The hotel was in a great location, close to Main St., Saratoga Springs. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. It was very nice to wake up in the morning and open the curtain and see horses practicing on the track.

Pasé una noche antes de mi vuelo y el personal de recepción fue muy amable. Mi habitación parecía más grande, pero estaba dividida por una puerta blanca para hacer más espacio. Escucho perfectamente a los vecinos de al lado y la puerta divisoria se puede abrir. El agua de la ducha salía con dificultad y no sabía cómo usarla, pero en recepción me dijeron que tenía que abrir tanto el grifo como el de la ducha para que saliera agua caliente. En general, era una habitación agradable, con vistas al aeropuerto.

This stay was not what I would call good... It was in fact a poor experience. By this I mean. I arrived at 3.50pm to get checked into a room that I was informed would be ready for check in at 3pm... The room was not ready, and i was told they would try to have it ready in 20-25 mins. I explained that that was not acceptable. I was told I could wait in the lobby area...I again explained that that was not acceptable. Another employee jumped in to say, I could sit in the lobby. Now I am irritated. I explained in more detail that I could not very well change in the lobby, being that I had to change and get to a wedding in Yonkers for 5.30...He then started to challenge me. Started telling me how he didn't like the tone of my voice. I then dismissed him and suggested he move away and let me deal with the situation with the desk clerk...who by the way was VERY, VERY, helpful, and whom I had no issues with, because she was doing everything she could to accommodate. The real problem was with the cleaning crew and their supervisor , who kept telling her the wrong things. I even offered for them to allow me to change, and then they could have the room to complete getting it ready. They told her to tell me that it wasn't protocol for me to do that. To which I responded that it wasn't protocol to not have the room ready. At this time the desk associate, Aaliyah, who as I said was very helpful, and who I had NO ISSUES with, and she knew that, suggested that I would be reimbursed 50% for all the stress that I encountered, and gave me the room key to allow me and my wife to change and be on our way. This is where I say common sense made more sense than ”protocol”. So my review will be....Great job handling a difficult situation by the desk associate, Aaliyah... Poor job by the room ready crew. And a terrible job by the associate who decided to challenge me in what was a difficult situation, instead of finding a way to help. 5 STARS for Aaliyah 1 STAR for Cleaning Crew (-0) for associate.

Volver a la isla de Long Long es muy feliz, el entorno de Long Island es cómodo y agradable. El entorno del hotel es tranquilo, limpio y cómodo, y el estacionamiento es gratuito. El servicio de recepción también es bueno. La cama es un poco blanda, pero la cama en Estados Unidos no es demasiado dura. El aire acondicionado interior no es muy bueno, un poco frío. Deficiencias: las luces de baño están conectadas con el turbopropulsor, abiertos y ruidosos. Conducimos, la entrada del hotel es fácil de perder, y después de ir a un edificio desconocido al lado, volver al hotel.

El hotel tiene una ubicación inmejorable. Hay un popular restaurante italiano, una heladería y un Starbucks en la planta baja. Al otro lado de la calle se encuentra el gran Lincoln Center. Hay bancos, cafeterías y Target a pocos minutos a pie. También está muy cerca de Columbus Circle y puedes tomar el metro para llegar a varias atracciones. Es que aparte del vestíbulo que parece un hotel de alta gama, los pasillos están decorados con un estilo extraño, las habitaciones son pequeñas y las instalaciones son tan simples que uno se siente como en casa. Los detalles incluyen: el baño es tan pequeño que sólo una persona puede estar de pie; no hay vasos en la habitación, y ya sea para beber agua o cepillarse los dientes, se utilizan vasos de papel desechables. Afortunadamente la mayor parte del tiempo estuve caminando por la ciudad y sólo volví al hotel para dormir. De todos modos, no elegiré este la próxima vez.

La recepción del hotel afirmó que estaban limpiando la habitación y que necesitaba esperar un rato para registrarme. Se comunicarían conmigo una vez completada la limpieza. Pero al final, no hubo contacto después de una hora. Fui a la recepción para preguntar y me dijeron que lo habían limpiado no lejos de la cascada y que se podía caminar desde la puerta trasera. una estancia corta. Aunque la habitación puede ver la cascada, es básicamente invisible. No es necesario reservar un tipo de habitación cara.

Great location, good restaurant, and comfortable beds.  The location inside Saratoga Springs Park is very nice.  The hotel is older and it definitely shows.  We booked a Deluxe King which was large and had a walk in closet.  The bathroom was small though and the room was not very well cleaned.

Lo único que hace que pudiera volver a ese sitio es la ubicación del mismo, así como el precio, que sin ser barato es una muy buena opción dado los precios del resto de sitios en la zona. La habitación la hacen cada 3 o 4 días. En recepción pasan de ti en ocasiones, o te dicen que ya irán pero nunca van a tu habitación a hacer lo que les pediste. Los baños son comunitarios pero siempre encuentras alguno libre. La limpieza es la justa. La habitación es pequeña pero para ir solo no hace falta más. Es vieja aunque no está sucia. Las vistas desde ella, en mi caso, eran muy buenas. Es una buena opción si no te puedes permitir algo mejor y que esté en el centro.

Visited the hotel for our family reunion. Have visited in the past. Starting with the good. Cindy was the best. We were going to arrive a day early. Cindy was very helpful and ensured the we could adjust our reservation and arrive a day early and keep the same room. Very happy with Cindy and her ability to assist. The breakfasts were good, clean and well stocked. Now for the not so good. We were told room service would take place after 3 days. After our 4th evening we asked room services when our room would be done. They informed us we were on the list for the following day. We were given two towels. Next day, no room service. We again asked room service staff when our room would be serviced. They said they do the rooms once a week. Maybe a lack of communication. We did get fresh towels later in the day. The area in front of the hotel had tables and chairs to relax and meet. The bases of the tables contained cement. The cement was breaking up and bits of cement and dust was everywhere. It was never swept away the entire time we were there. My family had finished breakfast and we wanted to chat with the manager about some of the issues we were experiencing in the hotel. When we asked the receptionist we were told we could chat with him “if he had time”. We waited for more than 30 minutes in the dining area and he never came to us. We had used the same hotel in the past for family reunions but the place seems to have been going downhill.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was under renovation so ice machines weren't working, halls were dirty, and rooms needed these upgrades. My room itself was decently cleaned but the bathroom was not. The corners had accumulated dirt\dust\tp and the bathtub had a ring around it. Shower water pressure was great and had Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available. It is also one of the few hotels I've stayed at that actually included bars of soap if that is your preference like me. The breakfast had a decent variety to choose from, especially if you just wanted something quick. I chose to head into Albany and get some real food and coffee. All of what I said above is fixable with this ongoing renovation and that should be taken into account when reading my review. What probably won't be fixed is the lack of any sort of soundproofing in the rooms. I could hear every door close on my floor and people talking in the hall sounded like they were in my room!! Strongly suggest you get a room away from the elevators if possible. Unfortunately I did not have the time to check out the Pool or Hot Tub but did see some kids having a good time in there. Location is 15 minutes away of just about everything you want to see in Albany and I was all over the place that weekend. Take an edible or Ambien to sleep through late night partiers or early risers and you will be all set!!
