This hotel has seen better days in its multi-decade existence. It has gone through some renovations and name changes, but still seems to be in transition as we walked through the third floor paint fumes (half of the floor was being painted while still having guests on the floor) to our room at the end of an extremely long corridor. It seems understaffed and whatever staff they do have are wearing multiple hats and running around or in training. We encountered a spectrum of personalities from sweet to terse to neutral in their customer service/reception area. Their booking system is also a bit unclear. I got emails for ”pre check-in” and ”set checkout” which seemed fine, but I had selected a cocktail pack at the pre check-in and input my credit card information but was not charged for it. If my CC isn't going to be charged at that point, why should I have to enter my CC information at all? It should be noted that these are ”requests” the front desk can choose to fulfill for the guest or not. They still asked for a CC to be put on file for incidentals too, during in-person check-in, so online ”pre check-in” just seems pointless. We had booked our multi night stay on the Trip app and it did have us prepay but also said there would be a $89 charge at the hotel for four nights. We later learned it was a ~22 bucks ”resort fee” for our stay per night. I guess the resort fee includes the amenities of free water and free shuttle service? Breakfast wasn't included for our booking. The person checking us in even charged a $$$$ deposit amount larger than the cost of our 4 nights there, so I hope they are more careful on other security deposit charges, in the future. On another note, the 24/7 airport shuttle was great and the downtown shuttle service was excellent. Their free shuttle service is definitely a highlight. Kind drivers also -- lovely service from all the drivers we met and always helped us with our bags and directions. Big appreciation for the shuttle vans and drivers! Free water (2 bottles per guest per day) included at the front desk, which you have to make sure to grab yourself, as there was no ”deliver to room” option during our stay. The outdated facilities are somewhat maintained, as we had slow drainage in our shower tub and slow drainage in our toilet that nearly led to a clog. Luckily, the maintenance team was able to remedy that after our first night. We stayed 4 nights in total, but that first night was rough. Going forward, I would recommend this place for someone seeking adventure in a property that is next to a beautiful lake with cool seaplanes and a nice lobby full of taxidermy and doesn't mind the potentially tumultuous reception or dated bathroom.

I was pretty disgusted to see the N word written in dust on the window in our suite. The food was overpriced and was definitely nothing special. Didn't matter after dinner though; there's no microwave to reheat left overs, and with how cold our room was, our food got cold and hard pretty fast. The wallpaper is coming off the wall, the hooks are coming out of the wall, we had the heat on friday-sunday but could never get it up past 68 degrees despite it being on for days. The water got shut off while we were there, parking was crowded/limited. We booked a room for 5, only to be put in a room with only 2 beds and told they couldn't provide us with a cot because of fire hazards; after complaining that I'm not putting my child on the very used/old carpet, they upgraded our room to include a couch for my 3rd child. The pool required a reservation but they didn't check reservations and the pool was over crowded. I was REALLY uncomfortable with how secluded I was from everyone when going to the locker room... it felt like the perfect spot for someone to catch a woman or child off guard. Everything is very old or outdated or broken in one way or another, and everything was VERY overpriced. If they want to claim they're a resort and charge resort prices, they need to start looking like a resort. Next time we need a weekend getaway, we'll be going to Denali instead!

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena. El hotel está en el lado opuesto del puerto de la compañía de cruceros que se excursionan seis horas y ocho horas al día. Hay restaurantes y tiendas de regalos alrededor. 5-9 El punto de partida del autobús gratuito circula en la ciudad también en el otro lado de la calle del hotel. El hotel tiene microondas en cada piso. El alabamiento especial es que el hotel le da un alojamiento especial a 12 puntos de antelación (los huéspedes que llegan en el autobús en su mayoría son 9-12 puntos). La relación precio-efecto del hotel es la más valiosa.

The view from my room faces the ocean but the location at the end of Homer Spit isn’t exactly the best place to be because it takes 15mins walk to get to the centre where eateries, shops and ferries are located especially if you’re like me having to carry camera equipment. Taxi services tend to be slow at peak hours. Housekeeping is not efficient and needs to be reminded despite hanging the card out. Cups are not washed and bed is not made unless the card in the room(no card was placed in my room)is completed which was the excuse they gave. This happened for 5x out of my 9 nights where the other 4, I opted for no disturbance . Breakfast is buffet style but limited selection. My stay was over 9 nights. I have to return for another 3 nights on organised tour group. I informed receptionist upon checkout to put me in the same room. The answer is NO. The level of service at front desk and housekeeping needs improvement except for a special lady, Lena who is exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all, there is no value for money.

La ubicación es buena, muy cerca del Parque Nacional y del centro de visitas. El hotel cuenta con un restaurante y cafetería y un autobús de transbordador. El hotel es muy viejo, necesita una actualización completa. El ventilador es muy viejo y ruidoso. La puerta trasera no tiene cerradura, en lugar de usar una adhesiva de madera. Los limpiadores y el escritorio delantero no están entrenados, nos han dado una instrucción equivocada a nuestra visita y acabamos de perderla. Cuando pedimos un servicio de habitaciones a un limpiador, dos gerentes entraron y preguntaron por qué necesitamos un servicio de habitaciones (sólo necesitamos unas toallas nuevas y se quita el cajón). Nos paga 44 dólares por una tarifa de transferencia de equipaje cuando se nos devuelve (no se nos dijo cuando se nos devuelve).El precio es mucho más alto que en otros hoteles en esta zona.

Booked and paid in full online. They have our credit card on file. Didn’t expect they want to charge extra money for room deposit. No problem we can handle the additional payment except Their machine didn’t work scanning my Apple Pay. The older lady was rude and told us we couldn’t stay. That was not our fault. It really hurts! they should fix their machine problem first rather than blaming customer. Finally the younger staff on training figured out how to charge my Apple Card by keying in the numbers. Overall check in was not as friendly and professional as it should be. Breakfast was okay, oatmeal was not done correctly super dry, a simple fix is adding a bit water , yet no one cared. Eggs are not real , artificial eggs. Just a bit disappointed. Rooms are warm and bathrooms is clean.

La posición geográfica es superior, cerca de la estación de tren, justo en el centro de la ciudad, fácil de llegar allí. El desayuno estuvo bueno. La desventaja es que no es demasiado viejo, el inodoro está bloqueado, pero afortunadamente, la habitación es ruidosa, no la más silenciosa. La relación precio / rendimiento no es alta, lo que va en detrimento de la firma de Hilton.

Strategic location hotel, near airport with airport shuttle, and affordable price. Some restaurant nearby. The staffs are friendly and helpful, breakfast complimentary. Room spacious, clean and nice.

El hotel está muy cerca del aeropuerto y conduce 10 minutos. La noche es relativamente tranquila, vivimos cinco días y no nos sentimos molestados. Hay un gran restaurante surcoreano y japonés cerca del hotel, muy delicioso, y el precio de la comida en el restaurante es bueno. Las habitaciones del hotel no son grandes pero lo suficientemente grandes para vivir, las instalaciones son antiguas y el baño no tiene escape. La calidad del desayuno es buena, pero la variedad de monotones, la comida es la misma al día. Incluso comer cinco días es muy dulce. Hay grupos de viajes coreanos que se quedan todos los días. El precio del hotel es mejor en general. Si hay una mejor opción, no viviré aquí la próxima vez.
