UUsuario invitadoFantastic location with stunning river views and a really nice hotel to stay in. The staff are very attentive and the facilities extremely comprehensive. The breakfast is a real must for anyone who wants the genuine full English experience and is cooked to order.

UUsuario invitadoCost wise it was reasonable, and the location is bang in the middle of Plymouth shopping area. Parking is right under the hotel, and check in was quick. Room was very tidy and spacious, and cool enough but no air conditioning., just fan. Staff were all lovely, bar staff, reception and service staff, notably Christopher at breakfast who went out of his way to entertain my little girl. Food wise was OK, but 2 complaints. The breakfast orange juice is not fresh, or it's watered down, not nice. And for evening meal I ordered fish and chips, and it was a SLIVER of fish in batter....which for the cost was ridiculous. The staff were very understanding, but the kitchen should definitely seen a new supplier. Overall, it was a lovely stay and would definitely go back...my gripes are purely for management if they wish to address them for future guests. Recommend.

We booked two hotel rooms, one room had a broken bed and no toilet roll, the other had a slightly off balanced bed and the toilet bin hadn’t been cleaned as there was someone’s sanitary pads in there from the last stay, this was a very last minute booking so we appreciate the accommodation but we’re expecting a little bit more cleanliness in our rooms, we also went down to say about the beds and were told they would be fixed that night and no one come to fix it, we only stayed 2 nights so dealt with it but weren’t very pleased about the situation

UUsuario invitadoOur driver stays in hotels all over the UK while transporting vehicles for our business, and he says this is by far one of the best places he stays. The hotel is consistently very clean, the service from the staff is excellent, and everything is well organised and comfortable.
A major advantage for us is the parking. It is very convenient for larger vehicles, and our driver is able to park a truck and trailer without difficulty, which is not always easy to find when travelling for work.
Because of this, whenever we have jobs in the Exeter area, this is always the hotel he prefers to stay at. Highly recommended and we will definitely continue using it whenever we are in the area.

RRPSMWe stayed in two King rooms with balconies as a family and overall the hotel has a lot going for it. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Exeter, perfect for walking everywhere. The hotel itself looks great, especially the sky bar on the top floor. The views are excellent, the drinks are very good, and the service up there was genuinely friendly and attentive. We also grabbed some nibbles in the downstairs restaurant and both the food and service were solid.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and the balconies were a nice touch. Everything felt modern and comfortable.
The only real downside — and it’s a big one — is the front desk service. For a hotel at this price point (and especially as an IHG property), it really let the whole place down. The staff were slow, not particularly knowledgeable (and I hate to add, not the ”quickest”), and quite short/rude at times. We were told when checking in that we’d get late checkout as IHG members, but when we returned later a different staff member had no idea what we were talking about and seemed confused about how to handle it. She eventually offered only one room until 12pm, which after a 3pm check-in really doesn’t feel like proper late checkout.
We travel a lot and the front desk experience here was noticeably below standard. The rest of the hotel (rooms, bar, restaurant, location) is genuinely good, but the poor front-of-house service is what we’ll remember most. Would I stay again? Probably, because of the location and the rooms, but I really hope they sort out the front desk training and attitude.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel was really convenient for the train station being only 5 to 10 minutes walk away. This was great as we had booked a train via Trip at a super price. The hotel is a great base to explore the area including Brixham, Torquay, Teignmouth and Dawlish - using the train was cheap and quick. Now for the hotel - We arrived at around 2pm and the room was ready which was a result. The lift is operated by the room key and is good for security. The room was clean and large with a super king sized bed and a walk in shower with toiletries and hairdryer. There is also an iron and ironing board if needed. The room was very comfortable and extremely quiet and soundproofed. There is air con or heating in the room and the maid visited daily to make up the room and replenish the tea and coffee. We booked a breakfast included room - highly recommended! There is a buffet for hot breakfast plus cereals, fruit, toast, croissants and pastries. Tea, coffee and juices. Everything was replenished as needed - My advice is to book this because it is £18 PP if bought on the day. The staff here were exceptional from the front desk to the maids and the restaurant and bar staff - very nice crew and most helpful and polite. We ate in the hotel on one of our nights and found there to be a decent choice with a vegetarian option or two. There are a few good eating houses nearby - we recommend Henrys Bar and The Local Thai as really good places. Overall this hotel is extremely good and very good value for money - We will stay again if in the area.

UUsuario invitadoWe stayed in a family club room with our 3 year old grandson. The room was huge with 3 French doors leading to large balcony & magnificent garden & sea views. The heated pool was superb. Our only niggle would be that because of the dog friendly nature of the hotel there were perhaps naturally dog hairs on the bar/dining room & the shower could have benefitted from a deep clean. Due to the age of the hotel we accept that upgrades occur as necessary on an ongoing basis. Parking was great & all the staff were helpful & friendly. We would definitely return again.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel itself was nice; can’t fault it. Our room however, had a weird, stale smell and was off-putting, with no way to ventilate the room by opening the windows, as you cannot open them - A/C is not a natural ventilation.
Bed was comfortable, slept perfectly fine, just not nice waking up with the smell, as mentioned before.
Breakfast was good, although I’ve had better.

El hotel está situado en la parte inferior de la calle principal de Totnes. Es un hotel y bar ocupados, sirven comida. El edificio es viejo con una escalera central que conduce a las habitaciones. Las habitaciones están muy limpias, decoradas de forma sabrosa y las camas son cómodas..

El hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad, pero no se puede encontrar en el hotel.
T han permanecido en otros hoteles etc si no hay vacaciones aquí, pero de mi experiencia si te gusta un ambiente relajado amigable, hermosas habitaciones, ubicación Totnes como base, entonces este es el lugar para venir .
También es un paseo a un paseo de la película más hermosa que he estado en, que se está ahogando, a lo largo de la calle principal,
El hotel ofrece capacidad para 6 coches en la parte de atrás del hotel.
