The hotel all in all is very good. Clean, polite staff and location is perfect. Parking will have to be in the public parking around the corner which is about £20 for a day. Online it said the hotel offers halal food but once we got there they said they aren't sure they do it. The staff also informed us that we wouldn't be able to eat at the restaurant that day because they were booked for a function, but we feel this should've been communicated beforehand by email etc. Other than this I think this hotel is the best in the area and is very classy and welcoming.

Esta es mi primera reserva de hotel con Trip y debo decir que al principio tenía mis dudas sobre si se procesaría. Por suerte, el hotel recibió la confirmación. Solo tuve que decirle mi apellido a la recepcionista y pudieron localizarme en su sistema. Nos ofrecieron galletas de cortesía, que estaban riquísimas. La cama de la habitación doble era más pequeña de lo esperado, pero aun así era suficiente para dos adultos. Las habitaciones no están muy insonorizadas, así que se oyen los coches de la calle si te toca la que da a la ciudad. Pero si no eres muy sensible al ruido, es tolerable. El gimnasio, abierto las 24 horas, estaba bastante bien equipado para su capacidad. Tenían toallas, toallitas desinfectantes y dispensador de agua. El desayuno del hotel también estuvo muy bien. El restaurante tenía una buena vista. En general, ¡la estancia fue una ganga! Volvería a usar Trip.com.

Fácil de encontrar. Control fácil y suave en proceso. Qué decoración. Ascensor a todos los pisos. Grandes habitaciones. El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad. Secador de pelo y hierro disponible. Excelente vista a la ciudad. El desayuno es Fab. Aquí tienes un buen personal. La única queja fue que el duche no era tan poderoso como nos gustaría y las tablas eran muy turbias para que podamos oír a la gente arriba a la noche y también cuando corren sus tapices. 15 libras por noche para estacionar nuestro vehículo. Comprobar rápida y eficazmente. El personal es muy conocido y útil.

Everything was amazing, we only have the following comment: we booked city view room, but we got upper ground floor room, with inner view, matted windows and windows could not be opened, and in the morning you could feel the breakfast smell. Overall the hotel is still amazing, clean, nice staff, good breakfast, amazing location and we would chose it again.

I love Charlton house, it was really quirky. The way it has been styled is really unusual. It makes you feel like you're in a bit of a fantasy world with the little corridors and quirky little nooks and crannies. For me it fit the bill, it did the job that I needed but I understand for those people that do not get it on an offer and pay a lot of money to stay there I understand how they might say that it's a bit dirty a bit tired a bit grubby and needs a bit of TLC. There seemed to be one very sweet man that was running around doing pretty much everything and the rest of the staff were hidden behind doors or just not there. I'm not sure. There were staff present in the spa and they were lovely and helpful and kind. My little room was gorgeous and cute and cozy, and clean enough although tatty in places. For me I really had a nice day and I would definitely come back. The breakfast was extremely basic but I didn't have extremely high expectations, and I'm not really a breakfast person, so again it may not make the tick box for others but it did the job for me. An amazing hotel. The staff responded to every additional question without any problems. The food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious, with a huge bathroom, shower, and bathtub. The hotel has a swimming pool and sauna available until 10 p.m. The reception was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend it to friends and will gladly return

The hotel is attractive and full of charm, with a pleasant aspect facing the church, however, the surrounding area of Bridgwater is rather run down.  Staff were very efficient and checked us in quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the restaurant as it was closed due to it being Father's Day. Our room was ok, and had a large bathroom with both shower and separate bath. There was plenty of hot water available, but aware that it was almost scalding when allowed to run without cold added. The bed was comfortable and the room well equipped with tea facilities, ironing board and iron and hair dryer. Due to the age of the building, there was a lot of noise from residents walking around in the rooms above ours, but it wasn't too obtrusive. Breakfast was very good with a choice of full English or continental and my gluten allergy was catered for.  If you  need to stay in Bridgwater, then I would recommend The Old Vicarage, but we would probably look in the villages further out of the town in future.

La habitación era muy agradable, muy limpia y bien equipada. La recepción es muy agradable y acogedora. El hotel dispone de aparcamiento, pero esta operación es realizada por NCP y cuesta sólo menos de 10 libras por un estancia de 24 horas. El pago se realiza a través de un APP, por lo que sugiero que lo instale en su teléfono antes de llegar. No hay opción de pagar por dinero o tarjeta en la máquina. El hotel es muy encantador, con habitaciones individuales decoradas y una amplia gama de características y muebles en las habitaciones públicas. Nos encontramos con mi hijo para cenar en un restaurante cercano para cenar, por lo que no podemos comentar la sala de cenas y nos optamos por el desayuno como habíamos organizado un almuerzo temprano. En Brazz nos disfrutamos de algunos cocktails, donde se apreciaba el servicio y la calidad de las bebidas.

The hotel is situated on a beautiful road with amazing buildings surrounding it. It is pretty much a stone’s throw away from where all of the shops, bars, and cafes are. The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling as they greet you. They act professionally and even give you ideas and suggestions for tours. The room we had wonderfully tall walls and high ceiling, however, the carpet for the floor hurt our feet to walk on, so I would suggest taking slippers (we did not take any unfortunately). All in all, it was a great place to stay with a delicious breakfast the morning after. Would definitely stay there again.

Competent hotel with comfortable bed and good shower. Nice bar, didn’t try the food. Not happy to pay £10 for parking, but not knowing the town gave us little choice. Location is generally not good because the town of Bridgewater is really pretty dire. Would not return for that reason.
