We had a TERRIBLE experience in this place, that we want to share with everyone. The first day we arrived we booked a safari through the hotel, which did not meet the specified schedules and returned us more than two hours earlier than proposed. The guide never told us why, we understand that it was a quiet day and there were not many animals but that is no reason to return abruptly despite having paid for a full day safari until the afternoon. We politely mentioned this to a lady at the hotel since they managed our tour. Suddenly a man who claimed to be the administrator appeared and told us that if we were not happy with his services to leave. We were shocked, at first we didn't understand. The man named started yelling, apparently he has an anger problem, and literally kicked us out from the hotel. We had paid a very high fee to the same lodge to take us to our next accommodation and the man was the only one who could take us. He grabbed our suitcases and started putting them in the car while he told me that he was stealing coffee from the hotel because he opened my things and saw that I had coffee bags (of course wasn’t the case, that was my coffee). Between screams and disrespect, the lady who also worked at the hotel tried to calm him down (she understood the terrible situation) to which he continued to act violently. We were scared and just wanted to leave. She offered to take us in her car but since there wasn't room for everyone, some of us had to go with the man. We were very afraid on the way, the man crashed into some signs of the new lodge we arrived at. then he opened the door and began to say that he did not want to see us again and that we should leave, that we were not welcome. Really, words are not enough to describe how horrible it was to go through those moments. I have some videos in addition to the photos (tripadvisor won't let me post videos). but there is nothing that can reflect what we feel at that moment. I understand that there can be a misunderstanding anywhere (even when we were right about the tour) but what happened next is something that neither in the most luxurious nor in the cheapest hotel can happen. It was an attack, a lack of respect and an aggression on us, guests and clients. The worst thing is that the hotel denies everything so as not to have any ”bad” comments on networks and in their official response through Facebook they only say we had problems with our transportation and tour guide and that it ”has nothing to do with the accomodation” . It is totally false. Our complaint is against Kruger Riverside Lodge, because it was its administrator who attacked us for no reason. We have already made our complaints with booking and in many places but the man who attacked us always responds with lies and diverting attention to events that never occurred. The truth is only one, they literally kicked us out of the place without caring about anything and treated us in the worst way. Please never go to this place

La amistad y la ayuda del personal fueron excepcionales... el concepto del tren en el puente, el decoro y el diseño y la atención a los detalles dentro del transporte del tren fue fenomenal... no mencionar las magníficas vistas!!! ¡La experiencia de comida y comida fue absolutamente maravillosa! Las unidades de juego fueron divertidas y informativas ... nuestro guía tenía un maravilloso conocimiento de los animales y el bush! ¡Tenemos honestamente el momento más maravilloso!! There is lots of accommodation in Marloth Park and the facilities looked great on the internet which led us to book for 3 nights. However, we were a little taken aback as the unit caters for 4 adults, but the bathroom is really ensuite to the main bedroom. As we were travelling with friends this was quite awkward and eventually we worked out how we would share the facilities. That too was a problem as the bathroom was not particularly inviting - it needed a jolly good clean! The grouting has mould which has taken over. In fact the entire unit requires a thorough clean. We moved the couch to enable us to watch some TV and clearly this couch had not been moved for sometime given what was found under it. So it is unlikely we would return as it was expensive for what was offered. There were no other guests around and we did not see the Manager until late on the third day. We were concerned because we still owed an amount, but no one could assist us with the payment as only the Manager accepts the payments. The general appearance of the guest house is not great. For example, there are two storerooms off the large garage and yet items have just been dumped and left leaning against walls, on the floor and it could so easily be neat and tidy. An old window frame, pieces of wood, some empty plastic bottles are stacked around the garage. The poor washing machine - someone (we presume a staff member) was doing a load of washing when we checked in. There were soap suds pouring out of the door, out of the bottom of the washing machine, out of the back - obviously they had used a hand wash powder and not the correct powder for an automatic machine. This looks like a lovely new AEG washing machine and someone used an old discarded ladies sandal to level the machine. The other comment is that neither the linen on the beds nor the towels felt clean and fresh. There was no where to hang used towels, either in the bedroom or in the bathroom. There was a wire rack over the short glass panel, but we needed to use this to dry the floor mat as there is no door on the shower and the mat gets wet when using the shower.

