UUsuario invitado¡Esta es una joya entre las pensiones! Reservamos la habitación Lingxi con vistas al mar de 270 grados. La habitación era espaciosa y tenía un diseño estupendo. Incluso con un tatami extra para nuestro hijo alto, no era nada apretada. La vista era absolutamente impresionante; todos exclamamos ”¡Guau!” en cuanto entramos. Podíamos ver la montaña Cangshan a lo lejos y todo el lago Erhai cerca. Incluso podíamos ver la puesta de sol desde la habitación.
El gatito, Saipan, era tan mimoso y tenía una personalidad maravillosa; ¡nos encantó!
El desayuno, la merienda y el servicio de traslado al aeropuerto fueron excelentes. Las toallas y la ropa de cama estaban limpias, ¡e incluso nos proporcionaron almohadas de espuma viscoelástica! 👍🏻 El personal de la pensión fue cálido y acogedor, como de la familia. ¡Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez!

RRaisha MichelleI highly recommend staying at this B&B! The location, service, hospitality, facilities, amenities, and design are absolutely impressive. We visited for a family trip (Kunming - Lijiang - Dali - Kunming) and stayed at Mogu House Inn (Dali) for 2 days and 1 night.
Since there were 15 of us, it was quite a challenge to arrange transportation, we would have needed 4-5 Didi cars to accommodate everyone and our luggage. I contacted the hotel in advance to request pickup and drop-off service, and they gladly helped arrange vehicles for us. They provided two large vehicles, one for our luggage and another vehicle that comfortably fit all 15 of us. Upon arrival, the Mogu Inn owner & their staff welcome us warmly & politely, they even help to carry in the luggage's for the whole family to our rooms, which is a really big help and we appreciate it very much.
Cleanliness : Spotless clean and comfortable.
Service : Excellent! The owner is attentive, enthusiastic, and incredibly kind. All the staff are friendly and approachable. I’m personally thankful to the receptionist young lady who assisted us throughout our stay, she even arranging last-minute transportation for us to explore Dali city. She was responsive, kind & attentive. Everything you requested or asked she will do her best to help you. So much appreciated.
Breakfast : Complimentary. This was the only hotel on our trip that included breakfast, which was greatly appreciated for breakfast person like our family.
Location : Great location. Near to the west gate of ancient city, walking distance. The hotel surrounded by many restaurants, shops & supermarket, making it incredibly convenient to walk everywhere for food, drink & entertainment.
Transportation : Excellent! Just text them via Wechat request for pick-up or drop-off service, they will promptly assist you.
Facilities : The facilities here were amazing! The beds & pillows are soft, hot water well functioning (no need to wait for showering), the soundproofing was excellent. The room is voice intelligent, fully automated with smart voice control for the curtains and light, our whole family was incredibly amazed.
Decoration : Breathtaking! The inn is beautifully decorated from the exterior to the rooms, very aesthetic and stylish. My whole family was amazed!
Extra Note : We were pleasantly surprised that the washing machine and dryer are free to use, unlike other hotels we stayed at. This was especially helpful for our group, which included children.
In summary, our stay here is beyond expectation. The warm & attentive service and hospitality we received from the owners and the receptionist was truly heartwarming and has created unforgettable memories to us. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Dali and recommend it to friends and family.

NNEWJCloud House Hotel is hands down the best lakeside stay we've ever experienced! From the moment we arrived, the service was beyond 5 stars — the staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely caring. They even came to pick us up and carried our bags, which was such a thoughtful touch.
When we wanted to explore the lake on an e-bike, they not only showed us where to rent one but also helped communicate with the rental shop. Truly above and beyond! In the evenings, they served delicious snacks and even prepared a comforting midnight soup — it felt like home.
One of the most memorable moments was when I requested a piece of cake for my kid’s birthday. The next morning at breakfast, they surprised us with a beautifully decorated plate and a complimentary slice of cake. My child was overjoyed and said it was the best birthday ever! The cake was not only thoughtful but also absolutely delicious.
We were also lucky to be upgraded to a room with the best view — waking up to the stunning lake and mountain scenery was magical. The bathroom was modern, clean, and very comfortable.
To top it all off, the whole hotel is beautifully designed and incredibly Instagrammable. There's even a super cute cat that made our stay feel even more homely and warm. Halal food is conveniently located just about 100 meters away, which was a huge plus for us.
We absolutely loved everything about Cloud House and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended!

