I arrived at the rooms, but my internet wasn’t working, so I had to ask the lovely ppl in the cafe underneath to phone the owner. All went well after that. I would get the info needed to check in before arriving, incase your Wifi doesn’t work straight away. The room is in a block of flats, So central to everything, check out the market on Saturdays, you can see it through through your window. It was rather cold and stormy when I arrived and was really cold, I asked for a heater and it came straight away. The flat has coffee and tea facilities in the main kitchen/dining area. Good value and best location, near everything,can be a bit noisy at night as it’s over a busy bustation/square. Shops and train station all nearby and walkable. Highly recommend! Pictures are from views from window , as you see they were in middle of building up the square.

Location surrounding is crap. I went by navigator with a suitcase from central railway station about 15 min because the roads are not for suitcases, cracked pavement everywhere. It’s better to take a car or tram 1 for 2 stops from railway. It’s really apartment in a crap residential building. 3rd floor (like 4tth) without a lift with narrow stairs with no lighting in the evening. You don’t see where insert 3 keys in locks (3doors to enter). My room faced the noisy busy road. There 2 rooms inside, looks nice, no microwave, but clean. Area looks dangerous in the evening. Owner lady is nice and helpful. She tries to do her best!

Una de nuestras estancias más agradables durante nuestra viaje de 12 días alrededor de Sicilia. Después de aterrizar en el aeropuerto de Catania, nos dirigimos todo el camino a Dimora Cottanera, llegando después de oscuridad. Estaba aquí por tres noches y no estaba cansado. La piscina de la infinidad fue muy fría en noviembre, pero nos disfrutamos de la sauna y el baño de aire libre. The facilities were good and the hostel provided a fridge, stoves and cooking utensils. The room and the toilets were most of the time clean. Each was provided with one big locker. You can use the washing machine for 4 Euro and hang the clothes in the balcony. One major problem was sound insulation. The windows could not be completely closed and the room was facing a busy street. It was particularly busy during weekends as the cars and motorbikes might turn up music when they were driving late at night.

Casa Verdi se siente como un ambiente familiar. La casa de baño es muy baja, pero si alguien usa la tapa en la cocina o otro ducha al mismo tiempo, el agua se vuelve a un triciclo. El hotel dispone de una cocina y un servicio de transporte cercano al centro de la ciudad y al aeropuerto, que también se explica por el personal.

La señora en el escritorio fue muy agradable aunque se nos cobraron $24 Aud por noche extra por una tasa de limpieza que no se revelaba cuando reservamos. No teníamos idea por qué nos cobraron esta tasa al llegar. Aunque pagamos por el desayuno no estaba disponible porque el café que usaban se cerró para las vacaciones y no nos ofreció ninguna alternativa, así que se desperdició más dinero.

LOL Hostel is located close to the Siracuse train station. Just 2 minutes'walk! It is extremely convenient if you go there by train. There are lots if seating areas in the reception area. You can watch TV and surf Internet there. There is also a bar and an open kitchen with a fridge. There is also an outdoor seating area. The bedroom is clean and quiet. I had a good sleep there.

The location is perfect to visit everywhere in Taormina town. We stayed in the family suite with a good view. The room was clean and has the basic necessary item. If we add one small request, the mattress quality for the sofa bed (only for the third person) should be considered. The normal bed is comfortable, but the sofa bed gave me the backache.

The room was very clean and quiet, and the manager Rafael went out of his way to help, more than accomondating. I loved the view right on the balcony. The town Milo is a nice town, where the locals all gather at the Piazza at night, dancing, eating, chatting and kids were playing. If I were to visit Sicily again, I would stay at this hotel.
