This luxurious sanctuary, transformed from an ancient Jiangnan water village, seamlessly blends traditional architectural elegance with modern sophistication. Upon arrival, May, the Front Office Manager, greeted us with a warm smile that instantly melted away our travel fatigue. With professionalism and attention to detail, she introduced the hotel’s amenities and kindly recommended an upgrade to the Lakeside Suite—a decision that immersed us in a dreamlike Jiangnan experience far beyond our expectations. The Lakeside Suite framed Dongqian Lake like a living ink-wash painting. Each morning, we opened the floor-to-ceiling windows to mist-kissed waters resembling a classical scroll; by dusk, the lake shimmered in amber hues under the setting sun, dotted with distant sailboats. Inside, the suite masterfully balanced traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary comfort—exquisitely carved screens divided the tranquil living space, embroidered cushions complemented modern art pieces, and the freestanding bathtub by the window created the illusion of floating above the lake. The smart bedside control system, allowing us to adjust lighting and curtains with a touch, harmonized technology with timeless elegance. May’s service was nothing short of impeccable. Noticing our preference for quiet mornings, she proactively adjusted housekeeping schedules. When we expressed interest in local flavors, she not only recommended authentic Ningbo restaurants but also hand-drew a map of nearby attractions. These thoughtful, personalized touches transformed a routine stay into a heartfelt experience. At checkout, a carefully prepared gift and a handwritten note from May added the perfect sentimental farewell. Park Hyatt Ningbo redefines luxury through details—not in opulent extravagance, but in the artful fusion of cultural heritage, intuitive service, and refined design. «Shangri-La es un buen hotel. Las habitaciones son confortables y limpias. El restaurante de bufete tiene una buena variedad de alimentos y el precio es razonable. Sin embargo, se cierra a las 9:00, que es demasiado pronto. Hay otro restaurante/bar, pero siempre fue vacío. La ubicación del hotel está muy lejos de los lugares de interés.»

«Stayed here a few times since I left Ningbo and have been returning for visits. I knew the hotel already when it used to have M Bar but - as predicted - they have finally done away with the place and replaced it with some kind of members lounge. In fact, that whole side of the hotel has gone more upmarket - in keeping with the standards of the brand. The reception staff are efficient if a bit cold, the breakfast is plentiful and fresh (I think there was a conference or something as was super busy) and the hotel is clean and roomy. The soft pillows are still my biggest complaint but I have continued to stay here despite this and beds are comfortable in general. Thanks and best wishes.»

«No lo recomiendo. 1. La habitación aún olía fuertemente a pintura debido a la reforma. 2. El aislamiento acústico era pésimo; podía oír la televisión de la habitación de al lado y la puerta del baño de arriba al cerrarse. 3. El vestuario de la piscina tenía una pequeña sala de vapor, pero ni siquiera la encendieron, lo que demuestra la tacañería de los dueños. Esto me lleva al siguiente punto. 4. Los artículos de aseo eran de muy mala calidad; los peines y cepillos de dientes eran de plástico, y su calidad era peor que la de un hotel de 300-500 RMB como el Huazhu Club. 5. El diseño de la entrada y salida del aparcamiento subterráneo era extraño; había que girar en sentido contrario para salir. En resumen: El precio no se correspondía con la calidad. No se podía comparar con otros hoteles de la misma categoría en cuanto a detalles, y mi estancia no fue cómoda. Al día siguiente me alojé en el Indigo, y el personal fue mucho más atento y amable.»

«Me lo pasé genial alojándome en este hotel. La ubicación es muy práctica: está cerca de un centro comercial, un museo y muchos restaurantes diferentes. Llegar a restaurantes y zonas comerciales es rápido y fácil, y también agradecí poder pedir comida y que me la entregaran directamente en la habitación. El desayuno fue excelente, con una amplia variedad de opciones. La comida estaba bien preparada y la disfruté mucho. La hospitalidad fue lo más destacado: el personal fue amable, educado, servicial y muy atento durante toda mi estancia. Mi habitación era de buen tamaño, limpia y cómoda. El exterior del hotel es precioso, y me gustó la distribución con diferentes edificios (Bloque A y Bloque B). Me alojé en el Bloque B. Los únicos pequeños inconvenientes fueron las obras junto al hotel, que causaron algo de ruido. Sin embargo, el hotel lo gestionó con mucha consideración, proporcionando un aviso, junto con antifaces y tapones para los oídos, algo que agradecí mucho. Otro pequeño inconveniente fue que mi habitación estaba muy lejos del ascensor, lo que requería un largo paseo por el pasillo. Sería útil que hubiera un ascensor adicional o un acceso más fácil al otro extremo del edificio. En general, fue una estancia maravillosa y, a pesar de los pequeños inconvenientes, sin duda recomendaría este hotel y me alojaría aquí de nuevo con gusto.»

«El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, y la vista era hermosa a la noche y probablemente el principal punto de venta. Tenemos la cena de buffet que fue realmente muy valioso para el hotel de 5 estrellas con muchas opciones es una buena opción para las familias y grupos más grandes que las parejas. La habitación era perfecta, aunque ahora puede encontrar lugares modernos en la ciudad, pero la cama era muy cómoda.»

«I checked in early in the morning which the hotel didnt have rooms yet, so receptionist Babbby served me very well, complimentary upgrade, complimentary breakfast and arranged to take my luggage to the room when ready while I was out, great service. The only thing is when I got to room 3009 as the corridor end room, , the electricity must have problems, lights could not turn on, the bathroom lights turned on but for 1 sec and turned off itself, I repeated and played around the switch a few times then gave up, so when i was just about to walk out with my luggage, it turns on, the curtain motor closed 2/3 and stopped untill i played around with the switch , suggest hotel to do maintenence for the room or stay away.»

«Really thankful for the staffs, all of them was very helpful. As foreigners who dont have china number, the hotel staffs kindly provided a number for us to use so that we could order delivery. The room was very big and cleanliness was done well everyday too. Location was also pretty ideal, surrounded by 2 shopping malls and the ride to various tourist attractions was pretty short too / of acceptable distance and timing.
