It was a great stay at this ryokan! The hotel is able to arrange a car to fetch you from the JR station. You can call them using a dedicated phone at the station which is used to contact the different ryokans. The car arrived in 10mins or so. The ride to the ryokan was also less than 10mins. The hotel also fetched us to the station on the last day of our stay. The ryokan itself is homely and cozy. We were greeted by an english speaking staff who introduced us to the amenities of the ryokan. There was also a nice welcome tea and matcha chocolate. Our bags were brought to our room as well during this time. The room is spacious and cozy. The hotel prepared 2 welcome biscuits in the room which was a nice personal touch. The room has a nice living room and a great view of Lake Biwa. Recommend to catch the sunrise over the lake! There are 2 normal beds as well as futon beds (need to set up yourself). Both are comfortable. The hotel also prepared pretty yukata for both female and male guests which you can wear during the stay. There are 4 different designs for ladies, and one design for the guys. You can request for different size if the one in the room doesn’t fit you. There is also a full length mirror and a mini dressing area at the side of the living room. It was fun dressing up in the yukata! The toilet, basin, shower and hot tub areas are all separate. The toilet is a little small, but the basin and mirror area is very spacious. The shower area is quite small as well and the shower head is rather low so you need to hold the shower head if you wish to wash up while standing. There is a small stool given for you to sit down though. The hot tub area is semi-outdoor and you can see Lake Biwa. But it is quite small (only good for one person). It was too cold so we didn’t use the hot tub. Instead, we booked the private onsen for 50mins. The private onsen has a private toilet and dressing area which is equipped with hairdryer, body lotion etc. There is a water dispenser as well if you need to hydrate yourself. The onsen area has a washing area, and the hot tub area is spacious for 2 person. There are privacy screens around the onsen area but there is a small gap to let in cold air for ventilation. Wish there is a good view from the private onsen but it was still enjoyable! Dinner and breakfast was Kaiseki style, and the meals were one of the highlights for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the courses which are clean tasting yet wholesome, fresh and flavourful. It was such a sumptuous treat! The ryokan also has a souvenir shop if you wish to buy anything back. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed the stay here and we agreed this was one of the main highlights of our 12 days trip in Japan. Highly recommend!

Gosh, where do I even begin? This stay was frankly perfect. The view was amazing, the open-air private bath was amazing, the service was amazing, the food provided was amazing. There’s even a shuttle bus from the nearby station. I loved it. My friends loved it. The staff even ran across the whole lobby lounge from the check-in counter, and did a full dive into the souvenir store counter for us. Most memorable icecream buying experience.

The only default of this hotel is the room that is a bit small. But overall the rest is perfect. Nice view, very big onsen, free food and drinks everyday to take with a beautiful view on the lake and they also have free e-bikes that you can take to do nice trip beside the lake. The hotel is also very close to the train station, accessible by feet but they also have bus that pick you from there if you need. Definitely spend a very nice time there!

Biwako Ryokusuitei was an absolute treat. We had a bit of a wobble at Ogoto-Onsen station as I couldn't find a phone, but luckily we spotted the hotel shuttle. The driver was lovely and made us feel welcome right from the off. The reception staff were brilliant, really friendly and gave us a proper run-through of the place. Housekeeping was spot on too they were right on the ball and had our tatami mats all ready for us while we were away at dinner. The real stars, though, were the dining staff. They were incredibly professional and took the time to explain exactly what we were eating and how to enjoy each dish. Both breakfast and dinner were top-notch 😋I'm still thinking about that food now! A proper (home away from home) experience

Ok. En primer lugar, deja sus expectativas en casa esperando el servicio de nivel hotelero. Una vez que lo haya hecho, si quiere un lugar barato pero limpio para permanecer, esto es. Este es un senkan - una instalación para las organizaciones juveniles y de jóvenes para realizar estudios independientes y actividades recreativas, muchas de las cuales tienen instalaciones básicas de alojamiento, pero más altas que los albergues juveniles. El hotel está situado en todo el Japón. Tienen luces a las 11:00 y los huéspedes deben volver al mismo tiempo. El hotel dispone de un café muy moderno que sirve desayunos baratos (ver fotos) pero el café se cierra a las 6:00. Existe una tienda de conveniencia a 10 minutos a pie, por lo que le sugiero comprar snacks y bebidas en ruta de la estación JR Ishiyama. Para cenar, hay un restaurante familiar - buen valor y comida buena - a unos 6 minutos a pie. El sinkan está situado en una pequeña isla a través de un puente histórico. La vista del río que fluye hacia el lago principal de Biwa es relajada, mucha vida de aves silvestres y muchos riegos (el sinkan también es una instalación de deportes acuáticos), y la vista de la subida y el atardecer son hermosas. El hotel está muy bien situado, y me costará ¥5500 por una noche y me quedaré allí si tengo la oportunidad.

