, to sharing travel tips and local suggestions, she made me feel taken care of even before I arrived. Staying here truly felt like coming home rather than staying at a guesthouse.
What made this stay truly special was the personal connection. She even invited me to join a barbecue with her and her friends. We had drinks, chatted late into the night, and shared stories about our cultures, life views, and experiences. Even though I only stayed for two nights, that evening made my time in Dali unforgettable. I felt incredibly lucky to have arrived back just in time for the barbecue.
The Bai Jiu, the Yi Zu-style barbecue pork, and the homemade dumplings she made were all fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Even small details were fun, like the pot cover shaped like the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy, which gave us a good laugh. It was one of those nights you don’t plan for, but it’s the highlight of the trip that you will remember for a long time. 😎
Room & Sleep Quality – quiet, comfortable, and well designed
The room itself was quiet and very comfortable, with good sound insulation and a thoughtful renovation design that blends modern comfort with traditional charm. The bedding was clean and high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I slept extremely well every night. The entire guesthouse is beautifully designed, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.
Value – exquisite and worth every penny
This is a highly cost-effective and exquisite accommodation. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, from the design to the service. It perfectly balances the charm of the ancient town with modern convenience. It’s absolutely worth experiencing, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.
Final thoughts
I returned home a few days ago, but when I think back on my trip to Yunnan, Dali still stands out as the most chill and relaxing place and Meishan Guesthouse is a big reason why. The friendly host, the warm atmosphere, and the meaningful conversations made this stay truly special.
If I could give 11 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely be back!!!

The staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and also the milk and soup before bedtime were lovely.
With the calm style of the hotel, I would prefer a ”over 14/16” policy, as tge kids staying there could be heard throughout the property, taking away from the calm and peacefulness.

Esta es sin duda la casa de huéspedes más acogedora en la que me he alojado; ¡es un destino perfecto en sí misma!
Desde la llegada hasta la salida, cada día transcurrió con una cálida atención. La casa de huéspedes, dirigida por un veterano, me transmitió una enorme sensación de seguridad.
Lo que más valoro de esta casa de huéspedes es su ritmo de vida relajado. Por las tardes, podía disfrutar de un té y leer en el soleado patio, o contemplar las montañas Cangshan y el lago Erhai desde la terraza de la azotea, sin hacer nada más que soñar despierto. El cuidado diseño de las zonas comunes se hace patente en todas partes; cada rincón es perfecto para tomar fotos.
Si buscas algo más que una cama, un espacio cálido para relajarte, disfrutar de hermosos paisajes y conectar con amigos, ¡este es tu lugar!

Rric123The guest house owners were very initiative. They picked us up from the Dali Railway station. The rooms were clean. Since there are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, we had a big room and a smaller room joined together with 2 large beds. The view was amazing.
Upon arrival, it was 4.45pm, and we asked for recommendations of where to eat. However, since it's neither dinner nor lunch time, the owner Mr Hao suggested that we eat in the guesthouse itself. The guest house auntie cooked for us the best rice noodles that we have eaten so far. Springy white noodles in a bowl of hot flavourful broth. My kids slurped it all up and polished the whole big bowl.
When we asked for recommendations on local eating places, Mr Hao gave us a whole list of his specially curated food places, which we managed to try 2 of them. And indeed they were good.
The downside was that there were no coffee or tea sachets in the room. But they said they will make it for us and can send it to our rooms. They mentioned that they have a tea room. And so we enjoyed the 2 types of brewed puer tea while Mr Hao explained a little about the tea.
Personally, I feel that since they have a special tea room to enjoy tea, sending sachet or tea bags would be inappropriate and a disrespect to the art of enjoying Puer tea.
Location wise, it has a good view of the lake. And it's quiet. It's not exactly near the old town but we took a taxi (20 mins) to the old town. Thankfully, we didn't stay at the old town as it's way too crowded, and we felt it's a tourist trap. However, near the guest house, there were many highly recommended restaurants.
The guest house has a dining area on the 1st floor. One thing that I really enjoyed about this place is the dining area. The lady that cooked the meal for us looked like a typical chinese grandma (which reminded me of my late grandma) that she cooked the food so deliciously with passion. While we had our breakfast she would sit at another table, she wasnt staring , just casually sitting while browsing her phone or ensuring we finish our food but her presence reminded me of when my late grandma would sit and watch us eat to ensure we have no leftovers. Lol. It was an oddly familiar and nostalgic feeling that we laughed about. But we do get the homey feel, which we really liked. The guest house also had a laundry room for guests to use.
The guest house owners were very initiative, friendly, and helpful. Anything we need, we just let Mr Hao know, and he would reply. He even offered to send us back to the highway station.
It's definitely highly recommended. And I would ask my friends that should they come to Dali, they should stay in this place. It's just perfect for us.
