I really enjoyed my one-night stay at Hayat Al Madinah Hotel. After travelling and spending time in Madinah, it was nice to come back to a clean and comfortable room where we could properly rest. The twin beds were comfortable, and the room had everything we needed for a short stay. I especially appreciated the convenient location, as it made it easy for us to visit Masjid an-Nabawi. The hotel was also quiet and comfortable enough for a good night's rest. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Overall, I felt comfortable and well taken care of during our stay. It was a short stay, but a pleasant one. I would happily stay here again when I return to Madinah, إن شاء الله.

Disappointing checkout experience and noticeable difference in treatment I want to mention a particularly disappointing experience during checkout. The staff member was a young, slim man, approximately 5 ft 9 in, wearing a white thobe and red-and-white shemagh. This happened at approximately 7:00–7:30 pm. I was the only person waiting in the queue at reception. He was clearly aware I was waiting, but did not acknowledge me, make eye contact, or indicate that he would assist me next. Immediately before this, I had watched him speaking to a couple in front of me, and he was warm, friendly and conversational with them, speaking to them in Arabic. After they left, he went behind the desk but still did not acknowledge me. After waiting, I had to approach him myself and ask if I could come over. I handed him my key card and then had to ask, “Is there anything else?” He simply replied “Khalas” (“finished/that’s all”) in a very abrupt manner. There was no further conversation, courtesy or farewell. As a non-Arab visitor, I feel it is important to mention that this experience was particularly noticeable because, throughout my Umrah trip in Saudi Arabia, not only at this hotel, I observed several occasions where I felt there was a difference in the warmth, friendliness and level of service shown to me compared with some Arab guests around me. I cannot know the reasons behind individual people’s behaviour. I would also like to be fair and say that my check-in experience at this hotel was excellent. The staff who welcomed me were warm, friendly and attentive. This is why the checkout experience was particularly disappointing. All guests and pilgrims, regardless of nationality or background, should receive the same basic level of acknowledgement, courtesy and respect. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously.

Originalmente quería dar una mala crítica. En primer lugar, después de gastar tanto dinero, la tarjeta de acceso no pudo abrir la puerta el día del check-in. Después de entrar a la casa por la puerta trasera, el aire acondicionado de la casa. Estaba roto. Estuve en una casa sin aire acondicionado. No me malinterpretes, no me ascendieron de categoría, seguía siendo una casa del mismo tamaño y esta vez ni siquiera tenía una tarjeta de habitación, solo usé una llave. Pero me gustaría agradecer sinceramente al Sr. Salah Albluwi y su equipo y al Sr. Saad por su ayuda. Mi auto se pinchó el segundo día y me ayudaron a repararlo bajo el sol abrasador. ¡No por su ayuda, definitivamente le daré al hotel una crítica negativa de un punto! Una cosa que decir, ¡el ambiente es muy bueno! ¡Pero estas dos cosas, la llave y el aire acondicionado, realmente me decepcionaron! ¡Lo que originalmente era un viaje perfecto se convirtió en un viaje normal y corriente!

My recent stay at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was truly remarkable, and it is a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the holy city. From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded expectations in every possible way. One of the hotel’s greatest advantages is its excellent location, just a short and convenient walk from the blessed Masjid Al Nabawi. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to attend prayers, especially Fajr and late-night prayers, without the stress of transportation or long walking distances. The staff at Makarem Burj Al Madinah deserve special recognition. Every team member I encountered was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk staff handled check-in smoothly and professionally, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Equally impressive was the cleaning team, who maintained the rooms and public areas to an exceptionally high standard. Their attention to detail was evident daily, and their polite and friendly manner made the stay even more comfortable. As the hotel is only around six months old, everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms, corridors, and common areas are spotless, well maintained, and beautifully finished. There is a noticeable sense of cleanliness throughout the property, complemented by a pleasant and refreshing fragrance that greets you as soon as you enter. This consistent cleanliness and inviting atmosphere contribute greatly to a sense of peace and relaxation after long hours spent at the Haram. Another excellent feature of the hotel is the 24-hour gym, which is thoughtfully segregated for men and women. This allows guests to exercise comfortably and privately at any time of day or night. The gym is modern, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to maintain a fitness routine even while traveling. Having round-the-clock access is especially convenient for guests with busy schedules centered around prayer times. Breakfast at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was another highlight of the stay. The breakfast spread is generous, varied, and well organized, offering a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes. From fresh and hot options to lighter choices, everything was prepared to a high standard. The dining area is clean and pleasant, and the breakfast staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to the day. Overall, Makarem Burj Al Madinah delivers an outstanding hospitality experience. Its close proximity to Masjid Al Nabawi, combined with its new and pristine condition, friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, well-designed gym facilities, and high-quality breakfast, make it an ideal choice for visitors to Madinah. I would gladly stay here again so long as prices remain reasonable God willing and confidently recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and quality during their visit to this sacred city.

