I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Raia Hotel Alor Setar. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night’s rest after a long drive. The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming. The hotel’s location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and food options. Overall, a good value stay and I wouldn’t mind returning in the future.

La habitación era muy buena, y la habitación era muy buena. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es muy agradable. No obstante, hay algunas áreas para mejorar. El aire acondicionado se dirigió directamente a la cama, lo que lo hizo bastante frío durante la noche. No se proporcionaron instalaciones básicas como un tobillo, por lo que es mejor traer su propio. Además, la presión del agua en el duche fue un poco lenta. A pesar de estas cuestiones menores, todavía teníamos una estancia agradable y consideraríamos volver.

Its a good stay but i do notice some small roaches roaming...its good if the hotel can do pest control. Other than this its very good budget stay if you just crashing for the night..head back to KL the next day.

I had a pleasant stay at Purest Hotel overall. The location is very convenient, making it easy to access nearby amenities and get around the area. I also appreciate the team’s prompt response whenever I made a request — the service was efficient and attentive. That said, one area for improvement would be the pigeon situation at the car park, which could be better managed to enhance cleanliness and overall guest experience. With some attention to this, the stay experience would be even better.

The hotel is good for its RM220 price tag. The breakfast is not very good but acceptable. There are many food stalls nearby and it is close to Lotus’s. This hotel is more suitable for a transit stay and is not recommended for a vacation. A RM100 deposit is required upon check-in.

Áreas comunes excelentes, pero las habitaciones y los detalles necesitan mejora. El hotel destaca por sus zonas comunes, que están muy bien cuidadas. El comedores, la zona de recreativos, y especialmente las dos piscinas (incluyendo la infinita) son excelentes. Incluso el desayuno que pagamos el último día nos pareció bueno. Sin embargo, notamos una gran diferencia entre estas áreas y las habitaciones, que carecen de atención a los detalles. A mi parecer, son precisamente estos pequeños detalles los que marcan la diferencia. Algunos puntos a mejorar: * En las habitaciones: No había toallas para las manos y el soporte de la alcachofa de la ducha estaba roto, sin meterme a destacar manchas en las paredes y elementos deteriorados. * En la piscina infinita: Las pocas tumbonas con cojines estaban muy sucias y solo había tres sombrillas disponibles. Es posible que esta falta de atención a los detalles sea algo común en los hoteles de la zona, pero son cosas que, en mi opinión, podrían solucionarse fácilmente para mejorar la experiencia de los huéspedes.

I spent 4 days and 3 nights at Royale Signature Hotel, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most pleasantly surprising stays in Alor Setar! From check-in to check-out, everything felt smooth and welcoming — the staff genuinely made me feel like a guest, not just a booking number. The room was spacious, bright, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials: comfy bed, soft pillows, mini-fridge, and a spot-perfect workspace. The sleep quality was impressive… though, full disclosure, the soundproofing could use an upgrade — I could occasionally hear faint hallway sounds. Nothing deal-breaking, but something to note if you’re a deep sleeper. Location-wise, it’s a winner. Walking distance to Aman Central, local cafés, and Alor Setar Tower made exploring effortless. High floors also offer a lovely city view — perfect for morning coffee or sunset photos. Little touches made my stay memorable: complimentary Wi-Fi that never faltered, modern toiletries, and those small staff gestures that made a difference — smiles, helpful directions, and quick responses whenever I needed something. Overall, Royale Signature Hotel is a great value for a 4-star stay in the heart of the city. Comfortable, convenient, and welcoming — I left feeling rested, happy, and already planning my next visit. If you’re coming to Alor Setar, this hotel will not disappoint. 💡 Tip: Request a higher floor for the best city views and bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper — minor things, but your stay will be perfect!

Отель расположен в тихом месте среди природы - много зелени, пруды, бабочки, ящерицы по вечерам квакают лягушки и периодически появляются обезьяны, белки. Через дорогу в 5 минутах пляж Тенг его южная часть где есть скалы можно уйти туда загорать или плавать вдоль скал, наслаждаясь подводным миром. До места с магазинчиками минут 15 -20 пешком это если прям идти до ТЦ Ченанг. Возле отеля есть магазинчик, пару кафешек. У каждого домика отдельный вход в комнату с мини верандой на который есть или два лежака и столик или лежак, стул и столик. В комнате чисто есть два полотенца и для ног, гель для душа. Интернет работает стабильно. Кто чувствителен к укусам комаров возьмите реппеленты. Особенности что нужно учитывать при бронирование (это все есть в описании) -нет горячей воды - нет кондиционеров -нет холодильника, фена (можно взять в аренду) -нет телевизора. Есть кулер с холодной и горячей водой, жва чайника и кружки на ресепшн доступно всегда. Заселение без проблем (если приезжаете после 18 свяжитесь заранее с ресепшн, чтобы предупредить их.) Это место полностью погружает тебя в островную жизнь. Полный релакс и соединенение с природой. Мне все понравилось.

Nice hotel near Pekan Rabu. Has breakfast buffet, but quite basic. There is a big and comfortable lobby, with welcoming coffee and some biscuits. There’s also a Alor Setar foodcourt right behind the hotel for more breakfast options, if you didnt opt for the hotel breaskfast. Room is dated, of average size with no balcony, twin room is bigger than double room. We didnt have a proper wardrobe in our room, only an open space next to the TV, to hang our clothes. The bed is ok, not too soft, pillows are quite comfortable; while the towels are not very thick/plush. A good choice if you wish to walk around to explore Alor Setar town. We walked all the way to the Masjid/Dataran Alor Setar in the morning when it wasnt too hot. Bathroom is quite dated, there was an issue with the drainage when we were there.

All just nice and view pool is awesome, only door bell sometimes keep ringing but nobody press, another room press door bell, room also ringing.....pliss fix it that all, overall good 👍
