LO MENOS BUENO Ninguna cartelera en español (quieras o no somos el país vecino) Sólo inglés y portugués (lógico). Nos pusieron con una niña de 4 años en el último piso habiendo reservado con más de 1 mes de antelación. En baño mal olor. Buffet desayuno muy grande pero con poca variedad, día tras día sin cambios exceptuando en bollerias. Habitaciones mal insonorizadas. En nuestro caso volveríamos a repetir experiencia con ciertos ajustes hablando con recepción.

Piscina deliciosa y tranquila y todos los servicios. Quizá el baño un poco pequeño e incompleto para un 4 estrellas y algo ruidoso por las mañanas. Por segunda vez en mi vida y también en Portugal, me encontré una botella de champán y una tarta obsequio de la casa por mi cumpleaños. Cumple las medidas anti COVUD a rajatabla, siendo un entorno seguro y cómodo. Para volver.

This small hotel has everything you need. Lovely infinity swimming pool with surrounding sunbeds (towels from reception). Comfortable, clean rooms (our was a small double) with modern bathrooms. You need to buy the pods for the in room coffee machine. Soundproofing with patio doors shut was excellent to exclude the noise from the main road. Breakfast was very good. Continental but also bacon and scrambled egg available. An excellent selection of daily freshly made cakes always available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant behind the hotel. There is a private car park accessed by security card. However, it has to be said that the hotel is located on a main road bypassing all the major destinations between Faro and the border with Spain. To walk into Tavira centres involves crossing this main road and there are no pavements and no pedestrian crossing so care must be taken. This was fine for us (middle aged couple) but may be difficult for children and more infirm in which case better to drive into town. There is ample free parking near the new fish/vegetable market which is along the riverside close to the ferry over to the beach.

Estaba en este hotel durante el segundo año en fila tras mi primo que tuvo su boda aquí el año pasado. Absolutamente amo este hotel. La comida es increíble como los servicios ofrecidos por el hotel. Tiene una vibración muy relajada y tranquila. El hotel es un hotel de gran calidad, y el hotel es un hotel de gran calidad. Me alegro de haberlos conocido, también hacen cocktails fantásticos. Otro grito especial a la Equipa de Animación, fueron incansables en sus esfuerzos para implicar a los huéspedes en actividades diarias divertidas alrededor de la piscina y ofrecer un entretenimiento sorprendente en las noches. Fantástico hotel rural situado en plena naturaleza del Algarve y aún así muy bien comunicado, a 15 minutos más o menos de Tavira. Amplisimas habitaciones y baños con unas vistas espectaculares, en la finca hay multitud de plantas y árboles, animales, burro, ovejas, gallinas, pavos reales, tortugas, peces y amigables gatos todos muy bien cuidados. El desayuno no es para nada el típico desayuno de hotel con una gran cantidad de comida de pésima calidad, todo lo contrario hay menos oferta pero de una calidad exquisita, fruta fresca cortada, galletas y bizcocho caseros, bollería no se si casera pero por lo menos artesanal, huevos revueltos de sus propias gallinas, queso fresco y curado, zumo de naranja hecho con las naranjas de la propia finca etc. Nosotros hemos cenado los tres dias en el hotel por comodidad y así evitar desplazamientos nocturnos y ha sido un acierto, al igual que el desayuno la oferta no es muy amplia pero de gran calidad, disponen de una carta de especialidades fija muy interesante y aparte el equipo de cocina propone todos los días una carta diferente con entrantes, principales de pescado y carne a elegir y postre todo ello buenísimo, buen producto, buena ejecución y bien emplatado y a un precio muy razonable,que más se puede pedir. Pero lo mejor de todo es la increíble amabilidad y competencia de absolutamente todo el equipo del hotel. En definitiva una experiencia inolvidable que ha superado nuestras expectativas.

After a day or so staying here, you pickup a theme that this place just needs a big chunk of investment. The villas are rather run down and not matching the decor on the TUI site. Lots of little bodge repairs with exposed mains, lights fittings hanging on by 1 of the 4 screws, missing cupboard doors etc. some of the pictures are also of an unrelated restaurant business down by the beach. The beds themselves are terribly soft and uncomfortable and the “sofa” is just a single bed with two pillows. Unlike other guests, we were lucky enough to get aircon but only on one floor. Would have been unbearably hot for anyone without this! While the cooker was obviously a recent replacement, the kitchen utensils aren’t complete. No bowls, no coffee jug, no kettle, no tumblers or wine glasses, corkscrew not the right size to extract a cork etc. the list goes on. If you’re looking to have breakfast or an evening meal in the villa, you’ll struggle. The pool itself is a lovely temperature but very cloudy and remained so all week. Looks like the filter isn’t up to the job at hand and needs upgrading. While there’s a lovely area for lounging round the pool, there’s a chronic shortage of seats and parasols. You really need to be at the pool before 9:30 to reserve a parasol or you won’t get one all day. There’s easily enough space to triple the number of loungers and parasols and each day you see a steady stream of disappointed faces looking for shade. Some other reviewers have mentioned paying for loungers. This is no longer the case but you need someone to be poolside when they setup and unlock the loungers. The Nora eating area serves basic food but be prepared for a really long wait for service. The staff don’t seem to scan the room so you’re best off walking up to the bar to order and pay. Overall, I think we were lucky with the room and looking at other reviews and pics, I can understand guests frustration and it could have been worse. As a family, we enjoyed the week and learned how to work around the issues but it’s not somewhere I’d recommend and won’t be coming back. We’ve been to similarly priced accommodation in the Algarve on previous years so it’s definitely possible to get better value for your money