Very great time here, i give it the maximum rate! The people are awesome or particularly kind, the worry about everything for you, shuttle bus to station or from station to hotel, all amenities. The food was absolutely delicious, even tho sometimes it wasn’t at our taste you can see that the products are fresh, carefully selected and very tasty. It had a playing 8ball pool, and a ping-pong table! Very near Biwa Lake. Outstanding view from 11th Floor onsen. I recommend and wish to come back on our next trip to japan.

Pero lo que realmente quiero destacar es la habitación: era muy espaciosa para los estándares locales, y la mayor sorpresa fue, sin duda, ¡la espectacular vista al lago! Al abrir la ventana, te encuentras con una panorámica del lago Biwa; tanto el amanecer como el atardecer eran tan impresionantes que te dejaban sin palabras. La habitación en sí también era muy limpia y cómoda, lo que garantizó una estancia realmente placentera y relajante. El servicio también fue impecable: el personal era muy amable y siempre atendía con paciencia y entusiasmo cualquier consulta sobre rutas turísticas o necesidad, lo que te hacía sentir realmente bienvenido y cuidado. Recomiendo encarecidamente dedicar un día a explorar los alrededores del lago Biwa. Pasear por la orilla, ir en bicicleta o disfrutar de actividades acuáticas es muy placentero, y los pequeños lugares de interés cercanos tienen su propio encanto. ¡Definitivamente vale la pena! En resumen, este hotel es inmejorable en cuanto a ubicación, ambiente y servicio. Si quieres disfrutar al máximo del lago Biwa y sus alrededores, ¡no te equivocarás eligiendo este lugar!

Tras una ciudad con una gran cantidad de Kioto, me encanta el ambiente tranquilo y tranquilo de este hermoso hotel-ryokan y encantador castillo. Es sólo un 7-8min a pie de la estación de tren Hikone, pero hay un transbordador de hotel que sale a las 9, 10 y 11 si necesitas una caída. El hotel ofrece una terraza externa con vistas al castillo, un spa en el lugar con masaje, un salón de biblioteca con bebidas gratuitas hasta las 10:00, un ángulo de reflexión de pies y un cepillo compacto con baño de seda (todo con vistas al castillo) y calientes a pie. La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable, pero la habitación era muy agradable. El desayuno buffet fue también uno de los mejores que he visto en mis viajes a Japón. La carretera principal del castillo es cerca de 5-10 min, pero pasará por una famosa fábrica japonesa, Taneya y Club Harie. Sus recuerdos son uno que incluso el japonés querría. Me gustaría volver aquí un día con mi compañero. Gracias por la estancia maravillosa.

La experiencia general fue regular… No esperaba un hotel tan grande. ¡Marriott Group tiene estas deficiencias! Hablemos de las mejoras sugeridas para las instalaciones del hotel: 1) Aparcamiento: no hay rampas ni aceras accesibles para los clientes que sacan su equipaje pesado del aparcamiento. Lo único que pudimos hacer fue subirlo por las escaleras hasta el vestíbulo del hotel desde el aparcamiento. 2) Zona de descanso en la entrada del hotel: llovía a cántaros cuando hice el check out hoy. Planeaba ir en coche hasta la entrada para que mi familia pudiera subir y yo pudiera cargar todo mi equipaje en el maletero, bajo la marquesina de la entrada. Por suerte, la marquesina es demasiado corta y no tiene ese diseño, así que al final todos subieron al coche y estaban todos mojados. Tuve que subir el equipaje al coche bajo la lluvia… 3) Onsen (baño público): nada que decir sobre este baño público antiguo, obsoleto, pequeño y sin mantenimiento. 4) Personal: Diría que, con el nombre de Marriott, este hotel tiene muy poco personal… Otros: Nada que decir, la verdad.