El hotel cuenta con una ubicación excelente y un aparcamiento gratuito, lo que me ha hecho muy fácil llegar. También me gustaría felicitar al personal por su atención y servicio. Cuando se plantearon cuestiones, respondieron rápidamente y hicieron todo lo posible para abordarlas. La casa de la habitación se ha visto recién renovada, la matriz ya no era muy cómoda, algunos de los dispositivos de iluminación no funcionaban, y la señal de televisión por cable no era coherente. También se podría mejorar el drenaje de la bañera, ya que el agua tiende a permanecer en el suelo después de su uso. El hotel ofrece un buen valor en términos de ubicación y servicio, pero la actualización de las habitaciones y instalaciones mejoraría considerablemente la experiencia de los huéspedes.

An exceptional stay at Pullman Zamzam Madinah! The hotel’s prime location just steps away from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi makes it the ideal choice for anyone visiting Madinah. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and designed for complete comfort, ensuring a peaceful environment after prayers. While the entire staff provided wonderful hospitality, I want to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Mr. Moataz. His professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond made our stay truly seamless and stress-free. Outstanding service from start to finish—we look forward to returning!

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

The Pros: Unmatched Location & Heartwarming Service Dream Location for Female Pilgrims: The absolute biggest selling point. It is less than a 3 to 4-minute walk to the women’s prayer area, with Gates 329 and 330 being the absolute closest. Convenient Amenities Nearby: The Nusuk Center is right next door, and there is a children’s nursery within a 10-minute walk, making it incredibly convenient for families. Outstanding Housekeeping & Concierge: The service from the ground staff is exceptional. The Bangladeshi staff members are incredibly kind, sweet, and genuinely wonderful people who elevate the stay. Great Breakfast Experience: The breakfast team does a fantastic job. The live omelet station and the pancake/waffle station are definitive highlights. Abundant Dining Options: You are completely spoiled for choice. The hotel is literally opposite Hardee's, KFC, and Karak Express. Al Tazaj is nearby, alongside great cafes like Brew 92 for high-quality coffee. The Cons: Dated Infrastructure & Front Desk Friction Aging & Faulty Bathrooms: While the hotel looks grand from the outside, the interior infrastructure is noticeably old. Even after changing rooms twice, the bathrooms had major design and maintenance issues: Severe water leakage across the entire floor every time you shower (whether in a bathtub or regular shower setup), resulting in a constantly wet room. Cramped layout where the commode is practically at the brink of the bathroom door, leaving almost no space. Visible mold in the toilets. Unhelpful Reception Staff: The front desk team lacks friendliness and clear communication. Late Check-Out Hassles: Despite booking a guaranteed 6:00 PM late check-out via Trip.com, the hotel refused to fully honor it. It required tedious coordination with 3-4 different staff members just to get a slight extension past the standard 12:00 PM slot. Final Thoughts While Millennium hotels are generally convenient for airport access, the internal wear-and-tear here is tough to ignore. It remains a solid option solely for its proximity to the Holy Mosque, but at this premium price point, you can likely find newer, better-maintained properties in Madinah.

I recently stayed at Madinah Hilton as a solo traveler, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel’s location is exceptional—just a short walk from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, making it very convenient for prayers at any time. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were courteous, professional, and always willing to help, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a good variety of delicious options, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. I felt safe and comfortable staying alone, and the excellent service made my visit even more memorable. I would definitely choose Madinah Hilton again on my next visit to Madinah and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay close to the Prophet’s Mosque. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
