Homewood Hotel & Spa - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

This hotel is so lovely, we wanted some peace and relaxation and it couldn’t have been more perfect, the spa area is gorgeous really relaxing, the hotel room was gorgeous very spacious and the bed was very comfortable, it was my husbands birthday and there was some lovely truffles and card in room. The grounds are beautiful, only thing I would say was the breakfast was really expensive more than our evening meal £30 which is really expensive I think. But all in all lovely ☺️

Stayed in a Spa Suite, which was disappointing. Came with a Jacuzzi, Plunge & Sauna, which were all in a rear Courtyard. The rear Courtyard was covered in bird poo, so walking to either the Jacuzzi, Plunge or Sauna was like playing Twister! Outside seating cushions were either damp, mouldy or covered in bird poo! It’s clear that external housekeeping is lacking as are any form of spot checks by management. Cobwebs & leaves galore too! Some furniture needs renewing such as the Egg Seat in the rear Courtyard, which was very rusty & staining the patio. The actual Spa was very good as were the Spa Treatments. The atmosphere, food & vibe of the Hotel was excellent; frustratingly our mains were missed & we had to wait over an hour though! Overall, it didn’t meet our expectations, but so easily could’ve if managed a little differently i.e with attention to detail. Could be an absolute gem…

We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent.

Amazing experience , loved every second. The place is fantastic, the spa is perfect, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The food was great and the beer was cold. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Only thing I would add to the spa is an ice bath.

The room had a real wow factor, all was clean and well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Super Friendly staff, spa was amazing and the room was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, breakfast was also really good! Would recommended to anyone looking for a luxury break.
