La primera noche, la habitación estaba demasiado cerca de la calle, no había descanso, las dos noches después se reemplazaron por el problema de la habitación, el hotel local era relativamente poco, y había muchas personas de vacaciones en los fines de semana.

The location of The Lazy Duck Inn is perfect—just a few minutes' drive from the West Entrance of Yellowstone. West Yellowstone town itself has everything you need, and the McDonald's nearby is probably your most reliable bet for food. The room was renovated, really clean, and the mattress was super comfortable. It’s got a coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge, but the best part was definitely the huge smart TV where you can cast YouTube and Netflix straight from your phone. They also have grills and an ice machine in the common area. Even though it's a contactless vibe, you can see staff around every morning if you need to ask them for anything. A couple of downsides: the Wi-Fi can be pretty sluggish at times. Also, there are no exhaust fans in the kitchen or bathroom, so any cooking or bathroom smells tend to linger in the room for a while. Lastly, the room rate plus the cleaning fee is definitely on the pricier side, but honestly, that’s just a West Yellowstone thing. Just a heads-up for future guests: amenities might vary depending on the room number, so make sure to check carefully before booking. Also, the property has two floors, and if you get a room on the second floor, you'll need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Overall, if you want something close to the park that’s clean and has great amenities, this is a solid place to stay. Just keep the Wi-Fi and ventilation in mind.

Check-in was quick and smooth without any issues. The hotel condition was pretty much what I expected, so I didn’t have any major complaints. The location was honestly excellent. There were several restaurants within walking distance, and most importantly, it was located right in front of the national park entrance. I think this would be one of the best choices for people who want to enter the park early in the morning. The shower water pressure was also surprisingly strong, which I really liked. For this price, I think it was definitely a good choice overall.

The room was very clean and not a bad size. Definitely excellent for the price. I paid $234 total for two nights (Friday night and Saturday night) and even the motel 6 was almost $200 per night. My only complaint is small….there were only 2 tiny pillows on the bed, typical rooms have 4 pillows if they are that size. I called the front desk the second night to ask if I could get extra pillows and was told that they didn’t have any first, and then the man said they might have one. One pillow in a hotel with 500 rooms seemed crazy to me. So if someone gets one dirty or has a child with them or god knows what else they are just SOL for the stay??? On top of that, when the front desk person said he did have one, I had to go down to the front desk to get it instead of having it brought to the room. Not a big deal, but I have stated a lot of hotels, and I have never once requested something from the front desk and been told that I needed to come down and get it myself. I have also never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have extra pillows in the building.. other than that one small thing everything else was great though

En la ciudad de Xiangshi, muy cerca de la entrada occidental del parque, y la comida es muy conveniente. Cuando voy, encontré el estancamiento del gobierno de los Estados Unidos, no cobrar entradas, daré un mapa. El tiempo que falta es un poco tarde. Algunas carreteras del parque están cerradas por la nieve. Se recomienda ir antes de mediados de octubre, Especialmente para el granoscópio, la plataforma de observación de la granoscópica de navegación, el camino de paseo después del estacionamiento, puede ser guay, mejor para la tarde, demasiado grande para la mañana, no puedo verlo.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Everything was mostly great until…. I walked out to my car in the morning and it was completely covered in a filthy-looking thick white residue. Upon asking, another guest informed me that it was probably from the sprinkler system, which sprays water with some kind of calcium deposit. I was furious. I immediately went to the Circle K car wash and it took 2 $10.00 laser washes (one with spinning brushes) to get it off. I’m still not sure if it’s perfectly gone. I’ve been reading bad things online about the possible effects of calcium on car paint. Upon asking, I was informed by the receptionist that the hotel does not help with the cost of washing it off cars. Maybe this a common occurrence in Montana, but, where I’m from, if you make a mess on someone else’s car, you should be willing to help them clean it off (especially if they are a paying guest). Overall, this seems like a nice hotel but, honesty, this calcium junk being sprayed all over my car was compete BS!

There is a real customer service effort to improve this hotel. Shawn the manager allowed me to check in early as aBW platinum member. He let me drop my bags early in the morning and called me when the room was ready. He even had the bags placed in the room before I returned.  The breakfast was great for this type of hotel.  The clientele was respectful and polite. Oh. And Shawn even called after I checked out as I left behind an important item.  However, the pool/sauna area is not operational, and my room had a lingering pet odor and visible carpet stain. I am a dog owner and animal lover, but housekeepers really need to notify the manager as the room should not have been assigned. I personally think hotels need to charge 500 bucks for cleaning if dog hair or other 'remnant' is left behind. I won't stay at a certain LaWyndham brand that has a generous pet policy.  Their rooms all smell like Fifi and Buddy stayed there. I hope this property continues to improve.

The hotel has a beautiful mountain view if you are staying in the building off the main road. However; the hotel itself is the furthest hotel from the main part of the town so not possible to walk there to the most restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. It was convenient to stay on the top floor for the back building so I could take my luggage directly from the car without having to carry it up the stairs. There is a nice laundry room and coffee shop with a small limited breakfast. I would advise the hotel to use regular black out shades instead of blinds because the porch light is extremely bright as if it is daylight. Unless they dim the porch light or turn it off at a certain hour of the night. The air conditioning heating units are very loud so if the room next store is running it it is hard to sleep. Rooms has a strong smell advised to use air freshener or milder cleaning products.

El muffin para el desayuno es delicioso. No tenemos una cama supletoria, por lo que no sabemos cómo es la cama supletoria. Vivimos en el segundo piso. Una familia de seis personas es más conveniente para subir las escaleras. El estacionamiento es muy conveniente en la puerta.
