La ubicación del hotel es excelente, lo que lo hace increíblemente conveniente para explorar el lago Biwa y sus alrededores, sin tener que preocuparse en absoluto por el transporte. Si viajas en coche, es una opción aún mejor, ya que el aparcamiento y los desplazamientos son muy fáciles y sin estrés. Pero lo que realmente quiero destacar es la habitación: era muy espaciosa para los estándares locales, y la mayor sorpresa fue, sin duda, ¡la espectacular vista al lago! Al abrir la ventana, te encuentras con una panorámica del lago Biwa; tanto el amanecer como el atardecer eran tan impresionantes que te dejaban sin palabras. La habitación en sí también era muy limpia y cómoda, lo que garantizó una estancia realmente placentera y relajante. El servicio también fue impecable: el personal era muy amable y siempre atendía con paciencia y entusiasmo cualquier consulta sobre rutas turísticas o necesidad, lo que te hacía sentir realmente bienvenido y cuidado. Recomiendo encarecidamente dedicar un día a explorar los alrededores del lago Biwa. Pasear por la orilla, ir en bicicleta o disfrutar de actividades acuáticas es muy placentero, y los pequeños lugares de interés cercanos tienen su propio encanto. ¡Definitivamente vale la pena! En resumen, este hotel es inmejorable en cuanto a ubicación, ambiente y servicio. Si quieres disfrutar al máximo del lago Biwa y sus alrededores, ¡no te equivocarás eligiendo este lugar!

Very good experience at the Mercure Lake Biwa. A high-standard hotel with great views and quality services. Even though there were many group guests, everything was well organized. Thanks to my Accor card, I could enjoy some nice benefits, which was much appreciated. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They are also bike friendly !

As everyone has mentioned it’s a love hotel … great price for the size of the room and for all the amenities, stayed because it was close to the art museum, good experience love hotel in Japan

¡Fantástica noche de descanso con actividades pintorescas en un hotel grande y elegante! Vistas maravillosas al mar desde la habitación. Hicimos el crucero por el lago (ofrecido con la reserva de la habitación) y visitamos Enryakuji en la montaña fácilmente con un cupón de descuento del hotel. ¡Hermoso follaje otoñal! Buena relación calidad-precio con transporte gratuito y un servicio amable desde la estación de Otsu en general. No hay buenos restaurantes cerca, es mejor reservar con opciones para cenar o cenar en los restaurantes del hotel. No había aglomeraciones a principios de diciembre. Un buen descanso de la concurrida Kioto.

The huge Marriott is complete with great hospitality. The hotel has a cycling route and a sport centre 3 mins walk away with only ¥500 rental per house for normal bikes and gears which is great for the hotel guests and great location for young riders to start the riding. Journey here

El ambiente de la habitación era agradable, pero había mucho cabello que parecía pertenecer a mujeres en la habitación, así que no podía decir que fuera muy higiénico. Creo que hubiera sido más fácil utilizar los beneficios si se hubieran aclarado de antemano los términos y condiciones de los beneficios para miembros en cuanto a la diferencia entre uso gratuito y clientes con reserva.

Love the overall experience, sunrise view is a bonus, staff are super friendly. However, we booked through trip.com, the price shows online does not include the kid, even we selected the kid at the begining, so we had to pay additional at check out. This is agent's issue, not the resort.

Highly recommended hotel. Staff were very friendly and did their best to make us feel welcome. The room was spacious and the open air onsen was gorgeous. Meals were well presented and very filling. I would definitely return if given the opportunity.

The American atmosphere spread across the whole hotel with the help of design. It was quite classic. The room setting is a bit too liberal. The bathroom and toilet are in see-through form.The hotel, by the way, is conveniently located by the train station and the discounted parkings are right next to the hotel .

Brilliant little hotel, less than a minutes walk to the JR station which includes a very helpful tourist info centre and breakfast buffet included for every customer. Bathroom was modern new and shiny with a generous sized bath (for Japan) and the duvet felt especially nice. Decor is modern and mild but not by any means plain. Hotel also has a free mini Sento that is free to use with separate facilities for men and women which is also modern.