Está un poco lejos de la puerta del parque nacional Kruger hasta el hotel, ¡a unos 60 km! Pero son unos 25 km hasta la puerta numbi, no demasiado rápido. El hotel no lo dijo, el ambiente es muy bueno, con características, es que las instalaciones son un poco más antiguas, pero muy limpias. protea hotel South Africa es la antigua marca, que luego fue adquirida por Marriott. En cuanto a si existe una marca llamada Marriott, no importa y no ha cambiado mucho. El rendimiento de alto costo y el precio razonable son la clave. Comparado con esos miles de albergues cerca del parque nacional, ¡este lugar es definitivamente una cualidad de conciencia! No te preocupes por el medio ambiente, es muy bueno. No se preocupe por el ruido. muy silencioso. Hay un césped frente a la puerta y una piscina. En resumen, ¡prefiero correr decenas de kilómetros más y venir a vivir! Dormir mejor que nada

I stayed 2 nights at Nkambeni Safari Camp as part of a travel group together with my mum. At arrival we were told to put stickers with the room number on the luggage for delivery. It took extremely long for the luggage to arrive (45min) albeit our room was next to the parking lot. I saw the car including the luggage and 2 guys approaching. I was watching them because I was waiting for it. I saw one guy closing my zip of my suitcase and I got concerned, because I closed my zip (but I did not lock it, my fault). When opening my suitcase the zipped mesh divider inside my suitcase was open (I close it every time). Nothing was missing except a bag with Christmas cookies which was inside my mums suitcase. The next day before leaving for the game drive I closed all the zip’s (inside and outside) and on top I locked my suitcase. When coming back surprisingly I was not able to open my suitcase with my code anymore. I was seeing the front desk, they called the cleaning lady and some manager, telling me that no staff member touched my suitcase. The manager let someone opening up my suitcase by breaking the zip (see picture). And inside the suitcase it was the same situation, the mesh divider inside was open (as I said, I close it every time). I am not accusing the cleaning lady. The room is accessible all the time, the door to the outdoor shower was broken and not lockable anymore plus the staff knew the travel group is on the game drive the whole day! Therefore some staff member went into my room, opened my suitcase with a TSA key or some related tool (somehow the code changed then) and searched trough my stuff. Another bag of German sweets (chocolate almonds) which we put in the shelf „disappeared“. Nothing from my suitcase is missing, not sure what this person was looking for (more food?!). I have left Nkambeni Safari Camp with an unsafe feeling, knowing there work people who are stealing, overstepping boundaries by opening my locked suitcase and the manager was not helpful at all. No compensation or whatsoever was offered to me but obviously I will have to repair the suitcase / replace it. My stay there became a very bad experience, I would never come back and I cannot recommend staying there.

Excelente hostal en un barrio tranquilo, cerca del parque Kruger. La habitación era limpia, el desayuno muy bueno. Mención especial para nuestro huésped que fue increíble. We stayed for 2 nights at this fabulous lodge whilst visiting Kruger National Park. Our room (34) was beautifully appointed and overlooked the pond with its stunning sunsets. On both mornings we were up at 5am heading out on game drives, so I can't comment on the breakfast buffet at the hotel, but they provided us with the most delicious breakfast boxes to take with us (the olive quiche and chocolate muffin were superb!) The evening dinner buffet was excellent. It was lovely, as a vegetarian, to feel well catered for. Also, the entertainment during dinner (live music and local dancers) was very enjoyable. I can highly recommend this hotel.

For the adventure seekers, there’s a Leap Adventures Desk that offers so many adrenaline-filled activities, but the river rafting is an absolute must 🚣‍♂️. There’s even a Day Spa available with trained, friendly therapists ready to tackle all those knots – you can literally feel the stress melting away 💆‍♀️. When it’s time to relax, you can lounge by the pool, cocktail in hand, as the African sun dips below the horizon. Dejaremos buenos recuerdos de nuestras dos noches en el campamento africano. Este lugar es realmente mágico, junto al río. El campamento es muy tranquilo. La tienda de campaña es realmente hermosa y el equipo es muy bueno. Apariencia perfecta. La canasta de almuerzo es genial. Mavis vino a buscarnos para asegurarnos de que todo saliera bien y que fuera linda. También tenemos que lidiar con el personal de mantenimiento de un pequeño problema de agua caliente, el Caballero es muy amigable y rápido. Además, nos gusta el dueño del lugar: ryan, este lindo perro, desayunamos con él. ¡¡ qué lindo!!! Hasta que llegamos, toda la información práctica nos fue enviada a través de whatsapp, perfectamente. ¡¡ recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar, donde te sentirás completamente libre! ¡Muchas gracias al equipo de markers!!!