If you're looking for a great place to chill Herdade da Corte is where you need to go. A Rio Grande style and feel about it, surrounded by fabulous hilly views, orange, lemon trees, olive groves, and pure adulterated silence. You hear the whisper of the breeze throughout the outdoor areas which have casual seating dotted about, a sweeping view, and a to die for salt-water pool. If you want 5 star service and a butler this isn't the place for you! Our favourite time of the day was a leisurely hour and half munching our way through the buffet breakfast, consisting of 4 different freshly made juices, a good selection of local produce, bread, rolls, pastries and cake, cheese, cold meats, fruits, yoghurt, and natural cereals - while idly looking out to the hills. There's also an array of teas, and the coffee is via a machine which is good - but goat's milk! We've travelled the world extensively and it's rare to find such a place. If you want to jazz up your time there Tavira is charming, along with Tavira Island. You do need a car if you stay at Herdade and want to visit many areas, however, we had read other reviews and knew that - but we just wanted to relax there and do nothing! We stayed 4 days and did venture out 1 afternoon to a restaurant in St Luzia. Local taxi, very nice driver. 20 euro each way (same prices to Tavira) about 15 minutes journey. The owners Joao and Francisco are cool, interesting guys, very helpful, and knowledgeable about the area , local produce, wines, and activities to do there - hiking, etc. Good massage also available in relaxing room. €50 Personally speaking, we dossed (an English word for lazing about) around the pool , helping ourselves to the well-stocked honesty bar, with the occasional beer/glass of wine, absorbed in a few good crime novels. Please note: after breakfast there is NO food available until 7pm. We knew that and brought along our own snacks, nuts etc. The evening menu is mainly cold, very good local produce - oh, please try the prawns (they hot). We tried almost everything on the menu during our stay - couldn't fault anything. My husband arrived completely knackered (another old-school word for tiredness) and after almost 4 days rooted to the place said he felt like the Six Million Dollar Man! Un hotel de 10, muy bueno de precio, cerca de la ciudad y muy muy acogedor. El parking no es muy grande, pero no tuvimos problemas en aparcar tanto de día como de noche en ningún momento de los días que estuvimos. Ya cuando entras, ves la recepción donde te explican en buen castellano español, portugués o inglés, todo lo que necesitas saber del hotel. Las habitaciones son grandes. En nuestro caso la habitación contaba con 2 camas simples haciendo de cama de matrimonio, una mesa escritorio con su silla, una lámpara de pie, una alfombra muy mullida, un televisor y un sofá esquinero donde podría haber dormido una 3º persona sin problema alguno. Contaba además con un baño con placa de ducha, y de extra champú, gel, crema, gorro de ducha y gomas para el pelo; y una terraza la cuál tenía 2 hamacas de plástico pequeñas y una mesita, toda ella con vistas a los jardines traseros del hotel. Una habitación la verdad muy confortable. En la terraza encontrábamos el restaurante, el cuál solo puedo opinar sobre el buffet de desayuno pues no comí o cené allí. El mismo contaba con un poco de todo, tenía su parte de comida cocinada (bacon, frijoles, mini quiches, huevos revueltos, etc), la parte de embutidos, la de frutas, la de cafés y tés, y la de bollería y panes de varios tipos. La comida no era de 10, pero estaba muy buena y sin límite a lo que puedas comer. Lo mejor sin duda, la parte de la piscina y de las copas. Contábamos con la opción de varias hamacas y tumbonas tanto cerca de la piscina como alejada de ella. Ya a gusto de consumidor, pero había opción a todo, que eso es importante si quieres por ejemplo vigilar a los niños que están nadando como estar lejos leyendo un libro en paz. La barra de copas y cóckteles estaba bien, buen servicio como en recepción y gran variedad de alcoholes, incluyendo bebidas sin alcohol para embarazadas o para quienes disfrutan de un buen surtido de zumos. El precio es un poco elevado, pero la ubicación muy apacible para beber. Lo recomendaría? Sin duda. Volvería a ir? No solo volvería a ir sino que es probable que lo haga.

Hoteles en Algarve: Este hotel dispone de excelentes instalaciones. El lugar perfecto para disfrutar del buen tiempo de Algarve. Cerca de una fantástica playa. El paquete de elección fue de alojamiento y desayuno. El único punto débil fue incluso la calidad de los productos en el desayuno. Los zumos son de muy poca calidad, mini pastelaria casi inexistente y waffles muchos malos. Lo mismo sucede a la cena. Decidimos cenar en el hotel y el bufete es muy pobre y sin calidad. No sé si está relacionado con los paquetes all inclusive que la mayoría de los huéspedes tienen, pero creo que es un punto que debe mejorar para la satisfacción de los clientes. Nos encanta, pero si vuelvo, haré las comidas fuera del hotel.
