NNicole StFRIENDLIEST Hotel in China! Honestly, these were the kindest hotel owners we've ever had the pleasure to encounter. Kind and thoughtful and helpful. The rooms were super clean and quiet. Breakfast was an absolute feast...plus it was prepared early in the morning due to our early train departure. The hotel's location in Qiantong Town was perfect and scenic. And the nightly hotel rates were very affordable. I definitely recommend staying here.

TTridib MisraAfter reserving, I received a courtesy call from the hotel, and we then connected on WeChat since I don’t speak Chinese. The hotel introduced me to Long, the housekeeper, who coordinated our entire stay with great care and attention. Before our arrival, they asked if we had any special requests. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked them to decorate the room with flowers—and they did a beautiful job.
They also asked about our dinner and breakfast preferences and were impressively organized in their preparations. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but our taxi had trouble locating the hotel. I called Long, and he immediately came out to meet us—a huge help! When we checked in, they welcomed us with refreshments and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a bathtub, which our three-year-old son especially loved.
To our delight, they had thoughtfully prepared a child’s hygiene kit for him, including kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and a dental kit. We also received a handwritten note, a fresh fruit bowl, and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very tastefully decorated.
There’s a small indoor play area for children, including a slide, tent, and games—our son played there every day. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds and spending time at the scenic swimming pool, which is nestled in the mountains. The food was another highlight: we had a delicious Chinese dinner and a traditional Chinese breakfast, both full of flavor.
Throughout our stay, Long was incredibly helpful and made our trip truly special. Thank you, Long!
I highly recommend Lost Villa. They have other locations as well, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying with them again.

Despite not having a car, the hotel's strategic location allowed us to embark on a delightful on-foot adventure. A scenic hike from the hotel unveiled a hidden gem—a breathtaking waterfall that added an extra layer of enchantment to our stay. Moreover, a leisurely walk down the mountain led us to a charming village nestled on the edge of a vast lake, creating the perfect setting for a tranquil sunset stroll.
Our overall experience at this haven was nothing short of magical. The thoughtful details, combined with the friendly staff and natural wonders surrounding the hotel, made it a memorable retreat. We can genuinely say this place exceeded our expectations, and we're already planning our return. Highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and warm hospitality.

AAmanda88What a wonderful hotel! About half an hour before we arrived I had conracted the hotel for a special request and they made sure it happened. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. We enjoyed our own private hot spring spa in our room and the ones in the public area. It is a great place to go when you want to get out of the city. We went for a long walk to explore the area and it was beautiful. I hope to go back to this hotel again soon!

__WeChat323125****¡Vine con toda mi familia, niños y ancianos incluidos, al Ningbo Jiulong Lake Kaiyuan Resort por un fin de semana (dos días y una noche), y es realmente perfecto para viajes familiares! Los niños se volvieron locos en el parque de atracciones en cuanto entraron; hay muchas instalaciones de juegos al aire libre y son seguras. A los mayores les encantaba pasear junto al lago, el aire era especialmente bueno.
La habitación del hotel estaba muy limpia. Habíamos reservado una habitación con vistas al jardín, y la recepción nos la mejoró a una habitación familiar. Los niños estaban encantados y el patio era muy grande. Todos los empleados fueron muy amables; al vernos con niños, se ofrecieron a ayudarnos con el equipaje.
Comimos las dos veces en el restaurante del hotel. Los mariscos eran frescos y el precio era razonable. Lo que más le gustó a los niños fue la piscina cubierta, no querían salir. También fuimos a la playa a jugar con la arena y toda la familia se lo pasó genial.
El estacionamiento es conveniente y no está lejos del lago Jiulong. Toda la familia quedó satisfecha esta vez. ¡Si tenemos la oportunidad, volveremos! Lo recomiendo a familias que viajen con niños y ancianos.

El hotel está cerca de la playa, hermosa vista del mar, el sol es atractivo y la brisa del mar es una cerra en la parte superior. El personal es muy bienvenido, dulce, paciente y muy útil.Vic Guo siempre estaba disponible y las manos se mantuvieron cuando necesitaba ayuda, habla inglés que hizo todo más fácil. Las habitaciones son hermosas y espaciosas 😍 y tienen realmente las mejores vistas que le harán sentir muy difícil tomar los ojos. Me sentí muy cómodo en la habitación, el sofá y la cama son suaves y cómodas, debo mencionar también el espacioso paseo en el armario, si eres un sobrepaquetero como yo, estás seguramente cubierto 😂. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es muy agradable. Recomiendo absolutamente este hotel, mi experiencia con la Plaza de la Corona siempre es la primera en cada ciudad 👌🥂

The hospitality here is exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. They prepared a fire for us, brought us warm milk, and even shared food with us at times. These thoughtful gestures meant so much to us, especially being far from home. Their kindness felt genuine and heartfelt.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The environment is peaceful, clean, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing. It is located right by the water streams, which makes the atmosphere even more calming and special. Waking up to such natural surroundings was truly refreshing.
This was more than just a stay; it felt like being welcomed by family. We are so grateful for the warmth, generosity, and care we experienced here. We will always remember this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and sincere hospitality.

CCliffHangerThe land lady is really kind & nice, attended to all our needs & requests. They serve decent food at their self-run local restaurant & the location is within a charming village. The room is new, so if it was cleaned properly, I would have given an easy 5 stars. However, only the bed linens & towels are obviously sanitary & the rest are all questionable. But the hot water in the shower is very hot, which is a big plus & The pillows are soft & comfortable. I would recommend not to drink the water from the boiling device as it tastes funny, and keep the bathroom door closed because there’s an awful smell that comes out of it sometimes. The public veranda overlooking the mountains is not maintained at all & is dirty, if not, it would be a great spot to relax. Overall my stay was ok, especially because of the very accommodating land lady/owner.

UUsuario invitadoThe nature around the hotel is amazing, but the facilities are quite old. It’s good place to have rest from the city noise. Very comfortable house, with nice balcony and huge bathtub. Breakfast was also tasty. There is nothing around the hotel within a walking distance, so we felt bored as we like active leisure. Also there is no lighting so you cannot really walk around in the evening. it is better to stay in the room after 7pm as the pathway to the house has no lights as well. I wouldn’t suggest this place for families with kids below 4 years old because of steep stairs and lack of baby equipment like cribs. But it’s a great place for couples to spend one day together in the nature. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Things to be mentioned for foreign visitors who might not be understood: the breakfast/dinner location is uphill, 15 minutes walk from the hotel, so if you don’t have a car it might be a little uncomfortable (shuttle is provided only in the evening). Another point is that the outdoor spa from the hotel and the shared pool can be accessed only once, therefore do all your things before entering to enjoy the longest. These are not critics, and are advices meant to create awareness for future travellers. Besides that, great experience! I would recommend!
