After reserving, I received a courtesy call from the hotel, and we then connected on WeChat since I don’t speak Chinese. The hotel introduced me to Long, the housekeeper, who coordinated our entire stay with great care and attention. Before our arrival, they asked if we had any special requests. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked them to decorate the room with flowers—and they did a beautiful job. They also asked about our dinner and breakfast preferences and were impressively organized in their preparations. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but our taxi had trouble locating the hotel. I called Long, and he immediately came out to meet us—a huge help! When we checked in, they welcomed us with refreshments and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a bathtub, which our three-year-old son especially loved. To our delight, they had thoughtfully prepared a child’s hygiene kit for him, including kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and a dental kit. We also received a handwritten note, a fresh fruit bowl, and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very tastefully decorated. There’s a small indoor play area for children, including a slide, tent, and games—our son played there every day. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds and spending time at the scenic swimming pool, which is nestled in the mountains. The food was another highlight: we had a delicious Chinese dinner and a traditional Chinese breakfast, both full of flavor. Throughout our stay, Long was incredibly helpful and made our trip truly special. Thank you, Long! I highly recommend Lost Villa. They have other locations as well, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying with them again.

From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely cared about ensuring everything went smoothly. He estado en Shifang muchas veces, y tanto las casas antiguas como las villas modernas e independientes han sido satisfactorias. La habitación era muy grande y tenía un patio común y una sala de estar en la entrada, perfectos para sentarse a charlar y tomar té. Debo destacar el servicio de mayordomo. Desde que llegamos al hotel hasta que nos fuimos dos noches después, aunque no los vimos en persona, el servicio estuvo presente en todo momento. Cualquier necesidad que tuviéramos, bastaba con mencionarla por WeChat, y la organización del coche o la provisión de artículos se resolvían al instante. Este valor añadido hace que valga la pena volver una y otra vez.

Me lo pasé genial alojándome en este hotel. La ubicación es muy práctica: está cerca de un centro comercial, un museo y muchos restaurantes diferentes. Llegar a restaurantes y zonas comerciales es rápido y fácil, y también agradecí poder pedir comida y que me la entregaran directamente en la habitación. El desayuno fue excelente, con una amplia variedad de opciones. La comida estaba bien preparada y la disfruté mucho. La hospitalidad fue lo más destacado: el personal fue amable, educado, servicial y muy atento durante toda mi estancia. Mi habitación era de buen tamaño, limpia y cómoda. El exterior del hotel es precioso, y me gustó la distribución con diferentes edificios (Bloque A y Bloque B). Me alojé en el Bloque B. Los únicos pequeños inconvenientes fueron las obras junto al hotel, que causaron algo de ruido. Sin embargo, el hotel lo gestionó con mucha consideración, proporcionando un aviso, junto con antifaces y tapones para los oídos, algo que agradecí mucho. Otro pequeño inconveniente fue que mi habitación estaba muy lejos del ascensor, lo que requería un largo paseo por el pasillo. Sería útil que hubiera un ascensor adicional o un acceso más fácil al otro extremo del edificio. En general, fue una estancia maravillosa y, a pesar de los pequeños inconvenientes, sin duda recomendaría este hotel y me alojaría aquí de nuevo con gusto.

With professionalism and attention to detail, she introduced the hotel’s amenities and kindly recommended an upgrade to the Lakeside Suite—a decision that immersed us in a dreamlike Jiangnan experience far beyond our expectations. The Lakeside Suite framed Dongqian Lake like a living ink-wash painting. Each morning, we opened the floor-to-ceiling windows to mist-kissed waters resembling a classical scroll; by dusk, the lake shimmered in amber hues under the setting sun, dotted with distant sailboats. Inside, the suite masterfully balanced traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary comfort—exquisitely carved screens divided the tranquil living space, embroidered cushions complemented modern art pieces, and the freestanding bathtub by the window created the illusion of floating above the lake. The smart bedside control system, allowing us to adjust lighting and curtains with a touch, harmonized technology with timeless elegance. May’s service was nothing short of impeccable. Noticing our preference for quiet mornings, she proactively adjusted housekeeping schedules. When we expressed interest in local flavors, she not only recommended authentic Ningbo restaurants but also hand-drew a map of nearby attractions. These thoughtful, personalized touches transformed a routine stay into a heartfelt experience. At checkout, a carefully prepared gift and a handwritten note from May added the perfect sentimental farewell. Park Hyatt Ningbo redefines luxury through details—not in opulent extravagance, but in the artful fusion of cultural heritage, intuitive service, and refined design. Here, every corner whispers a Jiangnan tale, and every gesture carries genuine warmth. I missed having a dental kit, comb, body cream, and shower gel. Even the shampoo was absent from the toiletries collection. Tiny Bottles: In the cabinet, I found only tiny bottles of body wash and shampoo. While they were functional, I expected more comprehensive amenities.