Ubicación: El hotel goza de una excelente ubicación en la orilla sur del lago Erhai. Basta con una excursión de un día en coche para explorar la ruta oeste y otro día para explorar la ruta este. Se puede dar de comer a las gaviotas justo abajo y dar un paseo en barco. El transporte es extremadamente práctico. La ubicación del hotel en la orilla sur del lago Erhai, con vistas desde la ventana orientada al norte, crea la ilusión de estar en la orilla del mar, dada la considerable distancia entre las orillas norte y sur.
Instalaciones del hotel: Las instalaciones del hotel son nuevas, limpias y ordenadas. Muchos de los elementos son inteligentes, y la atención al detalle refleja el esmero del dueño del hotel, lo que resulta en una experiencia general muy buena. Recomiendo encarecidamente la habitación con baño termal; un baño relajante después de un día de turismo es increíblemente relajante.

JJovin_WongI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dali Ancient Town Meishan Guesthouse, and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way.
Location – unbeatable and worry-free
The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. As soon as you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful ancient streets and alleys, full of local character. 2-3 mins walk away from the Bars. Attractions, cafes, shops, and amazing food are all within walking distance, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay felt completely worry-free.
Service – warm, genuine, and unforgettable
The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is without a doubt the host. The lady boss is unbelievably friendly, considerate, and welcoming. She is super nice, enthusiastic, and very meticulous in everything she does. From contacting me in advance, patiently explaining routes, to sharing travel tips and local suggestions, she made me feel taken care of even before I arrived. Staying here truly felt like coming home rather than staying at a guesthouse.
What made this stay truly special was the personal connection. She even invited me to join a barbecue with her and her friends. We had drinks, chatted late into the night, and shared stories about our cultures, life views, and experiences. Even though I only stayed for two nights, that evening made my time in Dali unforgettable. I felt incredibly lucky to have arrived back just in time for the barbecue.
The Bai Jiu, the Yi Zu-style barbecue pork, and the homemade dumplings she made were all fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Even small details were fun, like the pot cover shaped like the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy, which gave us a good laugh. It was one of those nights you don’t plan for, but it’s the highlight of the trip that you will remember for a long time. 😎
Room & Sleep Quality – quiet, comfortable, and well designed
The room itself was quiet and very comfortable, with good sound insulation and a thoughtful renovation design that blends modern comfort with traditional charm. The bedding was clean and high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I slept extremely well every night. The entire guesthouse is beautifully designed, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.
Value – exquisite and worth every penny
This is a highly cost-effective and exquisite accommodation. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, from the design to the service. It perfectly balances the charm of the ancient town with modern convenience. It’s absolutely worth experiencing, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.
Final thoughts
I returned home a few days ago, but when I think back on my trip to Yunnan, Dali still stands out as the most chill and relaxing place and Meishan Guesthouse is a big reason why. The friendly host, the warm atmosphere, and the meaningful conversations made this stay truly special.
If I could give 11 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely be back!!!

DDELWYNTYo tuve una estupenda estancia en Anyu Dali, y su hospitalidad superó realmente mis expectativas. Desde el momento en que llegamos, el personal fue increíblemente útil, nos ayudó con nuestra equipaje e incluso coordinando con el conductor Didi cuando nos apresuramos a atrapar nuestro ferrocarril. Fueron más allá y más allá proporcionando actualizaciones meteorológicas para nuestro próximo destino, Lijiang, y observando que no estabamos preparados para el frío, nos dieron pensando en las pads de calor.

UUsuario invitadoHabitación: Amplia, luminosa, decoración de gran calidad, el baño es principalmente de mármol y viene con mascarilla facial. El champú y el gel de ducha son de gran calidad.
Servicio: El té de la tarde es muy rico y también hay agua azucarada por la noche. Incluso en mitad de la noche, no hay problema. La recepción es muy dedicada y puede ayudar a los huéspedes a lavar y secar la ropa.
Té: Té y café están disponibles en la recepción antes de las 11 en punto. Puedo decir que te esforzaste mucho en elegir los granos de café. Si el té del día no es el adecuado, existen varios tés de Yunnan o tónicas chinas que se pueden beber con agua caliente. A los padres les encanta este detalle.
Ubicación: Junto a la puerta sur de la ciudad antigua, hay una puerta trasera que puede conducir directamente a la ciudad antigua, lo cual es muy conveniente.
Desayuno: La sala de desayunos es muy cómoda y los fideos de arroz cruzados y los fideos de cerdo estofados están deliciosos.
También hay una terraza al aire libre encima del hotel con buenas vistas. También incluye entradas a las Tres Pagodas y guía.
Originalmente me quedé en la sucursal de Kunming, pero decidí quedarme con ellos en Dali debido a la alta calidad. No me decepcionó e incluso superé mis expectativas. YYuki Serene AngI had an extremely enjoyable stay at Mr Ma’s accommodation. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with genuine warmth and sincere hospitality. Throughout our stay, he assisted us with every need and often went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. We loved our time here so much that we extended our stay to a total of six nights!
We were deeply touched by his generosity and the thoughtfulness he showed every single day. Each morning, he checked in on us, asked if we had slept well, and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a family-run accommodation, and every member of the Ma family was friendly, warm, and welcoming. Mr Ma even took special care to accommodate my daughter’s cat allergy by keeping their cats away from the common areas — a gesture we truly appreciated.
One of the highlights of our stay was the meaningful conversations we shared with the family. We exchanged stories about our respective countries, shared insights about our cultures, and learned so much from one another. These heartfelt chats made our stay feel even more personal, and we genuinely enjoyed connecting on a deeper level beyond the usual host–guest interactions.
The room facilities were excellent — warm blankets, electric heating pads, newly installed air-conditioners, towels, a hair dryer, and a kettle. And every morning, we were greeted with a comforting bowl of noodles lovingly prepared by Mrs Ma — such a heartwarming way to start the day.
The location is ideal as well: close to the bustling streets and ancient town, with the mountains and lake just nearby. We enjoyed sitting on the top-floor balcony in the cool, crisp morning air, taking in the peaceful mountain views. Mrs Ma also shared wonderful food recommendations, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed.
During our stay, we met international travellers from France, and the Ma family communicated effortlessly using translation apps. It’s clear they have plenty of experience hosting guests from around the world. We also made a short trip to Lijiang, arranged through Mr Ma’s recommendation — a comfortable 9-seater car that picked us up directly from the accommodation and dropped us off at our next destination.
I highly, highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area. I am deeply grateful for the kindness and warmth shown to us throughout our stay — right up until the moment we left, when Mr Ma personally helped us with our luggage.
Before you leave, be sure to take a photo with the family, and don’t miss the chance to chat with Mr Ma’s son, who is very eager to practise English with travellers.

地理位置也非常方便：靠近苍山,三月街 ,大里古城，耳海，周围就是山景与湖景。我们特别喜欢每天清晨坐在顶楼阳台，吹着清凉的晨风，欣赏宁静的山景。马太太还推荐了几家美食，我们都吃得非常满意。
在这里，我们还遇到了来自法国的旅客，马家人通过翻译软件和他们沟通毫无障碍，可见他们接待国际旅客的经验十分丰富。我们也根据马先生的推荐去了丽江——是宽敞舒适的九座车，从民宿直接接送，非常方便。
